Super accommodating staff, you can tell they care to earn your business - they re welcoming, accommodating, and no appointment needed. This was my second time visiting. The staff left a positive impression the first time: I could stay in my car and in a few minutes I was ready to go. This time I rolled in at 5:53pm and even though they closed at 6pm that day, they waved me in. I was sure they were going to turn me away, and I wouldn t have even been mad at it. I was just trying my luck. But I was so pleasantly surprised! Again, it was quick and comfortable. Thanks to everyone who works there and fosters a culture of helpfulness.

I have been to Valvoline twice - first to get an oil change and then the second time for a radiator flush. The first time it was on a Saturday around noon so I waited about 40 minutes but they were efficient once I got in the bay. I went the second time as I got a coupon with a substantial discount. It's close to where I live. They are good at explaining everything. I would recommend them.

This place is the worst, to get a oil change you have to give themName, home address, email, phone number, drivers license, medical history, etc . Why do you guys need all this formation. Just change the oil. They ask less about less about the car and want way to much personal information just to get an oil change and the prices are very high.I recommend going to get an oil change at a place where they are asking you more questions about your car and less about your personal life.

SLOW, really slow. 15 mins wait per oil change is a lie. Valvoline charges higher price for the oil change, but I ll bear it with the quick service. But waiting for more than an hour and with this price?No

My driver side wiper fell off and it rained all day yesterday. Was able to pull up to Valvoline and within 10 mins I was on my way driving safely again. Great ppl and service

These folks are awesome. I usually don't have a lot of time to get my oil changed, so I rely on them during my work lunch breaks. The team over here is always good and keeps my car running well. Thanks!

Manager, Layla is Rude, Arrogant, condescending and unhelpful. Very Poor Customer Service by Manager. I would give it less stars if it would allow.My teenage son presented a coupon, and it was wrong. He was pressured to pay the full amount. When I spoke with Layla, the "manager for 10 years" said she could not credit or refund him. I asked who was above her, and she said "No-One" Because he was expecting to use the coupon, he had $30 cash and only an American Express gift card. Layla refused to credit the $25. She said you cant refund a gift card, I asked for the cash then and she refused. I called AM Ex and they said it is like a regular card and yes, they can credit it. I went to the place in person, where she was as rude and arrogant as she was on the phone. I asked her to give it a try, and she said she has tried in the past. I asked her to try again, if not, I would dispute the charge. She then wanted to see the car, which my son had, since there are cameras and he brought the car in. Yet another excuse. One of the employees tried to explain they needed the VIN number and she got mad at him. Even though, the receipt has the VIN on it, which was not acceptable. My son was not able to get there in the 10 minutes they would be closing. I told her we would be back tomorrow morning, and she said" no= it cant be done then, and she was not waiting the 5-10 minutes for him to get there".Is there really how you should do business?

Whether it s my personal car or the company van, I always get my oil changes at Valvoline. They re very professional but also pretty cool people. They let you know what you need and they don t scam you into getting more than you need. I usually get the oil changes for the company van in NY, but if you ever need an oil change or any type of service to be done they can scan your VIN and they ll have everything come up on their computer.

Very well organized, and fast. Luis was very helpful and upfront about prices. Oil changes are a little more expensive than the usual, but they re not constantly trying to sell scams, will offer other quick services like replacing oil or filling coolant for cheap reasonable prices. A great place to change your oil fast with well mannered and efficient team

Manager purposely tried to force people to purchase synthetic oil. The regular oil was 49 and with $10 coupon is 39. I didn t have time to argue but they just don t want to sell you regular oil. They have obscured the price board with a tree. Instead I spent 75$. I dont want to say anything about the manager because I dont want anyone to lose her job because of me.Please don t go to this place, because they advertise deceptively. They say your car requires synthetic oil when I have been using regular oil for 7 years in the car. I will never visit this place ever again. Manager runs a bad shop with hard selling tactics. Awful.I know I will get the standard reply for the store to send the VIN. I am not going to do that because I am not doing this to get the money back, but to make sure that YOU and store manager is receptive to customer's economic realities. If your 'System doesnt show up' with regular oil, this is NOT a permission to loot the customer. Valvoline and Store manager are complicit in this loot. You MUST give customer the regular oil choice before you start with your oil change process. If you don't then the corporate is as guilty as the Store Manager. will NEVER go to this place ever again. Standard response will just irritate further.

I broought my car in last night 11-7-2023 for a oil change it was close to closing 515 pm the staff was rude from the guy telling me to guide my car in he was very upset and another person who was working there was yelling things to me after i told them i did not want them to touch my car baswed off of how there were acting . " Note I did smell alcohol " So that may have been the issue . I have lived in this area for 32 years and i will share with every person i know how this place operates.

This location botched my rear differential. I was in for a routine oil change and they offered to replace my rear differential fluid. I let them change it. A week later my car wasn't performing as usual so I took it to my mechanic. He told me that the rear differential fluid was black and that my gears were damaged due to a bad swap of fluids. When I called the Valvoline manager to explain this, it became my problem because I let someone else drain it. How was I supposed to know what was wrong with my car and that I should have brought it back to my oil change location instead of my mechanic. Now I am going to have to pay $5600 for a new rear differential. Valvoline was not willing to help a long time customer of 15+ years with multiple family members going to this location. Way to stand behind your service!Service: Oil change

Yea it's not cheep but if you want cheep do it yourself. I'd rather have professionals who are really fast and friendly take care of everything in 10 minutes and you don't even get out of the car. No high pressure BS, just a small pit crew getting it done. Air, filters, lights, and they even fixed my oil pressure gauge that used to go on and off all the time.

This location has consistently proven to provide caring customer service to its clients. During my last visit, I told Mike, one of the employees, that I needed to check the engine as the check-engine- light was on. One of the workers was just about to mention that Valvoline does not provide the service, but he jumped in and said he would check the status with one of the devices he had. He quickly hooked it up and explained the issue thoroughly, and referred me to a mechanic he knew of that gave good service. Shea, one of the other workers, gave me a battery life check for free when I asked him if I needed a switch. He also let me in on what fluid to get to clean the battery acid residue off my battery, and I was able to take care of it. The manager that serviced me was also extremely helpful and caring. Great quality service from every worker I've encountered there!

Veterans, Beware They did their job. The attendant was great, so I decided I would get everything done at once on my car; it came up to $600 (I was feeling good). Then I asked if there was a military discount they said yes! I showed my credentials. The manager came over, stood over him, then pulled him to the side. The attendant returns and sadly says my manager says it's s for active military smh. I am a disabled retired 3-time War Veteran that was insulting, yet they give it to police officers, EMTs, etc. Wow, what a way to lose a first-time customer!

This is the best experience I ve had going to an oil change station. Super friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and attentive staff. They moved as a team and have figured out how to make the customer experience a great one. 5 stars. I m telling everyone to go here. I think you can get ten bucks off if you activate an online coupon they have.

Layla the manager was absolutely amazing. I went to the one in Piscataway prior to coming here. The one in Piscataway told me I couldn't use my Groupon and that i had to wait 24 hours ( i had a bar scan code ready to use) . Layla told me she was able to take my Groupon and was available to use it. Will definitely always be coming to this one instead. The rest of the staff was also really friendly and helpful.

The techs were very courteous and professional. Rating is for Valvoline policy not employees. Requested a oil change and transmission flush but was told my vehicle has too many miles on it (184,000) and they can t do transmission service. I told them my last trans flush was at 157,000 miles and the tech politely replied Sorry it s shop policy, too many miles and too much liability . Heading to Jiffy Lube we re they gladly did it.As previously mentioned techs were great but shop policy sucks.

Cameron and Deronte were professional and knowledgeable. This location is hands down, the best Valvoline location (I've had to use a few and no place compares to this one. Staff is friendly and HONEST... communicative the entire time and up front. The vibe of the whole shop is awesome. It's hard to find service today where employees aren't disgruntled and as a customer (outsider) you can feel it. Not this place: they all work well together and have each other's backs.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Air conditioning, Oil change

Thank goodness for the wonderful customer service!! My car cut off when I was getting gas at the station right next to this location. Of course the weather was terrible to add more drama to the situation. The guys walked over to my car, which was still parked at the gas station. It was the battery :( These guys changed my battery in the pouring rain and very quickly I must say because I had to be to work. I can't thank this team more, they turned my stressful morning back around!!! I will definitely be returning for over services.

I asked for an oil change, new windshield wipers, and to have the tire pressure checked ( which was part of the basic maintenance check anyway ). Devon and Eric handled it, quickly and efficiently, while I waited in my car. Devon even helped me re-set the dash screen / computer system on my Ford Focus. So convenient. Under a hundred bucks, in 15 minutes, and excellent customer service. Thanks guys!8/5/2020Went back to these guys ( after what I thought was a questionable experience at another location ) last month. Rasheen greeted me and was very pleasant and professional. The Manager, Mike, took the time to explain to me, as well as show me, exactly what they were doing, which I really appreciated. Apparently, synthetic oil ( which I had never had on my other cars ) does not come out of a plastic bottle, but rather from a barrel / drum and is poured into an unmarked container ( which caused confusion at the location ). Anyway, these guys are great! Excellent service and my peace of mind has been restored about my car's performance. THANK YOU, Mike & Rasheen!4/8/23Excellent customer service! Needed an oil change & thought I might have a leak, because my oil change light came on about 1k miles earlier than expected. They caught it & replaced my cracked cap under the car for $20 ( otherwise I would have had to go back to the Ford dealership, which is a major hassle ). This Valvoline location is the best in the area. They take care of their customers and their vehicles like no other. Today Isaiah took care of us and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, telling us about services we might need in the future and giving recommendations about our engine. First time using this location and it was a pleasant experience. Was greeted by a young lady name by the name of Lauren. She was super sweet and explained how simple the process was. For those paranoid like me, she happily showed me the brand new filter they were going to install. Was in and out fairly quickly and the staff was also very friendly including the assistant manager.

Do not go here. I no longer recommend going to this location. They left off screws on the bottom cover on my Ford Escape and I had to get it fixed at my expense.They took unfair advantage of my wife trying to sell her unnecessary services.While this is a convenient oil change, the price is quite high. They say it's Valvoline oil, but it is bulk oil in a drum. They often use aftermarket filters.No discount for your own filter. Oil change prices includes up to 5 quarts, and no filter. Upcharge for extra oil.
