Decided to get a second opinion on a repair that was going to be very costly. Anthony was very patient, took a thorough look at my car, and discovered that the repair I needed was not what my previous mechanic had diagnosed. He also discovered another issue with my car that I had been having but my other mechanic was not able to find. Anthony always responds promptly to text messages, and is able to get repairs done in a very timely and convenient manner. He showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and the pieces that were needed for the repairs; his transparency was much appreciated.

Anthony and the team at Storm NEVER, EVER, make me get repairs that are not needed (unlike other places that just see "sucker" across my face). He has not only saved me costly repairs on my 2 cars but also for others that I've sent to him for a second opinion when their mechanic or even their dealer advised them to get some insane ($$$) repair. The best review I can give Storm is to keep sending them more referrals! Thanks!

After hearing this dragging noise every time I braked, I knew something was wrong. I m new to the area so Finding a trustworthy mechanic probably wasn t going to happen. So I googled (I google everything) and storms mechanic popped up with great reviews so I went there. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by owner Anthonyhe immediately knew the issue (brakes & rotors needed to be replaced) what needed to be done and how long it would take. I asked so many questions, but He was patient and answered every one of them. He even stopped to show me what one of the parts looked like. He offered to take me home while the work was done. I estimated I would get my car back in the morning since the shop closed at 5 and I had gotten there after 330. Within 2 hours he called- my car was ready I was very suprised and happy at the same time because he stayed after his closing time to make sure I had my car. I was very pleased with the level of service I received, fair and reasonable pricing, the knowledge the mechanic displayed and most of all his friendly and approachable attitude. Rarely do I ever give top notch ratings. There is usually something that happens keeping it from that 5th star. That was not the case with Anthony at Storm's Automotive. Our truck's brakes went out and we were to have it towed to a nearby mechanic. There were several to choose from but very few open on Saturday. I had called around to see who could see us. Then I saw Storm's and noticed the other great reviews and thought, "okay, let's give them a shot." Like many of us, we are very skeptical of your stereotypical rip off mechanic. Quite the contrary with this experience --- Very glad that we made this decision to call Anthony. Once truck was towed to him, he wasted no time looking over the 99 Ford Ranger and found some things immediately that were causing the problem with the brakes. I had also told him about how the gears seemed to be slipping when driving. We were told by other mechanics within the last year that we would need to rebuild the transmission which was priced over $3,000! Anthony said let me take a look at that as well. Fast forwarding ahead, not only did they fix our brakes, he discovered the problem in the gearshift. Ordered the part and made the adjustments necessary. Truck was in and out within 2 days (it actually may have been one but it was a matter of when I could pick it up). Anthony never once tried overcharging us. He also did not make up a bunch of BS like so many do to try and get you to spend more $$$. Instead, it was significantly less expensive than we could have ever imagined! All in all, the truck runs better than it has in years. I never thought this would happen nor did I think we would ever have such a positive and successful experience with a local auto shop. Now I understand fully why so many people are raving about their auto repair experience which seldom happens. I strongly recommend calling Anthony the next time your car or truck needs repairs. If you are looking for a mechanic that is honest and knows his way around the car, Anthony of Storms Auto is the guy. He has always given an honest assessment and is looking for the long term relationship not the short term gain. I strongly recommend Anthony as he always treats me and all his customers the right way.

Had a really loud noise coming from my car when I pulled up to my house last night. Still had it in the AM and it was constant. As well as some check engine lights. I said I had to go to Storm to get it looked at. He looked at it and diagnosed the problem IMMEDIATELY. He was extremely honest, added some fluid and tightened a hose that came loose and said you should be good. I respect the honesty and knowledge of the craft. He could have said, let me look at it and come back in a few hours... and charged me an arm and a leg. But he was honest and fixed the problem STAT. I definitely recommend Storm Auto for service, honesty and good work. I also took my wife s car here and fixed brakes rotors etc. comes with my highest ratings.

After taking my car to my previous mechanic for diagnostics and getting a quote for a job that cost way above my price range, I decided to get a second opinion. I was referred to Storm's Automotive by a friend. The mechanic, Anthony, took in my car, performed a diagnostic and had found that my car was still under warranty - all free of charge (I have a rent to buy car) - which my original mechanic claimed it wasn't. I called the dealer to confirm and he was right. I was able to get my car repaired by my dealer.

I have been taking my truck to Storm's Automotive for years. All of the work performed has always been done correctly the first time. Anthony is honest and his rates are fair. His troubleshooting skills are some of the best I've seen.

Anthony is terrific. I've been to him twice in the last month for different reasons. The quality of his work is good and is done in a timely manner. He will point out other repairs that needs to be done naming the very important ones first but he's not pushy, just informative. I'm moving further South but I will come back to Storms Auto in the future. I wish I could give a 10 rating!!!!! Thanks Anthony Shawn

Anthony at Storm's Automotive saved the day for me yesterday!!! There I was with a dead car 150 miles from home and only 1/4 of the way to my destination. Was I going to be stranded overnight while waiting for some dealership to find the time to even look at my car? Nope. Luckily for me someone recommended that I get towed Storm's in nearby Plainfield.Anthony realized that I was in a real bind and found the time to look at my car as soon as it was towed to his shop. Then, in a flash he diagnosed the problem and realized it was something he could take care of immediately. I was stunned at the combination of his compassion and skill. What a great experience!!!!!!!

I took both my vehicles, an SUV and a sedan for brakes and rotors replacements in addition to respective oil change. My Honda pilot also needed an axle replaced. The work done on both cars was very professional and swiftly done. Very honest mechanic, glad to know we have our own 'Scotty Kilmer'(very honest and informative mechanic in YouTube) in Plainfield, NJ.

Very honest and helpful mechanic. Had a check engine light on with the code for minor emission leak. Anthony suggested a new gas cap, which I purchased my self and installed for $9, then reset the codes for me. Problem solved. Not one to milk costumers for extra dollars. Hard working and also friendly.

Anthony is the best!!! For any females that don't have a man (father, husband / boyfriend, uncle, or brother) around.... THIS IS THE MECHANIC FOR YOU. He explains things to you, if you need multiple things done he let's you know in what order you need to have them done in, and he stops and gives you a call to let you know if he finds something else while he's working instead of just pointing it out on your invoice. Anthony helps my mom, sister, and myself keep our cars and passengers in safe running vehicles.

Honest, affordable, detailed explanation of work performed so it makes sense no matter how much knowledge of cars you have. I no longer have to go to multiple mechanics to see if I'm being told the truth, you get truth here, up front, and work quality is on-point.

Honest, friendly and the best costumer service I've received in any mechanic shop. I showed up with a transmission problem and I was literally there 5 mins, he looked at it tighend a loose bolt and didn't charge me a dime.
