As always, when I entered the dealership, Martin always approaches me with a satisfactory greeting. I provide him with my vehicle problem and he goes above and beyond to ensure my level of service meets my standards and I leave satisfied. One thing he does that I love, is he always ask if I have any questions or concerns on today s service. Martin is an asset and leader to the company. As far as service, my vehicle service was completed in a timely fashioned and I enjoyed the hospitality (water and breakfast bars). Thank you North Plainfield Nissan.

Amazing customer service. Cole Formica could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful with his recommendations and working out the best deal possible.Drake couldn't have been nicer assisting me setting up the technology in my new Pathfinder. And finally Shaun in the finance dept. Guidance was amazing. This team is spectacular and easy to work with!! I would recommend this dealership to everyone looking for a Nissan!!

We were politely greeted by the young lady at the front desk and then met immediately with Nicole, who stayed with us throughout the entire process. I was undecided at first, but Nicole worked with me until a decision was made. She also followed up with a phone call to make sure I was enjoying my purchase and to see if I had any questions. Nicole was able to answer the question I had at the time of the call, and I am simply loving my new car.

Im very disappointed with how Nissan of North Plainfield NJ operates. I pulled onto their lot today at approximately 1:30pm on Friday Feb. 02, 2024 and I drove around looking at a few vehicles until I stopped in front of where they had their Nissan Pathfinders parked, I even got out of my personal vehicle and walked around looking at a few window stickers. And my whole duration that I was walking the lot, not 1 salesman came outside to greet me. I didn't even go inside. I figured if the customer service was like that from me pulling onto their lot, how would my overall experience would be like once inside. When I was driving past the Sales lot and I looked inside of the Dealership, it didn't seem to have been overwhelmingly busy with customers that not 1 Salesman or someone from their Management team was willing or able to atleast make contact with me. It's sad, because I am in the market of purchasing a New vehicle. It looks like I will have to go back down to Route 22 Nissan in Hillside where I purchased my wife's 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum addition, Pearl White with the Black Roof. There they made us feel welcomed as soon as you pull onto their lot. The asked all the right questions and didn't pressure us until we were ready to move forward with our own questions regarding some pacific vehicles and their various different packages. Even when we finally chose what we wanted which was the Rogue, they were very professional with even getting me the price I was willing to pay. Now that's a place to do business at. We felt welcomed and appreciated from as soon as we pulled onto their lot. We felt that Customer Service was their 1st priority, rather then them just trying to make a Sale. Sorry that I have to be the 1 that has to be the bearer of a bad review. I'm the 1 that if anything, always like to give praise to a job well done. But it's wasn't the case in my experience I had today. Hopefully this information will help change a few thing at Nissan of North Plainfield so that other potential vehicle buyers can have a much better experience then I did.

Service was quick and well done. No issues with the car so far. The only complaint I have is that I requested Nissan to borrow a car for 10 min to go buying my lunch while service was performed to my vehicle, which they sadly refused. I'd like to know the reason why Nissan only lets drive its vehicles to potential new buyers but not to current customers. Very dissapointed.

So where to begin. Oh here's a good start they are horrible. Get a used car has some scratches and a dent on the door. "We will take care of that" they said. Lie detector test proved.... that was a lie. Came in for them to fix it and the morons changed my oil. Hmmm so close almost had it. Oil white paint what's the difference right. Well now it's we don't stock this paint but I see a local place has it I'll see if they can send it over. Thanks a lot Jerry (names changed to protect the innocent) well guess what no freaking paint. Let's now talk license plates. The bracket on the front had to be removed since it was broken and the holes drilled into my bumper are crooked and too far apart. Again so close. Is there a way I can make them owe me star I ponder out loud for the universe to hear. Guess not . It's been months of this and I'm done do not go here unless you are a fan of skull splitting irritation. If you like that then I highly recommend.

Trying to make an appointment was nearly impossible. I called on a Tuesday to schedule a recall and door handle repair appointment. Spoke with two people and was told by Julianna that she d call me back when she knew when the door handle part would be in. No call back. I followed up on Thurs, was put on hold for so long, it went to VM, I left a message, no call back. I called again Friday afternoon, again put on hold so long it went to VM. An hour later, I checked my email to see that I was given a service appt for 8am Saturday morning, which did not work for me. I replied to the email rejecting the appointment and did finally get a call back from Julianna. She remembered me and apologized for not calling back earlier in the week. I was finally able to schedule an appointment time that worked for me. Was told to expect 60-90 minutes for appointment. While at the appointment, I was told that they would tell me the price of the door handle repair before doing the work. 75 minutes went by before anyone spoke to me. I ended up being at Nissan for 2.5 hours, much longer that I anticipated. Julianna did offer me a free oil change, which I accepted, although my car wasn t in need of an oil change quiet yet.

Legitimate scammers.I took my 2015 NV200 (66,000 mi) in for an oil change. They instead sent me a laundry list of supposed issues with it totaling an initial estimate of $8,000 (posted below). They sat on it for 2 weeks without any action, lied to me and said that they were "waiting to hear from the warranty company" , during which time they were impossible to get in touch with. When the claim was finally submitted, 2 weeks after I dropped it off, it was instantly denied.I decided not to work with them further; I picked up my vehicle (which still never had the oil change) and was charged a $100 diagnostic fee.I took my vehicle for a second opinion and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.So in essence, I paid $100 to be without my vehicle and under acute stress for 2 weeks. I would be down much, much more if I did not trust my instincts.Avoid at all costs.ESTLABOR $199.99/ hrAIR BAG DIAG $199.99 T0 STARTTIRE SENSORS W PROGRAM $389.99FRONT PADS W ROTOR RESURFACE $459.99FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS $1668.66ALIGN $199.99RESEAL THE TORQUE CONVERTER $2899.95DRIVEBELT $399.99INDUCTION SERVICE $399.99BRAKE FLUSH $249.99BATTERY $299.99KEY W PROGRAM $449.99

Everything was great! Steve our salesman was very nice and understood what we wanted and did not act like a typical salesperson. He and the manager worked with us on pricing and got us to where we wanted to be! Very happy with our new Rogue.

The incompetence that I have experienced on the last 3 visits to their service department has been mind blowing. My heated seats do not work AT ALL on my now 3 month old vehicle. Twice they scheduled appts for me and then said that the tech and the equipment needed to diagnose my issue weren t available on Saturday s. Then why did you schedule me? Today was my 3rd visit. They checked the temperature on my seat with a thermometer and said that they were working fine and that they were warm. I just drove here a few minutes ago with the heat on 85 and you have the heat on now. DUH, of course it s warm in here but the seats are NOT. And was a thermometer the equipment that was needed to diagnose? Even a quick Google search would tell you to check the fuses, plugs and heating elements for the seats. They did none of that. They just took my seats temperature with the heat on in the car. The warranty manual tells me the steps to escalate so I will be doing that and also going to a dealership that hopefully knows what they are doing. Also, they told me that this is how they are making them now. But the guide for this vehicle and the last two of the same model that I have had tell me that the temperature should be the same on them all. I believe that this is a common issue so if you have the same issue do not go here.

I had a really bad experience with this dealer. I went for repair of transmission of my nissan rogue. Gave the car on a friday 3.45pm but later had second thoughts considering the cost of repair was 7k+. Called them next morning at 7am, 7.30am and around 9am to hold on to the repair. But they ignored all my requests and when i went there at 11am, i was told that transmission is already taken out and i will have to pay 3.5k even if i decide not to get it repaired. Interestingly, when i give my car for a normal service, it takes 4-5 hrs and they were able to take out transmission in just 2-3 hrs even though the timeline to repair was a week.Had a terrible experience. Only +ve in dealing with them was their rep Martin, who took care of some additional repair at no cost.

Working with Bradley was amazing. He was not only friendly but he was honest and his communication and efforts were stellar. In a time where leasing/buying cars can be very challenging and costly, he was willing to work to meet my needs and worked diligently to make the process completely seamless. I cannot give him enough credit as he truly surpassed my expectations and made my experience extremely pleasant, efficient and successful. I cannot thank him enough for his efforts, patience and professionalism.

My experience here was great. I worked with Nicole who was very professional & knowledgeable & the sales manager Cole who was extremely helpful & super friendly. They both made purchasing a new altima such a quick & easy process. It was a pleasure working with them both. They made my hour drive here totally worth it! I will for sure be back & highly recommend them.

I dropped my car off Friday morning and was given a car on loan. The people were fine, but no one called me to say my car was ready for pick up, I had to call in Tuesday afternoon. Also, when I dropped my car off I mentioned that I checked the oil level, but was unable to put the dipstick back in. I asked if that could be done and was assured that it was an easy fix. Yet, when I picked up my car, I discovered the dipstick was not put back. Finally, my car is a 2023 Pathfinder which I've had now for just about 9 months and I had to change the fuel pump already. Really starting to question my purchase.

We felt so welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. Everyone was personable! We worked with Sam and he was the absolute best. He listened to our needs, took his time to walk us through options, never pressured us and followed up with us. Working with him was such a joy and we drove away with a new car and a great respect for Nissan of North Plainfield.Thank you for making the process easy, relaxing and fun!

I just paid a $200 diagnostic fee for the people at this dealership to tell me what I already told them: My navigation system and radio system is not working. They said "the system failed" (duh, that's why I am here). My air conditioner is stuck on. It cannot be turned off, nor can the temperature be changed. (Great, this happens just in time for cool weather). You would think that going to a Nissan dealership they should be able to fix/repair all things having to do with Nissan cars. Nope. They could not tell me what happened (ie: electrical short), but they did not offer to REPAIR IT. They did not give my a print out of their diagnostic report, nor did I get to speak with a mechanic. I was only offered a service to replace my navigation system...for $13,000. Oh not including labor. They never addressed my heating and cooling problem. They claimed they changed my oil and fixed my trunk button but didn't charge me for it & sent me on my way. Crooks.Update:You will see below that the Loyalty Manager asked me to reach out to her. She has not returned my calls. It is now 2 weeks since being at the dealership.Additionally, on Monday October 9th my car battery died due to corrosion. So I was charge a $200 diagnostic fee and they mechanic didn't have the dececency to acknowledge the condition of my battery and warn me about it....wouldn't it make sense to at least check the battery to see if that may be the source of my issue with car? This was poor customer service and poor communication. I want my money back.

I would be VERY skeptical of any used vehicle here that isn't certified with warranty. Drove a long ways to be mislead about all of the exterior damage not mentioned on the used vehicle for $26K, clearly deliberately omitted important details, and on mechanic's inspection found that it would not even pass inspection. Also had email communication established on this vehicle for several days, so they had plenty of opportunity to mention details not in the listing. Waste of my time and money. Shameful and disrespectful.

I have a 2008 Nissan with 196,000 miles and the transmission was giving me issues, so it was time for a new car. I knew I wanted another Nissan, as the one prior to this was a 2005 with 199,00 miles and was in an accident and totaled. I drive 136 a day round trip to work and home. She gave me no real issues at all.So I shopped around dreading to deal with buying another car and all the slimy dealers. I saw a car on North Plainfield Nissan s website and gave them a call for details. I spoke to Andrew the used car manager, then Sam the general manager. They told me all the details over phone and set me up an appointment to come see the car. When I got to the dealership I dealt with a gentleman named Manjit, he was so friendly, patient and knowledgeable, I didn t feel any pressure at all from him, I highly recommend dealing with him! My last two cars were SL models, which means fully loaded with leather, sunroof, navigation everything. The Model I was looking at was a step down the SV. I took it for test drive, the seats are so comfortable, great pick up, and still had all the bells and whistle s without the leather, navigation or sunroof. It just came off a lease so it only had 29,000 miles and was certified. I made my decision and bought it! The process took about two hours, so we told them we would be back and went to grab lunch at Aroggas down the street. It was painless, Sam, Andrew and Manjit made it such a great experience, everybody was friendly from the minute I walked through the door. I would highly recommend North Plainfield Nissan for your next Nissan or use car vehicle. It was definitely worth the trip!

I must say I was somewhat shy of going here and then walking in and not know what to expect i was completely honest about my financial hardships and needing a new car BAD! Bruno and Mr. Baena was so HELPFUL in getting me the car i seen online just the day before they worked extra hard to get me the best deal, and answered all questions I had. About 4 hours later I left with a like brand new 2018 Nissan Altima SR (Special Edition) thanks Nissan of North Plainfield!

This customer promise means nothing. I ll never send anyone to this dealership. They negotiated a lease deal with me and after making me spend my entire Saturday with them, at the time of the payment, they told me there was some miscommunication and they could not sell me the car. They ruined my day, my entire family s mood, and my trust in their commitment and word. I have never had such a terrible experience!

I took my car here to check the transmission because i felt something was weird. I felt they were giving me run arounds and without checking what i asked they said it was ok and in good condition.I had to show the "professional mechanic" that the transmission was even low on fluid SO THEN, they recommended a flush and fluid change in which for the general check and flush they charged 650 dollars.GUESS WHAT.... 3 weeks later my transmission broke down and left me stranded in the highway. Now im down 650 plus the fixing for a new transmission

The most unprofessional embarassing dealership to be tied to has to be this location nisaan of north plainfield. They call you unnecessarily, to tell you body work on your car has been done when it hasnt (considerably insurance fraud) and they call when your new cars license plates are in when theyre not. Mess up their own paperwork making you go back in to get new plates for their own incorrect documentation, nothing is ever ready, easy or truthful with this place. Save and spare yourself the time and money and go anywhere else

Matthew was very friendly and walked us through all of our car buying and leasing options. We appreciated the education as there is certainly a lot to know. They stayed well beyond closing to ensure we were satisfied. We ended up driving off the lot within a few hours with a brand new Rogue and a 3 year lease. We have always purchased outright before and we are interested to see how this works out.
