Great service. My tow truck brought me to the wrong Mavis shop so by the time I came I was 30 min late for my appointment. I came and the staff was still very pleasant and understanding. They still honored my appointment and gave me top tier treatment. Harold started on my car right away and got me in and out in record time. I will definitely come again thanks for everything

Excellent quick service. My son got a flat and we wanted to repair or replace the tire right away so we drove to Mavis, and they were able to fix the tire (thankfully!) so we didn t have to buy a new one and they also had us in and out within the hour. Not sure who worked on the tire but at the front end, I dealt with Harold and Chris and they were both very pleasant and accommodating.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience today at this Mavis location. Britt was very true and honest to her word. She gave me an estimated time and did all she could to make sure all the work was completed on time. She and Daniel were kind and courteous and very professional with me and the other customers. I highly recommend this team and this location.

The general manager, Chris, is amazing! My husband went in with my 7 month old son to fix a tire leak and it was fixed in 20 minutes so that he could go pick up my older child from school - he was quick, efficient, and wonderfully hospitable. We can t recommend them enough!

The shop manager Chris is wonderful and helped me out with new tires on my car. The price was fair, and the work was done quickly and I love the new tires. Dan and Sean at the counter were friendly and kept me entertained and comfortable while my car was being worked on.

CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ THIS!!! Never go to this place!!!!! They really hustle the money out of me . You can be on your last and they still going to get the money out of you.I walked in there, all I needed was a starter for my car. Then they going to call and say, " yes you need a starter but I see you need this and that. and it going to come up to $1400." I tell them " I don't want the addition stuff. Just the starter so go ahead" and they said " Ok $600".A hour didn't even pass and they going to call me again saying " oh I see you need an alternator"In my head, all Im saying is this company just wants to make money out of people.I ask them " so how much is this going to be" and they reply " well the starter and the alternator will probably come up to $1700 or $1800". I reply and say " hold on to everything, I will call u back and give u you the go because I swear I had got another alternator at my other mechanic and explaining to me the significance of the alternator and the starter together." and they said " okay".Probably 30 or 40min pass and they call again "if they could proceed through" and I said " hold on, Ill be in the office shortly"I go use my dad car and I run to Mavis and tell them " I DONT NOT HAVE THE MONEY AT ALL " and they said, " okay we took everything out. Its going to take a hour or something and explaining to me that its going to cost more if I come back later".Yall its a red flag when someone run in the building and say " I don't not have the money". Common sense says " Ill put everything back how I found it because the customer says they don't have the money. "Within 20min they going to call me saying my car ready. I walk in the build they saying "$600". In my head " im saying $600 for what because I said I don't have the money".The key words is "I DONT HAVE THE MONEY"Even if I had the money. I did not have to disclose that either. That's my right! Its what the customer key words said.But the people hustle the money right out of me. This manager Chris is going to be disrespectful and say me and my father that we do not have common sense. But common sense say "if a customer says they dont have money. Put everything back how they found it because the customer could have realize they can't not afford it at the moment.Honestly, its the lack of communication they have. By them calling me the 2nd time and telling me I need an alternator and explaining the significance of it for the starter. Made me believe the starter won't work well if I don't get the alternator. They should have explain to me also they have already put the starter in the car. I was thinking they didn't do nothing at all in the moment because it too much add ons. It just was not adding up on them finding all these issues. But Chris, if you are reading this, work on your communicate with people because you never know if you get someone worse to me and my father and for you to call yourself a manager; you should have resolved it to not escalade it more then what it was. You should have kept in mind that the customer is always right and asked me " would you like us to take it out(new starter) because of your circumstances". But I guess you really wanted my money!!If corp is reading this also, I think some of the managers(Chris) needs training on management skills and valuing others. By using my education I have learned that majority of managers lack on their customer service skills throughout the years of working. Please give Chris some training. We are in 2024 not 1918. Also, I would like corp to call me to discuss this situation.

Manager Chris and his team are fantastic!! Dan at the front desk is super friendly. They helped me out when I had a nail in my tire and made the process quick and easy. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs any sort of car tune up

The manager Chris and his team over at Mavis North Plainfield provide nothing but the best service for their customers. Chris, Dan, and Sean do a fantastic job at getting cars out in a timely fashion, providing extremely fair prices, all while providing the best service possible. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get their car serviced or repaired!

I was told I needed all four tires replaced and a wheel alignment. I was completely unprepared and had lots of questions, but Daniel answered all of them. He showed me all my options, explained everything to me and was incredibly competent. The team at Mavis made me feel completely at ease. Thank you!

I went to mavis to get a quote and met the sales rep. Daniel he was a wonderful guy assisted me with the whole process and i got the best price plus he helped me all the way he can with the tires and mounting keeps checking that the cars was 100% before charging me. The price quote was very reasonable and DANIEL was so kind to stay a bit extra just so he can make sure the car is secured properly and handled properly.Just walk in and ask for Daniel.

The staff is always helpful and accommodating. Shawn, Chris, and Daniel are some of the staff members that have always been really nice in helping me out with what is wrong with my car whether it is tires or brakes. They will always have my business!

I had a tire blow out and needed tires asap! Came to Mavis and Chris (mgr) took care of me ASAP! The customer service is bar none! Daniel and Amir was pleasant as well. I wouldn t go anywhere else for my car needs!

I dropped in for an oil change and was treated kindly and respectfully. Prior to arriving at the shop, I spoke with Daniel on the phone. The information he communicated to me via the phone, matched what he said to me in person. Throughout the process of performing services on my car, Daniel and the other men at Mavis were honest and straightforward with me about what my car needed and the reasoning behind their conclusions. I recommend Mavis Discount Tire in North Plainfield, NJ to anyone who is looking for a reliable, trustworthy team of people. At Mavis, you will know that you are in good hands. Did I mention how quickly they're able to get you in and out of there?!

Had some issues in the past with this location. However, I had to go back as recommended by Greenbrook Mavis to check the work previously done. Sean and Daniel acknowledged my apprehension, problems in the past and hoped to earn my business again. I told them it was crazy to me to go passed this location where I live 5 minutes walking distance and pass another Mavis where I had similar concerns just to go to Greenbrook.They were very friendly, listened to me, and acknowledged my feelings. Daniel went above and beyond contacting me, asking me more questions about the problem, getting a good price for repair, and following up. I m happy with the service I recently received and will go back again thanks to them. They also pointed out to me another issue that needed my attention. Great customer service.

I went to this Mavis on mountain Ave, next to the Cadillac dealership, a couple of weeks ago and I left as a very happy customer! Sean, the service manager and Lashawn were extremely helpful, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I needed a lot of work done and they worked out a payment plan for me. My car is now good as new and I will definitely be back if my car needs more work done

Dan and Sean were wonderful. I went in for a tire rotation. They checked and diagnosed some serious safety issues related to my vehicle. I'm pleased because if I were traveling the issue could have been catastrophic. Great customer service. Thanks so much
