I just happened to get my car inspected by Josh, I believe that's his name, and let me tell you, from the admin to the mechanics, they are amazing people with great customer service skills.Even though it was my first time there, they treated me like family, there is nothing more valuable for me than a great customer service experience. They deserve 6 stars but I can only award 5. recommended!Thank you guys, great job.

Avoid Avoid Avoid.Following the purchase of a used car, I needed an inspection. Per Glenn's website, appointments were required. I specifically choose the location over another since they required appointments. This wasn't a full inspection, just one for insurance. As I learned from another location (we'll get to that) a five minute process.Upon arrival, the location looked a bit sketchy. An abundance cars in varying states of disrepair. The office was small, had broken windows, messy, and had car batteries on the floor.I start checking in for my scheduled appointment and the woman behind the counter let me know the person who does the inspections had stepped away, but we could do the paperwork in the meantime. Sounds good to me. Before she even handed me the clipboard, someone with "Joe" on their name patch came in talking to someone else, glanced at the clipboard and paper in her hand and said (without acknowledging me) "I definitely can't get to that any time soon." I mentioned I had an appointment and needed to get my son from daycare afterwards. He suggested I get my son, come back, and wait. I asked where we could wait since the office was clearly unsafe. He said we could wait in the car to which I replied that would be difficult with a two year old. He then said we would need to reschedule and walked out.Throughout this conversation he maintained a very threatening tone to the point I felt uncomfortable.I simply left and called another shop. Stopping in without an appointment; The other shop was nice, clean and staffed by professionals. I was in, out, and on my way in under ten minutes. This was what I expected from Glenn's. Not the hostile, chop-shop atmosphere.Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

They are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Never had a problem with my car when I got it back from them. I have been going to them for car maintenance and service for two and a half years.

The owner is really nice and kind. I have to take the car there for inspection. It is not even 30 minutes to wait for the whole process. The shop locates near the intersection, which is really easy to reach!

Avoid if possible. Made an appointment for a routine insurance inspection by phone. Arrived and found no record of my appointment and bizarre hostility from the staff. Come here for incompetent administration, rudeness, and refusal to acknowledge a mistake; go elsewhere for professionalism and convenience.

Went here for DMV-Inspection after failing, WONDERFUL SERVICE!Melissa is absolutely a breath of fresh air. Customer service seems worse since COVID-19, it s nice to see she s the first person you see and speak to ..I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

Took my car into Glen s Wednesday morning it was reading PO300,PO304 & PO496 and sounded like a terrible clunker driving. Had to have coil replaced & canister pulse valve. Received it Friday late afternoon from Glen s and the car drove like brand new! All was done at a fair price. 5 stars!

Glenn s has serviced our cars 3 times recently. Each time I have been more than satisfied with the quality, professionalism, honesty and expertise of the service. I will be going back for all my repairs. They know what they are doing, charge a fair rate, and I can trust them to check my cars over. Called in advance to ask the price for an oil change, the person on the phone quoted me for $20 (as I was bringing my own oil and a filter), but after the service was done they asked me to pay $30. I thought bo big deal, maybe they made a mistake first time.Fast-forward 5-6 months later, I called again to get a price check on labour cost for oil change, the lady on the phone quoted me $125/hour I said that s more expensive than what dealerships charge. She started to explain that if it s less than hour I ll pay correspondingly, but you know what ? you do you and just hanged up the phone Looks like you never know how much they ll charge you for servicing your car, on top of being rude.

If I can give zero I ll. Very unprofessional. The lady who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. She didn t even gave me chance to talk. I just wanted to get appointment for insurance photo inspection. I had a appointment yesterday but unfortunately couldn t make it coz my son fall down from the bed and bleeding so I had immediately rush to the hospital.She didn t even listen to my situation and that I had appointment already. She was just talking talking above me and didn t stop single minute to listen to what I m saying and just hang up on me like I m not even person. Very very unprofessional, rude and Poor service.

My family has been using this garage for as long as I can remember. I recently had a severe issue with my Ford Escape and though I had to wait a while, it wasn't because he had me waiting for other customers, it was because I needed a new frame for my vehicle and one wasn't to be found anywhere. He had Ford make one and send it to him and then proceeded to do extra repairs free of charge as well as replace the battery again at no extra charge. They are trustworthy and well priced, if they need to move your vehicle to make room for a prior customer or let it sit for longer than usual, just know they are doing so for your advantage. Go here if you need something done with your car. They also provide state inspection.

Glenn s Does decent work but the time is takes to get the work done is really long. They are a busy shop and on several occasions it has taken weeks for me to get my car back:( The work is good but the shop is really busy.

I love Glenn s service. I have been going to them for almost 20 years now and really appreciate the time and effort that they put into keeping my cars on the road. The prices are fair and honest. And I ve never questioned or had reason to question repairs that they suggested for my cars.

Josh and his crew were able to fix my vehicle at a great price. I had a bad rack and pinion that was giving multiple error codes and causing driving issues. The car was done way sooner than I expected and hasn't had any issues since I got back 2 1/2 weeks ago.

I have been taking all my cars to Glen's since I moved to Plainfield and have never once felt misled by them or felt they recommended repairs that were not needed. There have been a few occasions where I brought my truck there expecting a pricey repair and they told me it turned out to be a cheap easy fix and only charged be a few dollars. Now that's what I call Honest..

Honest work. Honest people.Glenn and Josh are good old-fashioned car mechanics and I mean that in the best of ways. They never sell you on parts or service you don't need. They even tell me, "oh you can wait on that...you don't need it right away."They work quickly and efficiently and never over-charge me. I'm so glad I found them (through friends!). What a refreshing relief from the North Plainfield Nissan rip-off artists where I used to take my car.

Hones and Reliable Team. Glen, Josh and other mechanics are old school and that is definitely meant as a compliment. They are the only mechanics in the area that I trust. Prices are fair even for repairs on those German Vehicles which are always expensive for parts/repairs.You can also have your vehicle towed in if it is disabled after hours. There is a drop box for your car key and envelopes with pencils so that you can describe the reason for the tow or repair, what more can you ask for?

Knowledgeable mechanics, experienced and reasonably priced. They are courteous and respectful, never overbearing or condesending whether they are speaking to a male or female. They treat everyone with kindness and make sure you understand what is going on with your vehicle BEFORE you agree to have it fixed.

Reasonable repair price, fast service. Being used to dealer service bill, it's such a relief to pay lower bill than expected with the same end result! I'm glad I took my car to Glenn's.

I wouldn't take my vehicles and business anywhere else. You can rely on them to always provide the best work and service available and that's not easy to find when searching for car mechanics. I really appreciate it. Thanks Josh and Glenn!

Honest family owned service station, that can fix just about anything! They never try to upsell you and will keep you informed of what is going on with your automobile. If something may need repair in the future, they will advise you before it's too late
