I had a great experience at Pburg Auto Repair! Miguel fixed my car very quickly and took the time to explain the issue in detail. Extremely friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. I have never had such a positive experience at a repair shop, and I will absolutely be bringing my business here from now on!

Friendly staff that are honest and transparent. I stopped going to the dealership for service and probably won t ever again after witnessing (several times) the drastic difference in care and professionalism.

Our brakes went out while traveling. These guys were the only shop of the 4-5 we checked in town willing/able to help us the same day. The staff were friendly and helpful and had us back on the road in a few hours. Highly recommend.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!I have been a repeat customer and today I had my first issue with this business and I have to say it was bad enough that I will not be coming back nor recommending this business to anyone.I took my car in for rear brakes and an oil change. I spent more than $600 on the repairs.I received a coupon in the mail for $50 off any service over $450. I called them back when I noticed I got this in the mail, and spoke to the owner (Miguel). I explained to him I was just there a few hours ago to pickup my car and I had this coupon and asked if they can honor it.Now, I would expect the owner to honor it but instead said, "well you paid for it already so I can't honor it."WOW was I shocked! He went on to argue with me about honoring the coupon. He stated can't honor it because he is not a large corporation and it would be too hard for him to credit my card back $50. He goes on to say I should have presented the coupon before. I explained to him again, I just checked my mail. He stated "you should have checked it yesterday" ..... I couldn't believe this guy. I just spent over $600 with this business to be treated this way over $50 which they offered in a coupon.Maybe they shouldn't send out coupons if they can't honor them. If this business is willing to lose a loyal customer for $50, it makes me wonder how great of a place this was to begin with. True colors of people and businesses will come out in time and it sure did today with this place.To top it all off, I get in my car and there was black splatter marks on the drivers seat and console.All they had to do was credit my card back $50 OR provide me a $50 credit for future service. Instead they lost a loyal customer for the past few years. Talk about poor customer service from the owner.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Great experience every appointment I have. Being a new car owner I was worried about finding a trustworthy shop to service my car at. Their work and how they handle their business really keeps me coming back. They re responsive to email. Appointments are readily available. They are thorough when going over invoices and will answer any questions that you may present them.All are super friendly and really want the best for their customersServices: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I just want to share what a great experience we had here. We got a screw in our tire on the highway as we were passing through the area. Everyone went above and beyond helping us. They were very friendly, honest and professional. I would highly recommend them for any of your car care needs. Thank you!!!

I had a very good experience with P burg Auto Repair. My check engine light wasn t on but we knew something was wrong. They were able to diagnose the problem and make the repairs. I asked a lot of questions and they graciously answered all of them. My vehicle is running better than ever and I am confident that if anything happens down the line, this team will be able to figure it out and get it fixed.

For the second time, the folks at Pburg Auto Repair came through for me. Both times, they took in my car on the spur of the moment, diagnosed and fixed the problems for me on the same day, saving me from missing work or breaking down somewhere. Each time they were courteous, personable, knowledgeable and caring. A few weeks ago my timing belt broke. Having a older vehicle made it quite the repair challenge. However my car was repaired with the engine saved. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and reassurance I received. Thankyou to the Office Mgr Linda who kept me updated daily. Manuel - you are the best! Thanks for not leaving me stranded! You have a lifetime customer!

At the time you walk in, you are warmly greeted by Linda who welcomes you into the spotless shop. She could not be more nice as she explains everything to you. Miguel, the owner, goes above and beyond to accommodate and to ensure everything is done up to your standards. He takes great pride in his work and it really shows. I would recommend this shop to anyone. A lot of mechanic shops make you feel like you are being cheated and gouged but not here. Prices are fair and you leave feeling like you're family. This place came recommended from a neighbor. I have no complaints. My 1st time coming was for to have a few things looked over on my vehicle. The handsome yg man looked my vehicle over. Told me & showed me I was gd to go. I also had an oil change. The receptionists was nice & friendly. A little more than what I paid for from someplace else. But hey...I was in & out within 25 minutes. Thanks Pburg Auto.

Went there for speed sensor, in which I was able to leave my vehicle with no issues and confirmed the work to be completed. The following day they told me he wouldn't do the work unless he can diagnose other issues. They charged me 600 for 2 front wheel bearings that was supposedly put in wrong and to diagnose why my tail lights stayed on. No parts where replaced, and my original request for a speed sensor was never completed ,all in all I paid for something I didn't request I'd think twice about this place very sketchy. I still have the receipt.Service: Auto maintenance

I will recommend to my family to go to Pburg Auto whenever they have a problem with their vehicle.and need repairs. I am glad I found mechanics I can trust. Great service,and quality workis the best. All the mechanics are outstanding professionals...The staff is friendly and Linda the office manager has a friendly personality. Kudos to the business that stands out among all other mechanic business. There is no other place that can be compared.Service: Brakes

Miguel and Linda have been very honest and upfront with me with Any questions or concerns I have regarding service needs or possibly needed in the future for my 2011. I trust and rely on there knowledge with deciding to trade in or keep this vehicle.

I saw they had great reviews and I was in need of a wheel alignment. My oil change place also recommended them. Very busy place always a good sign.In addition to the alignment I was concerned about a noise, Miguel the owner took the time to show me the sway bar needed to be replaced. Very professional and reasonably priced.

JAN 2020: This a modern shop of 2020, I never felt misinformed nor overquoted with the price. First off I never got a chance to meet anyone but they provide services no matter what your availability. I dropped my car over night and was greeted with text message updates, estimates and pictures of everything they were doing. Also Kathy in the office helped answer all my questions and more she is awesome. Would definitely go back had my control arms, rear brakes and a tune up completed great job and awesome 2 yr 24000 mile warranty.August 2020: I had to get extensive work on my car from when Pburg told me from my visit in January. Absolutely fitting Linda/Jeremy are an excellent team to help me through the extensive process that I needed. They are always welcoming and ensured me that they would do there absolute best for me, even through the unknowns. I can honestly say I found my shop for all my repairs because they are so awesome from the diagnosis, quote and customer service. They are beyond 5 stars and I recommend them to anyone best shop I have ever been to.

I've always had an excellent experience here through two different cars I've had serviced. most recently, my 2015 Malibu needed 4 new tires, an alignment, and an oil change. Miguel and crew were able to turn it around in less than 24 hours. Great service and great work!!!

Seriously people you have to be stupid to go here. They charge INSANE prices right off the bat and charge you for estimates. Most car repair shops won't charge u for an estimate it's ridiculous. Then they keep adding hidden charges "oh we had to add 50 for doing this and an extra 20 for doing that" I swear to God I hate dishonest mechanics and these are DEFINITELY that!!! WAY better places in the area take the time to CALL OTHER PLACES FOR PRICES AND LOOK AROUND!I was asked by the staff or owner to remove my review???? Absolutely not I stand by my review and I could put way worse. The reason you can't find my name in your database is because for one, this is not my first and last name, and also it's not in my name it's in a family members name, but it was my car worked on.

We have been with them since the early days when they first opened. They were the only ones to fix a recurring problem that went through 2 other local shops before proper diagnosis and repair by Pburg Auto. The friendly staff makes you feel like family. They have great prices when compared to the dealerships locally. My savings over dealer prices are great. Keep up the great work.

I brought my van in today because I was concerned with a noise that it was making. Luckily the issue wasn t as bad as I thought it was, but the care of Miguel was above and beyond. I highly recommend P-Burg Auto Repair. They will go above and beyond each time. I will continue to support them when I need service for my vehicle.

I cannot say enough good things about P'Burg Auto Repair. I just got my brakes and rotors done and they work perfectly and were so reasonably priced. But the kicker is tonight, my husband noticed one of my tires was showing the thread and needed to be replaced quickly. It's a Sunday night, so I emailed them to get a price, thinking of course I would get a response on Monday. Nope, Miguel emailed me back quickly, and got me a quote tonight, which was amazing. I am bringing my car in tomorrow to be serviced. The professionalism ,and commitment to customer service is the best I have been privy to in quite a long while. We will continue to come back to P'Burg Auto Repair for our auto needs. I more than highly recommend them to everyone. Took my second car in for some work done in the stated time and done correctly at a great price. Thank you guys for the friendly service and great work. I'm sure will be back for anything we need. After the small issue with communication was resolved the experience was quite a bit more pleasant. They where able to handle the warranty company with for me and with just a little out of pocket to me. The work done is some of the best in phillipsburg as far as shops goes. The ower/ head mechanic even took the time to let my know about some of the smaller issues with the vehicle. The receptionist is a nice younger lady that is still very Intelligent and knowledgeable. The overall experience with this shop was very pleasant and helpful. I would strongly recommend this shop as for your vehicle issue.

I'm a ten years faithful customer! When looking for a trusted car repair mechanic this is the place to go. Never a problem with your auto that they can't find. Amazing customer service. Trust is my key word

I had to have my car towed in as it wouldn t start. Before having it towed in, I called the shop and spoke with Miguel. I told him i had a bad MAF and it could be the issue. Miguel was very professional and informed me that there could be other reasons as well. I told him i was having it towed in and he said he d take a look at it and let me know what s going on. He made me feel very comfortable and confident that my car would be in good hands. Miguel saw my entire experience through and i am very much satisfied. Not only did he fix my issue and got my car running again, he also notified me of other important repairs needed. Not to mention, i have a baby and i had no other way to get to the shop to pick up my car so Miguel personally delivered my car to my home. This made my life so much easier as both baby and i were sick.I really appreciate Miguel and the staff over at PBurg auto and i would highly recommend them for your repairs. They also have reasonable prices.

Went in for an alignment. The staff was friendly and the shop seemed well organized and clean. When the alignment was done I was told that I was good to go and handed the bill to pay. I paid and then asked for the printout of the before and after specs from the alignment. This was printed for me and when I looked the alignment was out of spec before and after. I questioned this and was told that my upper control arm was bad so they could not adjust the alignment. They quoted me a price to fix and when I asked about fixing it myself and having the alignment covered under warranty I was told probably not unless they do the work themselves (and up sell the part). Only then would they do the alignment for free under warranty. I will not use this shop again. If I had not asked about the specs I would have never known they could not adjust the alignment properly. In addition to that, why did they not tell me about this during the alignment when it was found and offer a solution then? Too many red flags here, my advice is to stay away.Also an update. Took my truck to a trusted shop and found the upper control arms on both sides to be fine. Would have replaced it for no reason at all if I would have listened to pburg auto. Stay away!

I cant speak more highly of this place. My car broke down by the side of the road halfway through a seven hour drive. After getting it towed, the Pburg team diagnosed the issue and arranged for it to be towed to a dealership for warranty-covered service - all free of charge. They also set me up with a rental so that I was back on the road in under an hour. The Pburg folks are compassionate and professional, and they made a stressful situation infinitely better. Thank you Pburg!!
