1st time having Judy work on my car. Extremely happy with the service, Judy goes above and beyond and is fair and honest on work to be done. Will definitely be our family's new mechanic, so glad I found her. Highly recommend.

Judy and her guys are examples of what real mechanics should be. I went to Judy a few years ago and won't go anywhere else since the first time I walked into her shop. Not only is she incredibly professional, knowledgeable and honest but genuine, friendly and extremely thorough. I like to work on my own car but naturally there are limitations when you're a hobbyist. Judy and her team provide excellent service and are sincerely helpful. I'm so happy I walked in there that day and I won't go anywhere else as long as Judy's is open!

I went looking for a local auto mechanic a few years ago and found Judy's Auto Repair. I was impressed from my first visit and I now take both my car and my wife's car there ever since. As a car owner for almost 50 years I've had my share of automobile repair facilities with problems and overcharging. Not so at Judy's. She is a great mechanic and has always been honest and fair. I am not one to write reviews, but the absolutely exceptional service that Judy has provided to me over the last week needs to be noted. Some people will say that its hard to find a mechanic that you can trust. Unfortunately, I personally dealt with that issue over the last month. Due to this, I needed to find a new place to go and due to her good reviews, I called Judy for an issue I was having regarding some noises I was hearing while turning left. It turned out to be that the backing plate was bent and touching the rotor. While she was unable to 100% say with certainty that this was causing the issue because naturally I couldn't replicate the sound while showing her my car, she adjusted the backing plate and my car hasn't been making the same noises since. She didn't charge me because she couldn't be certain that the issue was fixed. Thankfully, it does seem to be so! Fast forward a week and my AC started making a odd noise while on high AND I started hearing rattling under my hood while going fast, both in the same day. I brought my car in to Judy again and it turned out that a leaf was causing the odd sound with my AC. It also turned out that some of the fasteners under my hood were likely not tightened property during my last oil change and were missing. She replaced them and tightened everything. I came back to pick my car up and once again, there was no charge. With two opportunities, Judy could have told me that something needed replacing when it really didn't. With two opportunities, Judy could have reasonably charged me a small amount for the small time she took on figuring out the things that were wrong. Due to her honesty and generosity, Judy gained a customer for all of my automotive work moving forward. I hope that people will see this review and strongly consider Judy's Auto Repair for all of their automotive needs!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Air conditioning

My wife was driving through on a road trip and had some car issues. I found Judy s Auto Repair for her online and she stopped by; Judy checked out her car, gave it a test drive, and got her back on the road in no time. She was professional, well-informed, and trustworthy. Highly recommend!

Judy and her crew are amazing. I've been going to Judy for my car needs for over a decade and not once has she steered me wrong. Through out the entirety of the time I drove a gas vehicle she took care of my timely oil changes and any maintenance those cars needed. And now that I drive an EV I still trust her with all my tire needs and eventual needs I will have once my warranties are expired. I could not have asked the Universe for a better mechanic! Thank you for everything!

Fair prices and quality work.Had an issue with my front tire and brought it to Judy. Her and her team diagnosed it quickly, found the cheapest replacement part and repaired it the same day. She also found an issue in the back wheel that was fixed as well. Will definitely be a returning customer.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I was very pleased with Judy's garage. I needed my car back the same day and she made that happen. Didn't have me paying for extra things I didn't need and it wasn't expensive at all for what needed to be done. Will definitely be going back here for future issues.

I visited Judy's for the first time. My Kia Rondo's break & battery light were on. My mechanic could not fit me into his schedule. Called Judy & she told me she would wait for me. An alternator & battery was needed, Judy and her crew did a great job, which I am very happy with. She is now my (go-to) auto technician. She took care of my car in time for me to make it to my mom's 90th birthday.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

If you are a woman you need to go to Judy! If you have been taken advantage of by other repair shops you need to go to Judy!Judy took a look at my axle and determined that it was the strut that a chain auto repair company put in 2 years ago, and should still be under warranty. Another chain claimed it was a faulty axle causing driving problems with my car - a $1400 bill. Judy examined it and said I missed the oil hole in the engine.Services: Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection

I have been going to Judy's for almost 2 years as I purchased a new used car and needed a mechanic. She is a honest,professional and just an amazing person in general. She is good at what she does and I highly recommend her for all your cars needs. Thank you Judy for taking care of my car

Judy has been our mechanic for a few years. We took our Chevy Equinox there that had been sitting for about 6 months bc it wasnt starting. We towed it there & was expecting a big bill like a few hundred or a thousand dollars :( Judy looked at the truck for us for about 2 days & told us it was only fuse! She could have easily charged us alot & fed us some bs about what it needed but she didnt. She was honest & upfront about it.We've taken all of our cars there.The same truck needs some work done bc the air conditioner is leaking behind the dash. It wont be a light bill but of course we're gonna get it done by Judy! Not only did she show us that integrity is important to her, but she does damn good work! Hence why shes so busy.Its a good feeling to know that we can rest easy knowing that any money spent is well invested.

Excellent in every way!! The thermostat on my car went and my check engine light came on. She not only fixed the problem but used dealer parts and fixed it the same day. I am very picky with my car and she fixed it like a super hero. Girl Power! Judy is the best and will have all of my business!!! She explained everything to me. That s called excellent service!! Great prices!!!

I've been a customer for approx. 13 years. Eleven of those years I lived in Florida but I now live in Delaware. That's right, I'm a Jersey boy so My wife & I made a few trips yearly to visit. I managed to time most of my service & repairs to coincide with my trips. I rarely allow anyone but Judy's auto repair to work on my car.I won't bother you with many details but want to relay my most recent visit just this past Monday. I was scheduled for a four wheel brake job. Shortly after leaving my car, Judy called me to say I did not need a brake job & estimated that my brakes would last another 15-20 thousand miles. Wow, I have been told many times that I falsely needed a repair, but was never told I did not need it. BTW, her price was $40. less than what a friend offered & I paid with a Credit Card. Also, be mindful that Judy blocked out 4 hours (incl. oil change) that could have been used for other customers. The biggest difference is that you don't deal with the manager, no, you deal directly with the OWNER.I rarely ever recommend a vendor but this is an exception. I strongly recommend Judy's Auto Repair for obvious reasons. Its nothing fancy; very simple; bare bones but EXCEPTIONAL. I don"t see Judy & her mechanic Vinnie as just auto repair tech & the owner. I see them as friends.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Judy is a great person over all to know. Her workmanship with automobiles and customers satisfaction stands to be one of the highest. Judy is very trust worthy with every job she does. It's nice to be able to have your vehicals worked on knowing the job is getting done. I've recommended to many for garage and mechanical needs to see Judy. Three of my vehicles ranging from 2019-14 and a 04 which Judy keeps my family running.Thanks you Judy.

Brought my Jeep there for leaks. Judy found a safety issue that needed to be welded. She told me that she could do it if needed but referred me to another place that could do a better job. That showed me that she was honest and not just about making money. She even called me to see how it went. Then when I went back to have the leaks repaired, they were done when she said they would be and the cost was just what she quoted. Excellent customer service and good work at a good price. Highly recommended.

Judy has been my mechanic for 15+ years: she's no-nonsense, extremely good at what she does, and she is a genuine and honest person. As a woman, I've been played by more than a few mechanics, but I know I can trust her to give me a straight answer and not inflate the bill with repairs I don't need. As long as I live in this area, I won't take my cars to anyone else.

Judy is honest and helpful, I really appreciate the time she takes to explain what's going on with your car and give you high/low options to fix. Great all-around mechanic and alternative to pricier dealership service centers locally.

Brought my vehicle in for maintenance a few weeks ago, Judy was extremely rude. Poor customer service, made me feel like the issues were my fault, spoke very demeaning to my wife. I would not recommend her services.

Great garage in Phillipsburg. Trustworthy and does great quality work. Had my center support carrier bearing and my front wheel bearing replaced. My truck is running better than it ever has and will continue taking it back for service. Thanks for everything.
