Been coming to these guys for 6 or7 years. Never had an issue until recently.Last two times though I felt they were off. First thing was that they told my wife they couldn t reset the oil life gauge because it was too early to reset . A quick google/youtube video and I had it reset in 10 seconds.Second issue is that I wanted to get my brakes done. Stopped by twice and called a few times. Every time They said they d call me back with a quote and didn t. I tried giving them business for 3 months straight before I went to someone else.I guess turning down business is a good problem to have. Maybe when they have more workers or less work I ll come back

Guys, before you do the service here please read it!!! It is not worth of your time. I came here to fix a tire and the jack was installed not in the right spot so the technician just damaged the the metal where the jack goes.But this is not the worst. The owner/manager just told me that I was a trouble and I had to go somewhere else, having said they did not damage anything. I am not a boy but, come on, just stop lying, admit the mistake. It happens. But the attitude can no be forgiven.Look at some photos and just decide for yourself if you want your car to be like that and if you want to be treated like that.It is not 1 star, it is ZERO!

I've used them for the passed couple years and loved them for tire emergencies but two times now I've called last week and a week ago and he says he's going to check the inventory and call back... and doesn't call back... so I guess I won't be going there anymore.

I had an alignment done and was told that one of the control arms is faulty and needs to be replaced. The cost of the control arm is 240, and the labor cost is 140. However, when the control arm was replaced, I was told that the labor cost is 360. I'm not very satisfied with this ratio.

Yea, this place will rip people off sometimes, when the other brother ran things the work was honest. When he left, I thought things were still good there. Bought rims from them, got them installed by them to then recieve my steering wheel completely out of its position. I didn t give my car like that!? So when I asked why was my steering wheel completely shifted, I was told now I need a wheel alignment too. Extra $100 which I knew they were ripping me off but I didn t want to drive with a crooked steering wheel. So I paid it! Spoke to another mechanic in town who told me, yea they lied to you and made your steering wheel out of alignment on purpose to get your extra $100. So save your money and avoid. (Because I can t comment back to the business, I say it here) Two brothers worked there and one of them did honest work, he owned a fire mustang gray. Now you can play stupid but that s information that only someone who went to your location often would know. When that brother with the mustang left, and the other brother took over. Prices and shady work started. Good mechanic shops are rare, it only takes one time to screw over a customer to lose them forever. And when others ask. I went to Rodriguez Tire Service for the first time and it won't be the last. From the time I walked in to get two tires repaired to the time I walked out the expireance was awesome, these guys are true professional.

This people literally stolen my money. I took my car for alignment and they didn t do nothing at all. They said they did the alignment but a few days later I took my car to the dealership service center and they said the wasn t aligned at all.I don t understand why people tend to rip-off other people s money.You should think twice before taking your car to this place.Service: Tires

I've been doing business with RTS for over 15 years. The honesty, professionalism, workmanship, and fair pricing has taken me from a customer to a permanent loyal client. All of our family's vehicles are serviced by RTS. We travel, from Howell to Perth Amboy, for our mechanical repairs and tire replacements/repairs. I highly recommend Rodriguez Tire Service.

Place is family owned and the 2 brothers that run it have been there since they were kids. They are extremely professional and have always done right with all my vehicles. They are not out to rip anyone off. They give you all the info on what's wrong with your vehicle and are willing to work with you on giving you the most affordable options. I have been coming here for years and highly recommend them.

Dropped off the car for a break check up and a ball joint replacement. They said they would look at it next day. While I never received a call I stopped next day to check on status and they told me they never got to the car due to a bunch of excuses. The next day they call me with the breakdown. They where charging me 502 I told them to give me a different quote with cheaper parts. He calls me back saying that now it would be 570. After going back and forth he confessed to made a mistake charging for double parts....I tell them to go ahead with the repairs. Next day I called around mid day to check status and they tell me it will be done by the end of the day around 3:30. I get get a called around 4 and they are telling me that they were delivered the wrong part 2 times and now I have to wait another day. I got all the excuses in the book.....but they were only a reflection of the poor level of business and they were not interested in costumer satisfaction. It was only 2 hours worth of work turned in to 3 days of inconvenience all due to inappropriate handling of business.

Amazing service. My car was in a really bad shape. They worked on it and in less than 3 days I had my car back and running. No more burnt smell and no more weird noises. I've had three cars serviced by these guys. They are fair and knowledgeable. I haven't felt that they've provided any unnecessary work and they've even let me know which repairs are needed now, and which repairs I can hold off on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic and tire shop

I had ONE tire that went flat. I went to this place hoping it can be fixed. They told me it was impossible to fix, and that I actually needed to purchase 2 tires. Me being a female with 0 knowledge of cars, I went with it and purchased 2 tires from them. My car wasn t even 2 years old and had the original factory tires.Not too long after, a different tire went flat, and I took it to another location. They fixed the tire, and I only paid $11. Moral of the story - Rodriguez is a rip off, and if you re a female, they will try to get the most money out of you by telling you it can t be fixed!!!Service: Tires

Got the tires I wanted at the cheapest price around. They didn't initially have them: the Continental true contacts. GIL ordered it for me and told me they'd be in next day. Next day I changed all 4 tires for about $200 less than the dealer and about $28 less than nearby competitors.

A huge thank you to Rodriquez Tires! Being new to the area, I had to take a chance on choosing a new shop to service my car. Rodriquez conveniently replaced a wheel bearing and hub assembly the same day that I called. Gil was honest and trustworthy, providing high-level professionalism, without pressure and at a reasonable price.

Seriously the best tire shop in central jersey. They get straight to the point, never charge for anything unnecessary, and explain everything you need to know. I ve gone here for many years with different cars and i ve never had an issue with their repairs or work. Like others have said, this isn t your normal Perth Amboy repair shop, give them a try if your in the area.

Always have given me great prices for high quality tires. The tires have always been new which I check by looking on manufacture date printed on all tires. They also work with you to get you the most bang for your buck on both longevity and warranty.

Professional and they can beat any price. I paid less for tires than Sears were offering. For those bad reviews that paid $300 for tensioner that's the cost for good service, dealers charge $400 plus, I say you got a deal! This isn't your typical Amboy corner shop, is what all the bad reviews are about. You pay for quality service here, you do pay more but.... you pay for what you get, great service.

The only place that took me the same day when I called with an emergency tire situation. I needed 4 brand new tires. They went and picked up the 4 tires I needed on the spot. I ad already called my dealership who i loyally go to for service and several other local places who all turned me down because they were too booked. I have decided to make this place my #1 spot for car repairs.

Will and Gill are great they helped me with my flat tire and i bought new tires from them. Good and cheap. A place that stands behind their work, not many places are like that.
