They were really quick to take me in and fix my issue to get my car ready for work for the week. The shop was really clean and I was really satisfied with the work, however I wasn t exactly pleased with the customer service and overall sarcastic behavior Chip displays to his customers.I spent quite a bit of money that I wasn t expecting to, to fix my car and when I asked him what exactly was done he sarcastically replied what s on the paper (invoice). I don t argue with 70 year old men and given my prior automotive experience I knew the parts and priced matched. Just would ve been nice to hear an explanation as to why I m about to hand you my hard earned money.If you re not keen on being respected personally, then I highly recommend this place.

Driving through town for work and the fuel pump failed. Called around and the only place available was Chip s Auto center. They came and towed the car on a flatbed promptly, pulled the car into the shop immediately and began the repairs. All is good now back on the road for work and down the road for the next load. Chip and his guys are top notch, friendly and professional. Strongly recommend them for all your maintenance and repair needs!!!

I like this place, Never had a problem coming into this shop. Chips an awesome person and always greets me with a smile. I bring my 2018 Ford Fiesta here for oil changes and tune ups.I Highly Recommend

Chip is AMAZING. He genuinely cares about his customers and reputation. Yes, he s direct and can be sarcastic, but he is not rude by any means. He s just old-school. He s been doing great business for a very long time!

Chip took my truck in for an oil change on the day I called. We set up a repair for the next day because the truck needed a mass air flow sensor. Chip called when the truck was available and things were right the first time. His price is fair as well. I'll be back.

I was a customers for 5 years until he showed me my true colors . You can drop you car off but God forbid you call asking any questions. Chip becomes rude arrogant and shows racism towards me. He acted like he couldn't remember my phone number after servicing several cars and even referrals over a five year time. He screams and yells when you question him and I will never refer my kind to him again cause he says "I have been in business long enough to not need your business". Arrogant rude small town and he truly don't give a dam

Overcharges customers.Back in August of this year I woke up to a nail on my tire. I went to chips to have it plugged. A nice older gentlemen took care of it quickly, and I made sure to tip him $5. Chip charged me $10 cash.Today, I woke up to another mail in my tire. Remembering Chips was right there on my way, and the previous charge, I went again. The tire was taken care of and my keys handed back to me.As Chip say in his office I heard you re done and when I looked up he was sitting in his office chair, which is a separate room back behind the main counter, and he just held his hand out.So me as a customer has to get up and walk to him which is not good customer service in the first place. Then he says $25 . To which I replied oh dang, it was $10 last time .All he said in reply was okay Bad business manners directly from the owner. I never got a receipt, and thank you, a have a nice day. Pretty much felt like I was bothering him with my business.10/10 would not recommend.

Really helped in a bind my moms car needed a new starter and I was so fearful it wouldn t be done in time and it would be expensive, but the car was ready within 2 days and cheaper than anticipated. Would go back again

I was the New girl in Town and did not know anyone. I needed an oil change so on a whim I stopped at Chip's Auto. They were kind understanding and courteous. Then I got an opportunity to meet Chip... Super nice Man... The entire crew there are just awesome. Thank you Chip and crew. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place to anyone.Service: Oil change

Brought my 2021 Trailblazer in for tire repair minutes before closing. Was worried i wouldnt be able to get it in anywhere before having to go to work the next morning. Chips auto helped me out minutes before they were closing with a great price too.

I personally won t bring any of my vehicles here. My mom brought her 2007 Nissan xterra for a whole rear end and they charged her $2,000 and this is what we get in return on the passenger side. No ebrake hardware and it s missing a stud, they also never let her know what was wrong with the truck when she brought it back again for a bearing, they just replaced it and charged her $800. So since I ve been doing the work myself at the salem county votech. Did a $200 bearing for free because it was only 4 bolts.

Chip and his crew really saved me this past weekend. I broke down on the turnpike a few miles away and was able to get my car to him and fixed in just a day. I then accidentally left the spare key and he was so kind to send it back to me. He has been so helpful and gone above and beyond to help us out. Reasonable price and fixed what was wrong. Highly recommend !

Old white guy with the glasses in the back office is ignorant didn t greet me as I walked in & when I spoke to him, he just stared at me. It s 2023, but some people still stuck in the past. Walked right out they don t deserve my money !!

Good mechanic friendly helpful workers, sells cars also.I had a flat tire with a long screw that went into my tire a man named Rich who worked there took care of my tire patched it fixed it good as new tremendously friendly kind and professional

I don't know if the repair was expensive or not(felt like it to me), but it needed to be done and it wasn't my money(daughter's car). The people where nice and pleasant and it only took a day for them to fix it so... if we use them again and my experience changes I will rate again.

This is my second time coming here and that elderly man at the desk is so unprofessional when it comes to asking questions, he seems to get so offended if you question him, I m sure the age is getting to him or something

What a save!!! Five of us driving down to North Carolina for a golf weekend today and we broke down. Chip and the guys got us back on the road in about an hour! New hose and hose clamp and good to go. Great job fellas! Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Chip is a great guy. He's also a super good mechanic. He's always done great work on my autos and given excellent advice. Plan on spending a little more than usual for large projects because, he always uses the highest quality parts and spends the time to do the job right, the FIRST time which, he will tell you saves you money in the long-run. He is right. Thanks Chip for all you do including making me laugh.

I've used Chip's twice now. The first time was for my brakes and the second time was a battery issue and my oil. I absolutely love this shop. They are quick, but will take the time to explain what's going on with your car. I also thought the cost was reasonable. I trust the work they do and this has definitely become my go to shop!

Great people here. Chip told me my car would be done by 1 and the price and it was done by and no extra costs. Had another issue a couple days later and again he was able to get it in the next day and out the same day. Highly recommend this place if you need any work done on your vehicle.

Chip came to my rescue when I blew a tire on my way to work. It was around 7:30 pm - he was kind enough to take me straight home from the tow since I didnt have a ride. By 11:00 the next morning, I had a new set of tires at a very reasonable price. His assistant, Colleen, even picked me up so I didnt have to get a ride to his shop. Great service, nice people.

Chip has been in business for years. Known him before Riverview Ford changed names. He runs one of the cleanest shops I've ever seen and he takes pride in the same. He's honest and will go out of his way if he can. He gets real busy so call ahead.

Fast, friendly service. I'm an out of towner and they got me in asap and got me going in a hurry. Made sure my car was good and safe to continue on long road trip.

Chip has always been very helpful with my Fiance's uncle Billy also my future father in law Howard, my fianc� and myself! He has always been fair with his prices and very respectful to all of us! Never had a problem after his staff work on any of our vehicles!

Car broke down on NJ Turnpike. I was able to just get it off the highway and call AAA. Chip s came and towed my vehicle and gave me the use of one of his shop vehicles since I was stuck there with my family on our way to Disney World. Got a new alternator in for me with a quick turnaround and had is back on the road. Awesome friendly service!

Me and my Uncle went to look at some used car's he was selling outside and then I was interested in one and I went inside and asked about a car and Chip himself was rude from the get go! He has a attitude and that's not professional at all I'm not sure if he does good work or not but I didn't like his attitude so me and my Uncle left and I found a car elsewhere.

Was passing through town when the engine of my SUV overheated. The mechanic who helped out was polite and respectful. He looked over the engine, advised on some potential issues, and filled the coolant reservoir. No charge.
