Owner is rude. They don t do what they say they will. Such as giving you a call when the tow truck is on its way. They have a nice cozy relationship with local police. Cars in an accident get towed to them and their fees for towing and daily storage are a ripoff. The driver who dropped off my car said he didn t even know why my car had to be towed out of Craig s auto shop lot since it is drivable. My only assumption is Craig wanted to collect more money by insisting on an unnecessary charge. Avoid this place!

Craigs auto repair has never let me down as a customer for 17 years this should tell you something about his service and expertise. I have had 8 types of autos and trucks repaired on the first visit. The vehicle s ranged from 1994 to 2019 so you can see a wealth of knowledge and experience.His value per dollar is incredible. All I can say is give his shop a shot and you will become a loyal customer as I am.

They helped us out of a tough situation. My daughter's old car broke down on the side of the road. They towed it and fixed it and charged fair prices. It took a few days because the place is popular.

I got referred to Craig's Auto by a friend several years ago. Nothing but good honest work and a good price. Very knowledgeable and will not send you out in a dangerous vehicle. Craig and his whole group are top notch. I've taken my wife's 02 trailblazer there for AC leak. My 08 lifted Tacoma there after Highway tire screwd it up and 2011 GMC terrain too. They do it all and do it right.

Car broke down, called my insurance company who called Craig s auto. Tow truck was there in under 30 minutes. After inspection of the problem it s been determined I need a new motor as the old one locked up. The guys explained the process of utilizing my warranty and assured me my car will be good as new. Still waiting on completion but I have faith in their ability to get it done right!

I've been taking my vehicle to Craig's for about the last year. I have an older vehicle, high miles, so, of course, it needs regular maintenance. I find the owner, Craig, as well as the staff that I've met so far, to be knowledgeable, friendly and fair. I haven't had any issues with any of the work performed, nor with the pricing. And they've been very accommodating with scheduling... I only have one vehicle, so I can't afford to leave it for days. When I've called ahead and scheduled a time, they've been able to make it work. I'm very happy with Craig's, and will continue to use them for all my repair and maintenance needs.UPDATE: Five years, still nothing but good things to say about Craig s! My Jeep now has over 450,000 miles on it, and still rides like a new vehicle, thanks to these guys I just had four new tires put on and cats replaced, and wow Thank you guys!

This Shop is amazing the staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly, more than once they ve been to my rescue when my Volvo has given me trouble. No one ever wants to need a tow, especially after a car accident, but when you do, it s nice to have the help of a friendly tow truck driver like I had from Craig s.

My hubby is our family mechanic and he has just suffered a really bad stroke. He was in the middle of installing a new gear shift cable and he had been waiting for the cold weather to break to start lots of other repairs. O2 sensors, emergency break, Y pipe and cat. The list goes on. I was literally praying as I drove to the hospital to see him. Car actually wouldn't start again when we stopped to get his meds a few days after his release. I didn't know what to do. I had to let my son take our other car to college just in case he needed to get home quick. A friend gets their work done at Craig's so I took the car there. They were great. They knew I was pretty much fried by the time we got to their shop. They had the car for a week and fixed everything. They knew I needed the car by a certain date because of medical appts at specialists. Craig and Louie called constantly to let me know what was happening. When the car wasn't going to be ready on time because the wrong parts got delivered they made sure I had a car to get the hubby to the Dr's that day. I have been driving the car for the last 10 days grateful for the newly developed sense of safety and confidence I have when behind the wheel. I have enough to worry about but now the car isn't part of it. I have assisted in enough of my share of car repairs that I had a good idea of what the cost was going to run and the bill was what i expected. Craig's Auto has the most unprofessional tow truck driver I have ever seen. I gave specific instructions to my insurance company that I would be driving from my home to where my other disabled vehicle was in order to have it towed. When the driver called me I told him I was enroute. He immediately got combative and told me he wasn't waiting he was going to get something to eat. I told him that was fine. I told him the insurance company told me the tow truck would arrive in an hour which gave me enough time to meet the driver from my home. It's not my problem he arrived 5 minutes after I got off the phone with my insurance company. When I arrived to meet the tow truck driver he yelled in my face about me costing him $200 because he had to wait 20 minutes. I believed he would have taken a swing at me had I said anything back to him. On the phone he told me he would use the 20 minutes he had to wait to eat but in person he yelled at me about costing him money. I told my insurance company to never use their service again for any of their insurance customers, and I am telling anyone that is reading this review to use another tow truck company. Worst service ever.

Absolutely terrible customer service, the "gentleman" who answered the phone was extremely rude. Outrageous prices for a tow truck. Was told that it cost a minimum of $350 for the tow truck to come out. I don't understand how they stay in business with those prices. Previous times I have had to get a tow truck (not this company) have all cost below $100. They don't provide a price quote until after they have done the work so you are obligated to pay. Has to be pocketing money, no way it can realistically cost that much. The company will say it's because of how far away it was. The vehicle was stuck in sand in the state park on the other side of Pemberton/Browns Mills. It took the tow truck less then 30 minutes to arrive (perhaps the only positive thing to say about this company), pulled the stuck vehicle two feet, and then charged more then $350 for the "work". I would also like to note that the stuck vehicle was approx 30 seconds from the paved road so Craig's Auto Inc cannot claim that the ridiculous charge was due to the vehicle being "far out in the woods". I am both surprised and outraged and will certainly never use this company again even if it is the only option and would advise other people to avoid using them as well.*Would give 0 stars if possible.

Extremely pleased with service. After calling roadside assistance, The individual (tow truck driver) responded quickly. At arrival, handled situation with professionalism, & extensive knowledge in work. Through route to drop off destination, kept light conversation & made sure I had a vehicle to get back. Would recommend to anyone.

A+ Service. I have dealt with Craig's Auto for many years. I have never had a problem with their service. Craig bailed me out of a major issue with my car coming home from work one night and he got me in after still having tones of work in the shop and was able to get me going home within 2 hrs. saved me from having to spend the night sleeping in my car.

EXTREMLY RUDE and uninformative. After experiencing a tough enough day with my wife getting into a collision, my car was towed to their yard. Not by our choice, just the company used by the corrupt town. My wife talked with the woman for information. And was given little to no info besides they wouldn t work on it and how much it cost to have it there per day. She was given a ride home (2 hours away!) at which point she called aaa to have to towed closer to home. Calls them to keep them informed and was told they wouldn t give the car to aaa without the copy of police release. Refused to accept an emailed copy. So up I drove (another 2 hours!) to provide the copy and pay the fees. I wore a mask. But when I was told I had to pay in person for aaa I tried to unlock my phone (Face ID) to check which account to use. The man yelled and tried to kick me out of the office for literally dropping my mask for less than a second. When I explained it s how my phone unlocks I was met with more rude talk and told I d have to get out of his office to unlock my phone. Rude people! Will never recommend them. If we were told about that paperwork when my wife first called she wouldn t have left without providing it. And wow! Such rude people

It took longer than estimated time to get my vehicle back for engine replacement. My air conditioner never worked right after my car was finished. They were not able to successfully repair A/C , which there was working properly when I brought my car in for engine replacement.

My truck broke down on the road Friday the 24th of August. My roadside assistance contacted Craig's auto, the tow truck operator was a good guy and he talked me into having it towed into the shop. Well, somehow my fuel tank loaded with water. At this time my monetary situation is really awful to where I'm just scraping by with nothing extra. After I talked with Craig the owner he assured me that he would take a look at it and work with me on my monetary situation. Well, he was a man of his word, and you need more mechanics that are men/women of their word and trustworthy. Any problems going forward that I have with my vehicles that I cannot fix myself, I will be sending them to Craig's. Seeing the bad reviews turned me off a little bit, but the more I spoke with the man the more knowledgeable and comfortable he made me feel. If you need something done and you are in the pemberton, Columbus, Vincentown area Craig's auto is the place to go where you won't get jerked around by some mechanic that's trying to rip you off. The bad reviews are probably from people who are nasty themselves and to get respect you have to show some. Bottom line Craig is a good guy.

Great Garage. I was down and out on the side of the road. They came out in 10 minutes, provided a tow, got my truck back on the road fast !! highly recommend Craig's fast friendly service.

I would give 0 stars if I could just because of how rude the lady was to my husband and I. I will never go here again and certainly would not recommend this hell hole to anyone I care about. How can you be that nasty to someone who was never rude to you?? Im am beyond upset about how they made me wait for a simple letter for over a week, said they would definitely write it and then got an attitude lied to us and hung up. Good job lady!!!

Been calling around to have an out of state emissions inspection done. Craig's wasn't the most expensive I found, but was still overpriced for a simple 5-10 minute inspection. I recommend looking elsewhere, because if they are overcharging for this, I wonder what else is overpriced ...

My alternator broke down and Craig said he could perform necessary work for my GM parts Lotus. A week later, nothing was done and he wouldn t let my car go until he was paid $275 to tell me as much after doing nothing else.

Had an accident and my car was towed here. They kept me in the loop until my insurance picked it up. They gave me great information about body shops to have it fixed. Staff was friendly.
