Been going here with my dad since I was a kid. Now I get my car fixed here. Your first time here, you may have difficult time figuring out where to go and where to put your car since the parking lot situation can be tight, and there is no formal entrance; but they do an effective job for a good price. You'll become more familiar with the process the more you go here.

Bill is an exceptionally intelligent man with tremendous knowledge of his craft. He's not only an excellent mechanic, he's an incredible human being. Took my car to a local mechanic and when I got it back, it was running worse than when I brought it in. A friend suggested that I bring it to BK, so I did. Bill got into my car and within minutes replaced a part, told me to take it for a ride and let him know how it's running. It ran better than when I purchased it used. The price for the repair was insanely reasonable. LORD willing, Bill will be around for the rest of my car driving days. I'll never go anywhere else. God Bless Bill.

If you read the other comments, you'll see that Bill is a skilled mechanic & kind person. HOWEVER, if you're planning to drop off your car, you should make an appointment. If you can't reach him by phone, stop by early in the week and ask what day he might be able to work on your car. Fridays seem very busy, so I wouldn't recommend bringing your car in then. There's no guarantee on quick turnaround time, it depends on the size of the job & volume of other cars. Bill's normally a quiet guy who will treat you with respect, so if you happen to hear him raise his voice, it's probably because of the nonsense he encounters in customers. Don't be one of those rude customers--for the sake of Bill, his employees/business, and his family.

Bill is honest to goodness one of the best people I've had the pleasure of knowing. A top notch mechanic, on top of that his helper Tommy is one of the most skilled and ingenious mechanics around, a man with a god given gift. Go by BK Auto, these guys give Paterson a good name and show that there are still some real mechanics around!

Hi Family. MR. BOB'S!!! One of the nicest people! Straight forward. Kind. Listens when your talking. Will tell you what's wrong and give you honest solutions to the problems. YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE YOUR GETTING "SHAFTED"!!!!!!! . A really nice man. Hard working, stays late to finish jobs. The crew is cool too. When you go. Do go. Tell him the "WALKERS" sent you. Rob, Marley and Sharon etc... Lol! .I wouldn't recommend Mr. Bob if he wasn't great. I've had nothing but positive experiences. Hope yours is as great!!!
