fool me once...fool me twice...no, not a third time...a customer that goes back every year to purchase tires (yes, once a year because I drive in average 50k miles/year) you think you get some respect and get the job done right...twice in the roll the tires were mounted without being balanced...how do I know? after experiencing the vibration at high speed, took the car to another place and it was confirmed that the wheels were not balanced...I forgave the first time...I forgave the second...there will be no third time...I'm taking my business someplace else.Without mentioning the air pressure...everytime they were not calibrated...one at 55psi the other at 25psi...really? is that difficult to properly calibrate the pressure to 32 to 35psi?...you get what you pay for.

All the gentlemen here are very helpful. Prices are reasonable and they get the job done and a reasonable amount of time. I think I've always got in my car back the same day or if I dropped it off overnight I got it back the next day. I recommend this place to anybody who needs any kind of tire issue addressed or even just a oil change.

I suddenly had a flat and came to this location based on the reviews and proximity. As I pulled up, all 5 gentlemen were very nice and welcoming. They showed me where I could sit In the waiting area. To my surprise, they determined it was a nail and it only cost me $29 to repair. Service was quick, fast, and efficient. The Manager was very personable and advised me that I needed to replace two tires which were worn, (I was vaguely aware because my dealer previously mentioned it when I had an oil change). The Manager was honest with his advice and professional and I would definitely go back again and refer people.

Excellent service, great prices, the staff works very efficiently. I went in thinking i was going to replace a tire but just needed to get a quick plug and i was on my way. I wouldn t go anywhere else to get my tires done.

When you aren't extraordinarily knowledgable about cars maintaining your vehicle can be a little intimidating, but not when you head into local spot Parlin discount! You go into a shop for a check tire light and fear you're going to be ripped off or taken advantage of, and these guys have never made me feel that way. They give me exactly what I need to keep me and my family safe, when I came in with some pretty scary looking tires I hadn't realized just how dangerous that could have been. Parlin discount had new tires for me in no time, will definitely be referring anyone who asks straight to them, thanks guys!

Called this tire place parlin discount tire to see if they had availability which they promptly said they did so i came down for my appointment and found that it was difficult to navigate where they were located at 3143 bordentown ave in parlin nj , that was the first of my issues, second when i did get there they did not have availability for me ended up leaving and coming back the following day after placing an order for 4 new tires which i was quoted at 450 for the tires, ended up costing me around 700 because they gave me a wrong quote. I decided on paying and doing an alighnment and when i received my sedan back i drove out of there and not a minute later my car was shaking very bad , i turned around and came back to them to find out they forgot to tighten my right rear tire!! Dangerous and unprofessional, i ended up driving home and noticed my rear bumper was scratched bad to the point it pealed a layer of paint off of the bumper. I highly recommend staying clear from this shop as its hard to find, and unprofessional to the point they almost cost me to lose my tire and the wrong quote for my little honda accord

I found a dependable tire shop today. The Customer Service Rep Mike is a real professional, and are in business to satisfy customers. Thumbs up for Parlin Discount and Tire.

Parlin Discount Tire, is the best place in land. There prices, service, and the staffing, is excellent . I tell everyone I know to go there when they need tires or front end work. I have been doing business with them half my life. Will keep on going there

Depending on the time you walk in depends on how long you wait, but once your car is in for an oil change and tire rotation and brake inspection you're back in your car after only a half hour. That was my experience at least! Going to take my personal vehicles to them moving forward. They're straightforward and informative about what should be done by my next oil change. Highly recommended place.

I think this place is great for its price. One has to set their expectations right before walking in the door. I know that I need the lowest price around, because my car is near end of life and I just don't want to put a ton of money in it. At the same time, I see a lot of pros go through them as well as people with big trucks. As long as you know what you need and have the right expectations this place is 5 Stars!

Bad attitude and horrible customer service. I would never use them again.Someone recommended this place to me about 4 months earlier for a wheel alignment. I recently started hearing a squeaky noise when making a right turn and went back to get it checked.I told the manager to check the alignment again or tell me what is wrong. I had no idea what was causing the noise, but someone that knows about cars more than me said it could be a wheel alignment issue.He (the manager) told me that alignment cannot cause that issue, but he could look at it for me.After diagnosing the issue he said there was a clip rubbing on the brake rotors and he adjusted it. However, he accused me of lying to him. He claimed that I had new brakes installed recently and refused to tell him.The brakes were installed 4 months ago and before he did the wheel alignment. I never had a problem paying him for the work. But he said he didn't want my money and told me he has customers waiting. Basically didn't want to deal with me. Bad customer service.

They are real scammers who cheat people for money. Stay away from this place. When I asked to change the 4 tires in my truck for new ones that I brought with me, first in the office they told me that it would cost $ 25 per tire, then the worker said that he would not change at $ 25 per tire and he wanted $ 50 per wheel because he need 3 hours to replace it;);););) Of course I said no ;);););). they were not happy that I bought tires not in their store. Their price per tire was 210$ plus installing and tax, I found for 75$ per tire ;);););) total for 4 tires 300$. They wanted just to make money from me!!! Went to Linden and replaced all 4 tires including tax for 85$, the guys spent 45 minutes to do that. Good luck scammers!!! n

When I tell you the management there is horrible and customer service, it is HORRIBLE! I went to the tire shop to see what was causing the issue I had with my tire. The guy at the desk said yeah no problem. Mind you that all I said was to see the issue, they took out the nails out of the tires to make it flat and the guy said that I needed a new tire. Let me remind you that all I asked was to diagnose the issue. The guy was upset that I did not buy the tire from the place and mounted the flat tire back and said to get out. I guess the guy was expecting me to buy a tire there since he saw I was a young guy by myself at the place trying to take advantage of me buying a tire from there. I had to drive my car about 500 feet from the place and pull over, put on the spare tire by myself, then drive away. Do not waste your time on these selfish employees and owner. If there was a choice for 0 stars, that would be my rating for this business. To current consumers and future ones, find another place.

Had a "message" that my tire was "low" on air and since I was driving my granddaughter to school, I worried that we'd have a problem. On my way home I stopped here and they couldn't have been more help. No only did they check all my tires and found nothing and stopped them all off, they had me come back the next day to be sure there was no change!! This is absolutely the place to bring your car!! Honest, reliable and knowledgeable technicians!

Was a great place until new manager stepped in. Came in to get my tire sealed, which Parlin Discoutn advised my tire is damaged. The manager offered me a replacement of a different model and tread which wouldn t work. His price for the tire was over $230. I decided to look up my tire price and I found it for $110. After advising him that I placed the order for my tire and I would leave the car to have it mounted once it arrives, he looked frustrated. After returning with my spare because I did not have one in my coupe, the lack of professionalism started to show. This was a horrible buying experience, I was yelled at, forced to pay for a service that wasn t completed, and then finally served with a racial comment! Comment stated: I Know Your Kind , which I am of Asian ethnicity. I wonder what he meant?? Apparently he wouldn t answer after asking him multiple times what that means. I m in sales myself and I sell service, I would never in a million years act the way he did and still have a job. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the manger which after asking what happened to the previous manager, who was excellent, he proceeded to state he s gone, I m the guy now in the fiercer and egotistical way. The employees/mechanics are friendly but that is not enough. 1 star for the business currently and for any potential customers, just a heads up. Not getting my business or any of the customers I previously referred. Good Luck!

I had some sort of metal claw in my tire of my brand new car from who-knows-where but this place was open bright and early in the morning and fit fixing my tire into their already busy schedule. Staff was professional and courteous. I highly recommend this establishment

If I could give them ZERO stars I would, not for the employees and I cannot speak to the quality of labor they provide as I did not have any work done but for the OWNER GERRY. I recently purchased a preowned vehicle from preferred motor cars and was referred to Parlin Discount Tire by John the owner of preferred motor cars (he's great by the way) to have the low tire pressure censor and my tires looked at. Let me preface this by saying that I called when I was in the area, explained who I was and why I was coming and if it was ok to bring my car in. When I arrived GERRY was sitting at his desk eating, he didn't greet me (no hello no can I help you nothing) and there were two other customers in the chairs at the shop. I said hi introduced myself and explained why I was there the entire time he did not bother getting up from behind his desk and he just kept saying "okaaay" while chewing as if it was my problem and what did I want him to do about it. He asked me what the problem was and I said I didn't have one he said "I assume you want John to take care of this" and I said "yes just because I purchased a used vehicle doesn't mean that it shouldn't be up to par especially since it was from a dealer" I said I could take it to the Mechanic I use if there was an issue but I was referred here. He said John didn't call him so I said I could text him so he could call Gerry and he continued with an attitude stating he didn't want to get involved he said he didn't have an attitude and he didn't want one in return and he asked what the problem was I said maybe it was his tone but that I had no issue. He then proceeded to get upset and kick me out of his shop he even went outside and complained to his mechanic. I said "thank you for your great customer service" he replied with "I have enough PAYING customers that I like." Wow. THANK YOU Gerry for being the physical embodiment of the stereotype that women encounter when going to auto shops. I hope that in the future there are men that treat and extend the same courtesy you did to me to the women in YOUR life, given that you actually have any. Enjoy your garlic knots!

My light was on and I had a thumping sound in my rear tire for @ aweek. Brought my car in, explained problem, checked car, found nail in one screw on other. Plugged up and out in 15 min. Not expensive.

Just had 2 tires mounted less than a month ago and one started to leak from the rim...they were in a hurry the day they sold them to me...i called them to check out tire they mounted and sold me and they said i need to remove it and drop off...i told them i can't get it off because its to tight... then they say 2 hours at least to look at it and fix.... so i went to my local guy and he showed me..they never cleaned rim rust and just mounted it... caused it to leak at bead... now i am paying to have it removed and cleaned the right way...

They tried to keep my rebate money, but i followed up for over 3 months to get it back. What a shame I had to go through that. Instead of giving me the rebate they kept it and gave me a gift card because they already must have deposited the rebate in their account.
