If you are looking for a friendly garage with lift and you want to do DIY work on your vehicles, this is it. Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. Environment is clean and have all kinds of tools you need. Pro tip: please be considerate and don t use messy/smelly spray paints or whatever that will make it a mess. Enjoy!

I did some electrical work as well as an oil change and tire rotation. I attempted rear shocks but the bolts were seized. The technician Matt was incredibly helpful and patient and I learned a lot from him today. Having a lift was a game changer, and I had never worked under one before. Even though I couldn t do the shocks today, I feel like it was absolutely worth the trip. I am scheduling another session soon to change out the water pump and thermostat. Thank you Matt!

Matt is the best. He s insanely knowledgeable, honest to a fault, and his tools are top notch! His bays are usually full, so whatever you do book early online. Remember he s closed on Mon/Tue. Honestly you will save money by going to go the work yourself or having him do it for you. I ve worked with a few mechanics over the years and Matt s DIY shop is clean and in top top condition. Id question your sanity if you didn t work on your vehicle here!

Fantastic shop to learn how to work on your car! Matt is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher and helped me put on a front sway bar and end links on my S5. After driving away and realizing the end links were too long, I called Matt and he immediately gave me a spot for the next day. Prices are great and the shop is clean. Will definitely be back!

I was referred to Matt at U Wrench It Auto by a friend. I reached out to him and he was very helpful. The garage is clean, a comprehensive tool box is supplied as well as a lift and air tools. Matt was very professional, gave me some pointers and guidance. My only critique would be the bathroom needs a little elbow grease but that takes nothing away from the great work environment. I'll definitely be back the next time I need a solid space to work in!

Great shop to get your vehicle worked on or to work on it yourself. Matt replaced the height pressure fuel pump in my F-350 along with the fuel rails and injectors. Matt is very knowledgeable and an excellent problem solver! Prices are great. An overall great experience!

I reserved the lift bay to install mopar 2 lift kit on my Jeep. I had an amazing experience here, the garage is clean and organised, they had all the tools I needed. Matt is very knowledgeable and helped me whenever I got stuck. Though I had booking for only 3hr Matt was generous enough to let me extend to finish the install. I highly recommend this place as you ll not only save money(I spent like 10% of what actual labor would cost) and gained a ton of knowledge and experience. Matt also diagnosed another issue with my Jeep which I ll probably go back here to get it fixed.

I ve been here twice to do some work on my car. Both times, everyone on staff has been knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating and helpful. Great facility if you need a clean, comfortable shop space with a lift to do your own repairs/upgrades. The DIY lift rental comes with a basic tool chest including pneumatic line and air-wrench. I especially enjoyed working in the warm garage in January while watching snow blowing sideways outside. A mechanic on-duty is around for safety and occasional advice to keep your project on track. If you take satisfaction in doing your own auto work with proper equipment and you want to save several dollars on repairs, I highly recommend!

This place is a lifesaver! Coming from Philadelphia with no garage or dedicated parking, I needed a place to work on my car as the shop wanted almost 3K for an oil change and full brake service. I was able to buy my own parts and install them with the help and guidance of Matt, he is super knowledgeable and helpful! I saved 2000 bucks doing this, learned a lot and felt good knowing I did the work on my car. I highly recommend U Wrench It, even if you have a place to do the work yourself, the lift and right tools are a game-changer!

Shop rates for lift rental are very reasonable. Even better, the labor rates for services performed by the shop are fantastic. Even rolling with the straight DIY package, the owner was fully present and was even quick to offer some welcome diagnostic tips. All tools and supplies were provided as advertised - everything was clean and tidy with a complete toolbox at your disposal.As long as I am in the area, U Wrench It will continue to receive my business.

This is a very functional, clean shop with an awesome owner - Matt was very kind, patient and helpful to us first-timers. It was the kind of space that invites you back to level up your DIY knowledge. Will be back next time a good project comes along.

Shout out to Matt for a great experience. I had an odd project with my gokart and needed the rear axle welded. I looked for places near me without luck. I drove an hour to Matt's shop where I was able to weld side by side with Matt himself. He even took over welding and gave me tips. Big thanks to Matt, I got the gokart back up and running.

Drove an hour and a half to U Wrench It to do a fluid change on my front and rear differentials and the transmission fluid on my Jaguar F-Pace. After three hours, everything was done and Matt helped me when I got into a jam with on of the transmission pan bolts. Saved me of a 1000 dollars compared to taking it to the dealer.If you want to work on you car and don t have the tools or the knowledge, this is the place to come. It is the best and I will be back anytime I need to do anything on my car. It is worth it not to have to do things on jack stands alone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

He effectively taught me how to do the service I was looking to perform, checked my work along the way to make sure I was doing it appropriately and gave me lots of pointers along the way that will be immensely helpful in my future DIY auto service. Awesome service and business. This shop allows me to perform maintenance on my car that would cost multitudes more if I took it to a mechanic... I really appreciate this place, and the owner could not be nicer, he's a great guy.

1st let me say this place is amazing, for any man woman or child (over 17) who wants to be free to work on their cars, trucks, or bikes without the weather, neighbors, kids or your lover getting in the way this is absolutely� the place for you. I've got� 7 cars (not a lie I swear) maintenence can be a beach! So I try to do all I can myself but even with all my tools� I still need more.� U Wrench It is the more.� To be in an extremely� well lit, dry environment with extra tools if needed and a brand new lift! My G-d how could I ask for more. My experience� was the greatest. The owner Matt and I chatted for hours ! I know longer have to depend on mechanics I've got my own personal shop when ever I need it ! The lift alone is worth the price of admission doubled!� The "side by side" option saved my life without Matt taking a second look at my suspension� it would have came apart on the highway. So I give this place 10 stars for that alone.

Great little shop to work on your vehicle if you need the lift, just the space, or a professional close by when things don t quite go as planned. Went in for an easy upgrade, but it didn t go quite as smooth as it should of. Matt was there to help and get it worked out. Highly recommend and will return when I need to have my vehicle on a lift again.

Great experience with u wrench it I was a first time customer and definitely will be back. Pricing is beyond fair Matt's a cool guy and a great teacher. Car was fixed and I'm glad I was able to work on it myself. 10/10 would recommend. My car is also pretty low and there were no issues getting it on the lift which I was extremely happy with.

Went to Matt s place today and he did not disappoint. I did 90k fluid change on my 5th gen 4Runner. Up on the lift, needed a bit of help from Matt for the muscle and he was more than happy to get in there. He was very knowledgeable and gave me some guidance when asked. As a DIYer I can tell you this shop is legit. He has a good thing going and frankly he s probably loosing money on the DIY rentals but he loves it! I highly recommend his shop. I read through the reviews and have no idea where the one complaint on here comes from but I wouldn t even pay any mind to it. 5 stars. If You need more info feel free to inbox me. I did the hourly with tools and everything not knowing what was included. I brought my own but didn t need anything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This guy not only knows his sh$t but has a good thing going for the DIY community. Let s help him and also keep it available to us.

U Wrench It Auto is a premier auto shop in NJ that allows you to work on your vehicle. Even if you are a beginner, Matt at U Wrench It Auto is available to provide one-to-one coaching. When I went there, Matt guided me to conduct an oil change and to replace my front brake pads. At all times Matt was kind and patient. Matt is very knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable performing my own maintenance on my car with Matt's guidance. I will definitely return to U Wrench It Auto to work on my vehicle again. No one is ever going to care for your vehicle better than you. Therefore, if you are willing to learn, you will not only be able to wrench on your car, but also be able to save 1,000 of dollars on vehicle maintenance and repair bills. Super awesome resource! Very glad we found this spot to safely lift your car + do DIY repairs, especially without having your own space to do so.I came with my boyfriend, who's been doing work on my older minivan for me. Prior to finding U-Wrench It, we hadn't heard of any similar spots where you could rent a space to work on / lift your car yourself, and were thinking there MUST be somewhere to do so. That's when we found U-Wrench It, just across the bridge from us, in NJ.We made an appointment online a few days in advance and were a bit late on the day of but it was all good. Everything was very straightforward-- it was our first time there so we signed a waiver and watched a safety / training video; the safety protocols were solid; a basic toolbench + safety goggles were provided; additional tools were also available to rent at $5 per tool, up to $20, after which it's "unlimited," which is very reasonable. Despite coming pretty prepared, we did end up renting a tool to make one of our tasks a lot easier and quicker, so that came in handy for sure.We had a full garage during our visit, meaning the two other areas were also occupied, but even so, it didn't feel cramped or crowded. Plenty of room, fans, extra space, etc. The garage itself is clean, stocked, and organized. It's sort of tucked away behind some other businesses, right off a main road, so it felt very comfortable and offered a nice sense of privacy.Matt, the owner, is really really great-- very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful! Made sure we knew what we were doing, offered a few suggestions, was readily available the entire time, etc. Even though we were just doing a minor repair with the exhaust, he was thorough with checking up on us + ensuring everything was good. He even went out of his way to teach us some tricks afterwards to confirm our repair was successful, and helped us check on our brake pads as well. We are pretty new to doing car repairs ourselves, but he was patient, unassuming, listened to our concerns, responsive, and didn't once make us feel out of place or anything like that.You can rent a spot with or without a technician's help. Both options are priced extremely reasonably-- and especially considering how helpful Matt was even though we chose to go "non-technician," I'd say it was a steal. Absolutely worth every penny, and we saved hundreds by doing this work ourselves as opposed to going to a shop.Overall, it was a wonderful experience + better than we could have asked for. Highly recommended! We will absolutely be back :)

Used the lift bay package to install a coilover kit on my Tesla. Brought picks with me to use with the lift. Matt was wonderful about checking in with me, answering questions, giving advice, and also lending a hand when needed. He even swapped bushings on a part using a press for a nominal fee. He has lots of tools available, some of which are not included and come with an additional, very reasonable, fee. All in all had a great experience and will be back.

Great place to work on your car for cheap if you don t have a space or the tools. I reserved the lift bay w/ technician for 3 hours. Matt was very nice and extremely helpful. I ve never even touched a spark plug let alone a valve cover gasket. I saved $850 performing the labor on my own in 3 hours compared to what Midas would have charged me for a major tune up and gasket replacement. Way worth it! I m already setting up my next appointment to replace my alternator.

Awesome place! Matt was great and helped me and the wife out a lot when changing brakes on her Explorer. I'm not much of a mechanic so having him answer our questions and verifying made a world of difference and built confidence. Definitely going back there when the need comes to fix my vehicle.
