Believe in the stars!My beloved Toyota Avalon is getting old and had some brake issues. The owner told me that it s not worth fixing if I was thinking of trading in or selling the car as the car has many issues. Appreciated that. The waiting room is very nice w/coffee and light snacks with a TV. They took me late on Saturday even though there were many cars and only had a few hours until closing. Though there are only 2 bays, they are very efficient and quick. I will be bringing my other vehicles for oil changes and other maintenance. My first time but my gut says they are very good.

So DIFFICULT to find a good mechanic, let alone a time-efficient and reliable service in this area. Friendly and family-owned to boot, Lee's Family Auto is a hidden gem off of Bergen Blvd in Palisades Park.I called ahead to set up an appointment for an oil change and thankfully they were able to take me in as soon as they were able. What impressed me first was that the facility appears to be well maintained. The friendly reception I received upon driving my car up to their facility made me feel welcomed.Really appreciated the attention to detail that they provided in the service during the oil change, including checking other levels such as the windshield wiper fluid - all without any prompts or being requested (nice to have a peekaboo window to see that being performed!). To me, this is a Hallmark of a good mechanic!The price of service was on point, if not more than affordable. The regular oil change was $30 and the synthetic is $60, very comparable in price for the area. Once my vehicle was in their shop, the whole work was completed in less than 20 minutes. All within good timing during a lunch period!Great service and friendly attitude! For certain this now will be my family's auto service facility in New Jersey.Service: Oil change

Mr. Lee and his team of car mechanics are absolutely the best and I have used a lot of mechanics in my lifetime!They diagnosed the issue (faulty camshaft synchronizer) and repaired it, but when the check engine light wouldn t go off after replacing the faulty part, Mr. Lee spent hours diagnosing the problem until he located it and corrected. And didn t charge me!!!!!How many mechanics do you know who would do that?!This is an absolutely true story and I will not take my car anywhere else!Mr. Lee, I respect your integrity and your fine business!Mark Dilcom

Really friendly and down to earth people. Hones and get the job done. The price is a huge improvement compared to my quote from the dealership. The family on the name says it all. It def doesn t feel like a super commercialized place but a little shop with good service. Bonus: there s also an air conditioned waiting room with free coffee, snacks and korean TV shows!

My 2000 Chrysler Pacifica was over heating and I automatically thought it d cost me several thousands to repair it. I just moved to NJ and I didn t know any trustworthy auto mechanics in the neighborhood. And my minivan didn t look like it can make it through the GW bridge. So I took a gamble and decided to trust this auto mechanic just based on Google review. That was a gamble!This gamble paid off big time. Not only I spent about 1/3 of what I had in mind, but I was pleasantly surprised with their professional customer service. I can highly recommend this auto repair shop to anyone with confidence.

Highly recommend for oil changes! Excellent staff and waiting area stocked with complimentary coffee and snacks. I called ahead for an oil change appointment, and they were able to take me right away! And I only waited 15 minutes in total for the oil change! omg! best auto shop ever. I was recommended this spot and drove 35 minutes when I could've gone to a local auto shop. it was so worth it! thank you to the kind and friendly lady at the office and the working staff for quickly checking out my car and asking questions to help me as best as possible. they stopped what they were doing to assess my situation and gave honest and helpful advice. I will be a returning customer for all future services!please don't hesitate to come to this auto shop, you will be so glad you did!

I had my car serviced at Lee Family Auto Repair. My car was making noise while I was driving and I went in to get my brakes checked. Within 20 minutes, the issue was resolved and I was back on the road. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Ethan who went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. They are so friendly and fast, would definitely recommend. Came back again with a different car for another oil change. Was in and out in 15 minutes and they are reasonably priced. If they have more customers ahead of you, you will have to wait longer but they have a waiting area where you can grab coffee so it wasn t too bad.

Very clean with friendly owner and staff. Waiting area is super nice equipped with coffee machines, water bottles, snacks, and tv. I always dropped my car but had to wait this time. The offered me a price for a tire over the phone including labor fee. After I got the service done, switched up the prices. Told me it was due to other services. Ended up paying 60 dollars more than they told me. I was reluctant but the guy who did the job was very nice so I didn t mind it. Noticed a couple of scratches in the rim and I asked the manager about it. He was a totally different person when i visited saying that I was too sensitive and I was trying to scam him. Angrily I asked for the log of the work that was done and of course they didn t have it. I asked for the workers number that did my tire but he insisted he was on vacation and did not want to bother his employees. Its been a month, either he had no intention of calling me back or his employees get banging benefits. If i had gotten the call back maybe I didn t have to write this review.

Excellent and Professional Services!!!My car battery died even before the pandemic, and I couldn t jumpstart it this morning. The owner was very kind and sent his son to my garage to jumpstart it, so that I could drive it over to the auto shop. They had a very lovely and cosy waiting room on the 2nd floor: A/C, TV, coffee and sofa..., you name it. Very quickly, my car got everything it needed and started to run again. To my surprise, with all those services, the price was much lower than I expected. They were very honest and down to earth, and their service was very professional. I highly recommend it!!!

Ever since my relocation to NJ, Lee Family Auto became my lifetime auto mechanic. I have 3 cars in my family with 2 SUVs and 1 camper van all three are over 90K - 120K miles and 10 years old. Every time i had any issues with the cars, Mr Lee, the owner mechanic always resolved it with very reasonable price and pretty fast repair time. He is professional, kind, courteous and best of all, honest!You may frequently find the family members are helping in the store, filled with laughter and jokes. Just recommend Lee Family Auto Repair as one of the Best Reliable in Bergen County, deserves my five star rating!!

The mechanic is extremely friendly and thorough here. I've been going back for awhile and he even gave me his cellphone number to call him if I need an emergency repair when he's not open. He also helps out a body shop, so if you get your car repaired from him you can get a body work in discounts.

The owner and mechanics here are friendly and usually complete their work properly. However, they have zero accountability for their mistakes and shortcomings.I asked for a simple job-- to change my fog light bulbs. In the process, they accidentally broke my old bulb while trying to cut corners and remove it improperly. When I asked them to remove the broken pieces of glass inside my light, they refused and said I would have to pay at least $200 in labor costs for them to remove the bumper and the fog light casing to remove the glass.They cut corners and have no accountability for their actions and mistakes. There are plenty of other garages to go to that are more professional.
