I had a great experience with the mechanic E! He was honest with me and explained everything so I understood. They completed the job in a timely manner and the price was fair compared to other shops in the area. Would recommend anyone to go to this location. Definitely will be my new mechanic for future jobs. Well done Pep Boys and E you deserve a raise!

I've had work done on my car by their main mechanic Etienne and I must say he is one of the best most trust worthy mechanic I have ever used. He is very knowledgeable and does not try to make your car problems be more then what they are. He is very thorough and a great trust worthy mechanic. A mechanic shop is only as good as their mechanic, so this Pep Boys is great!

Before I post my frustration, let me give honor where it's due, it's to the young lady at the counter, thanks for your professionalism and caring nature, you're a gem...now to my unfortunate experience, it's with the appointments, I made an appointment for a diagnostic due to an engine light being on, I got to my appointment but couldn't be seen because there was only one mechanic on duty, ok fine, rescheduled the appointment, got there and damn if I wasn't told the same thing again, it's very frustrating, taking time to make an appointment, needing the services and can't get them, based on the review of those who received service, it was great, unfortunately I will never know because I value my time too much to allow anyone to devalue it as I feel it was, so at this junction, it's thanks for nothing and you guys came highly recommended. What a shame.

I ve been to many Pep Boys over the years, and overall have enjoyed each one. This one stood out as being pretty horrible. Bad communication, work was done that wasn t discussed, service rep wasn t friendly or even very knowledgeable. What got me the worst was that I had a significant amount of suspension work done on my front end. Everything seemed great after. Drove another 4,000 miles, returned to have something else checked out, they informed me that I needed all new tie rod ends and sway bar links - the EXACT same job I had done by them just two months prior. Either they messed up the work the first time, or . They just didn t do it at all. Definitely taking this one off my list of Pep Boys I trust, or am willing to pay to work on my trucks.

I ve been saying for years that PepBoys is low key a great automotive service provider and they came through again. Got everything I needed done and they even made some recommendations that I overlooked myself. Was helped by Valerie at the front who took note of everything I needed done and the work order was completed in about 3 hours. Which is great considering I had several tasks that needed to be completed. Great service. Reasonable pricing. Really happy I took my Benz here. For those who want to know what was done: I have a Mercedes C350 - they changed a headlamp that was out, oil change, power steering was flushed, cabin and air filters were all changed. Will definitely be back here for any future service. Thanks guys!

Buying my tires at pep boys was hassle free. They did my alignment and whatever the car wanted in regards to the tires they have addressed. The staff were very respectful and conscientious

Great service. The woman at the front counter was very pleasant, professional and informative. I'll definitely use their services again. My only negative was the service tech put a bit too much of whatever white solution they use to get the tire on the rim to seat well and didn't clean it up afterwards. So it was a bit of a sloppy job.

DONT DO IT THEY WOULD SCAM YOU! I WENT THERE FOR SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS PUTTING AIR ONE JUST ONE OF MY TIRE & THE OWNER TOOK MY CAR KEYS STARTED ASKING ME FOR MORE INFO THAT HAS NOT A THING TO DO WITH PUTTING AIR ON MY TIRE! ALSO TOOK MY CAR IN & TOOK FOREVER TO BRING IT OUT TELLING ME THEY WON'T PUT AIR ON MY TIRE BECAUSE ITS AN OLD MADE TIRE THAT WAS MADE 2014 LIKE IT WAS THEIR BUSINESS! I NOTICED SO MANY RED FLAGS WITH THEM WHEN THEY WERE TRYING TO HOLD MY CAR

I let both Toyota Service department and pep boys do multi-point inspection. The pep boys's so called "120 point" inspection. Toyota service found that the brake light bulb and side marker light bulb are broken. I verified that's true. Pep boys didn't find that. The Toyota service found that drive belt needs to be replaced, axle hub needs repair. Pep boys didn't find those.

I made an appointment well in advance, and I was told it would take 2 hours for a basic oil change and check-up. If I had known it was going to take that long, I wouldn't have booked in the first place. After killing 2 hours, I came back, and they hadn't even touched the car, and I ended up waiting for almost 3 hours in total. As far as I can tell, they kept taking walk-in appointments, and they didn't respect that I had made an appointment. At the end of the day, they just handed me the paperwork and didn't explain the results of the services or make any recommendations for future services. I will not be going back.

I called about 4pm on a friday to see if I could have an oil change. The customer service rep was very accommodating and polite. She told me to come on in. The service was completed in about an hour. Unfortunately, her shift was over before the job was complete and I had to finish up with another rep named Henry. He is not the best person for a customer service representative. As I was looking for my CC, preparing for the bill, he stated " I'm waiting on you" Actually, I was waiting for him because he was talking to another customer. He has stoic and indifferent. Not good qualities for customer service

I needed a complete inspection on a used Toyota Corolla that is nearly 30 years old. I wasn't sure about how it had been maintained and what service was needed. They did a great job breaking down all the issues AND providing an affordable estimate. I'll have the repairs done this week.

This is the third time visiting this location in Orange to have a car serviced. I have always been pleased. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and friendly and was able to get my car looked at and resolved within 35 min. I had a minor issue but I didn t have to wait long. Very pleased with the service.

Don't schedule me for a 12 PM appointment to change one tire if it's going to take you 90 minutes to even look at the tire. That's just goofy

SCAM!!!!!Went there for a Free alignment check with appointment, first day they tell me that even though I had an appointment, I had to wait 4 hours so the guy rescheduled to next day early morning assuring me that the wait time would be the least.Next morning I went there, I told the lady at the front desk that I need an alignment check because my car is pulling and also vibrating a little. Instead of doing the check she informed me that it would be $34.99 just to check the car. Honestly this FREE ALIGNMENT CHECK is a Scam, I never heard of shops charging you to find the issue. I have owned many cars and been to multiple shops over the years and never had this experience.I would give them 0 stars if possible.

My experience with Pep Boys in Orange, NJ is very positive. Front desk run with real courtesy and consideration and personal manner with customers, and the work itself is completely satisfactory.

Well first off i would like to say that Pep Boys did diagnose the problem that I had with my jeep and as well prepare it. The process from start to finish just took way to long. When I initially came in I told the manager there that I had a warranty. I dropped it off on a Tuesday morning and my warranty company wasn't contacted until Thursday evening right before they closed and someone else contacted me. It seemed like the needle did not move unless I contacted you guys. Then it was oh let me check but with no follow up or return call. This whole process took 2 weeks!! Then I was quoted one price over the phone and I was told what I would have to pay after the warranty. I was fine with that. I'm thinking the it would be repaired soon about another 4 days passed. Within those days I called again and found out that the thermostat they needed hadn't even been ordered yet. So we get down to the day of me picking it up. I get there and the person checking me out knew nothing about my warranty. Wasn't his fault because he said this should have been done last night. I go home wait another 2 or 3 hours. I come back and what I has to pay was almost 300 dollars more than what I was originally quoted. No explanation was given why. I thank pep boys for fixing my jeep because I took it to a few other places that gave me bogus explanations. This whole process sucked! I'll never be back there and they are literally right down the street. Thanks to the guy who checked me out and he was equally as frustrated with their slacking.

My dad s experience with Pepboys was extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. The estimated wait time for his oil change appointment was 40 minutes and resulted in my dad waiting an additional 2 hours and 30 minutes longer than expected. This extension of time taken for an oil change should have been properly informed to my dad by the staff. Unfortunately, this resulted in my dad wasting his Saturday morning at Pepboys due to their team s lack of time management; and substandard communication skills between the staff and customer. I do NOT recommend coming here to get your vehicle an oil change!!!

Ordered tires on 12/27. Was told they had them on 12/29. Service was set for 8am 12/31 to install them.They advised it would take 4 hours max. Get there and they state they aren t sure how long it will take because someone called out. They told me they would call me within the hour to give a time estimate. I call back 2 hours later and they advise they sold the tires to someone else and my truck hadn t been touched. Complete waste of time. Horrible communication. Will never use Pep Boys again.

Valerie at reception should not be in a customer facing role. She was on her phone when I walked in, she waited for me to greet her and she was frowning while I was talking to her. It was as if I was bothering her - worst customer service experience ever!

This location could ve done several things better such as open on time. I got there at 7:30am & it was closed. I waited and checked again at 8:30 & it was open but the receptionist stated that no mechanic was available. Eventually, I went home. After waiting & not hearing from anyone nor seeing that my vehicle was being serviced via the tracker, I called after 1:30pm & was rushed off of the phone when the rude woman stated that my car was being worked on. She called back to confirm services about 15 minutes later. Finally, after seeing that it was almost closing time, I went to see what was going on with my car. I found it sitting in the parking lot, meaning nobody called to tell me that my vehicle was ready nor did anybody update the online service tracker. This was a huge inconvenience & totally unacceptable. There was a different receptionist there (Addy was her name I believe) when I got my keys back & she was absolutely wonderful.

Sigh .my appointment was set for 11:30 AM, I get there at 11:32 AM.When I get to counter to check in, the person on shift, tells me, I won t be able to get my alignment done till 1:00 PM. Which then he tells me, even though the alignment person is coming at 1, there is another car that s before mine. So I ll have to wait and extra 1 so I ll be here till 3 pm!!!!!!!! I am lost as to why I didn t get a text or call or email!!!!!!!!!!! This place is sketchy for that, you hire ups in the pep boys needs to be more aware of your stores processes!!!!!

Recently, I took my 2005 Nissan Altima for checkup due to squeaking brakes. Turns out that wasn't the issue, and they texted me pictures of underneath my vehicle as to what it actually needs! 4 stars for figuring it all out and returning my vehicle back to me same say but 4 stars cuz price was very High and the Service Advisor wasn't there to Open up on time and didn't even know when I came back to for Vehicle pick-up because she wasn't paying attention when I arrived.

Monday, Called ahead for an oil change, only to be turned away when I arrived, the manager wanted to go home, even though their was 40 min left untill closing time. Made me waste time and gas getting there and refused to do the oil change.

I would rate no stars. My husband's vehicle gets inspected, gets no call for 3-4hrs to say nothing can get done. For w.e reason then to change the tires took a couple of mins. Which could of been done hrs ago if we gotten the call. An apology was given but the service need to get better or hire more employees.
