Once again, Sunny came through when I had a car issue. Now my mechanic for almost 5 years, I was able to have fair & reliable repair work done while I waited.Not the first time. Not my first review. I couldn t open my hood after a fender bender. An hour later it is repaired & fully functioning. I have an older car. I don t want a perfect car. I have a reliable car. I m thrilled!This is the same owner who opened his garage during Covid lockdown when I needed a Battery. Everywhere was closed & he didn t know me

I have all state roadside assistance so it picks a tow service and it picked this one.when he called me he tried to convince me to take my car to his shop and not the mechanic I normally use. He told me that was fine and he would come later but he ended up canceling a couple hours later without any calls. This company does not deserve your business.

This company saved me from a horrible 36 hours stranded in the charging station due to a faulty cable, which ultimately forced me to get my vehicle towed.I was stranded in New Jersey and needed to get my car towed back to Brooklyn. After 14 hours going back and forth with Nissan Roadside Service and being told my towing service would be cancelled, 516 Auto and Tire picked up my request for a tow and was able to get me back to Brooklyn; I also learned from the guy who was able to tow my car that Nissan kept cancelling my towing services and not them.I never got the gentleman s name who helped me tow my car back to Brooklyn, but I am forever grateful for his services and the services of 516 Auto & Tire.I would highly recommend this place to anybody and would try out their other services in the future.

MARIANO was my driver, very helpful, sweet and knowledgeable. His boss Sonny on the other hand, is a scammer. After I already was communicating with Mariano , all set up n.only 5 mins away, SONNY calls me to tell me I'm not fully covered, it would be an extra 65.00. I told him I don't have it, I only have 10 for the driver, he says ok, hangs up. Then cells back asking for 125, I said no , I have 10.00 for the driver

I've been coming here since they opened 20 years ago. Sonny and his crew are top of the line. Highly recommended for honesty, quality work, and reasonable prices.

Sonny and Deedar did the work just fine. Could improve slightly on reaching out to customers but in there defense they are busy. Marlin their tow truck driver is excellent. I have never had a rude driver but Marlin is a true gentleman and consumate professional.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

WOW, where to start! This shop is criminal. I needed a tow from Sayreville to Yonkers. I have Allstate Roadside, 100 mile tows to anywhere, 5x. I set up a tow with Allstate. Sonny from 516 Auto calls me to inform me it's going to cost me an additional $250 cash to go that far!? It's 47 miles. I asked why, he said it just will. I informed him of my roadside plan, then he said to take it to HIS shop to repair! What a slimy scumbag. Did he really think I would trust him doing any repairs after his extortion scheme!? This guy should be investigated. Hopefully no one else is falling for this scam...

The place and the guy Sonny is unbelievably rude and inappropriate! I would never in my life conduct business with this shop. The service is beyond horrible they dont know what they are doing and i think a kid from watching YouTube fixing cars would have been more successful! Se be aware that if you will come here they will RIP YOU OFF ON THE PRICE AND PROVIDE POORLY JOB WITHOUT ANY GOOD RESULTS!

After suffering a total electrical failure in my car, I requested a tow service through my insurance and was given this company. Let me tell you beyond all shadow of doubt that this company has to be one of the best towing services in New Jersey. Mariano, my driver, was not only prompt in getting to me, he was efficient and taking care of my car. He even offered to take a look under the hood and using his mechanical expertise,was actually able to find out what had happened with my car before I even got it to a mechanic which gives me such peace of mind . I learned that this is one of the top 5 tow services, and HE IS THE ONLY DRIVER!. If you EVER need a tow service and you can request company, DO IT. You will not be dissatisfied!

mariano (nano) was so professional and took his time with my vehicle i would recommend them for any car needs and towing. not often do you see people take pride in their work. he could of just dragged my truck and towed it away but took his time not to cause damage. thank you!!!!

Brought my car in radio display is completely blank not coming on whole console isn t working no power. They told me they know what the problem maybe Is. My vehicle was running from 2pm until 7pm ran all my gas out said maybe it was a fuse then said it wasn t took my whole radio out with no resolution problem not fixed then comes to me that I need to pay 260$ for absolutely nothing if problem wasn t fixed and still not fixed I have to go spend money somewhere else to see if they can fix the issue these people are completely criminals and have no real vehicle knowledge but I believe it s only a matter of time untill ur business closes u can t keep robbing ppl untill it catches up with you. Please don t bring ur vehicles here staff is very rude and don t update u on car status will allow u too sit

DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS.TRUST ME THIS IS REAL REVIEW BASED ON MY ENCOUNTER WITH THIS PLACE! Horrible horrible place. Whoever is the tow truck operator. Bad mouth person tried to rip me off when my roadside service is covering all expenses he wanted me to pay extra for tolls when i refused to have the car towed to their lovation for repair and after that he starts to curse me out. Ridiculous i hope this place of business goes out of business and i will be reporting you to local authorities aswell just incase if you will want to show up. There will be cameras everywhere recording you if you do show up.DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS. GO ELSEWHERE THERES PLENTY OF GREAT SHOPS AROUND THE AREA

Probably the worst auto service I've ever visited. Owner (Sonny) gave wrong description of auto parts that had to replaced, charged double the money than usual and extremely rude when asked to give breakdown of the costs. They are not even ready to give a bill or invoice at the end. Entire interaction was unprofessional and experience as a customer is poor. Will not recommend to visit this place, there are far better auto services in Old Bridge in East Brunswick areas.Services: Electrical, Oil change

Had a leaking tire late on Friday. Most places already closed but called here and they said bring it down. What I thought was a nail or screw in my tire ended up being a serious tear that required a new tire. They stayed open late to make sure they got the new tire on so I could drive out of there. A lifesaver as we needed the car early the next day. Reasonable price and great service. Thank you!

The customer service here was above and beyond! Fair prices and quick service! We came in with a huge slash in our bmw tire and they replaced it and went above and beyond in trying to help our family! When my wife's car died and needed a tow, I went through the service through Pep Boys website to get it towed to their shop, but it appears they outsource towing through 516 Auto & Tire. After a few texts and phone calls from 516, I was able to describe the problem of the car to both the dispatcher and tow truck driver, Mariano. Once Mariano took a look under my wife's car hood, he tried a few things, checked the battery, a few failed starts, and after about 5 minutes, the car's engine started once again! Didn't need a tow to any shop and it appears the car's back to normal. Mariano and 516 Auto & Tire are as professional and trustworthy as it gets.Service: Battery

516 auto, specifically mariano, did a fantastic job of towing my elderly father's car to a nearby dealer for repair of a flat tire. mariano was great at navigating the complex where my father lives and was extremely patient when dealing with my dad. in fact, those two were practically laughing best buds after the car was ready to be towed. lol it was comforting to know that this business was taking care of my dad, not taking advantage of a senior. would definitely recommend 516 auto. cheers!

He stripped my solenoid bolts and he denied . He did not want to give me my car back unless i pay for the labor that he never did worst mechanic ever. Don't go there unless you want your car to be a hostage and walk away home. He s a dishonest person. Stingy . Hungry for money. No customer service. I have to call a police on him to get my car back .

Sonny and his team know how to do the right job ! I've taken multiple cars there for oil changes, brake work, and even a radiator replacement after I hit a deer with my SUV.The work has always been done well and done at a reasonable price. If you have an older car or are out of warranty, take it here as opposed to the ridiculous prices the dealership will charge you for basic work.

Go here only if you dont have any self respect!!! No one had mask on.199 County Rd 516, Old Bridge, NJ 08857I went here to inquire about price to fix my crv lower engine lid replacement. Even though this is small money for them they shouldn't treat customer like that. First of all no one had mask at all, no trace of wearing it.When I asked about estimate of the part and labor, sonny owner didn't even bother to reply back to me. Instead he called someone on phone and let them know about car which wasn't ready. Later one more customer came for major problem and he didnt even reply to me as courtesy to try different place as this cheap money for him. I felt so bad and end up leaving spot. Go here only if you dont have self respect.

Called them today for an emergency flat tire. I called them an hour before their closing time and I explained my situation. I even already had a tire, I just needed their business to put the tire on. The employee on the phone responded with we close in about an hour so uh not today and then hung up on me. What kind of business is that? Horrible. Would not recommend going anywhere that treats customers like that.

Sonny is an honest mechanic! It may take the guys a long time to fix something (because they are always busy) but it s definitely worthy it. It s hard to find a good honest mechanic these days. Route 516 Tire & Auto is highly recommended by me.

I go here for any thing that needs to be fixed on my current car and they do such a good job on the vehicles that I ve brought to them , there prices are reasonable and love the fact that sometimes when I m not available in the morning, I can go late in the afternoon & still be out of there in an hour. I wouldn t go anywhere else to get something fixed on my car. You can count on them.Service: Brakes
