Outstanding service and work! I recommend them to everyone. My 4 runner was experiencing a super aggressive first gear shift on a hill. The truck was bucking like a bull. Everywhere I looked people were recommending a full transmission rebuild or replacement costing thousands of dollars. The professionals at Whitty diagnosed my transmission unlike everyone else and did a super investigative job searching forms everywhere to help find a solution. Needless to say they reduced my $10K new transmission down to a $800 selenoid with parts and labor. I cannot thank them enough and my truck has been flawless since. Sent car there to be sold by the mechanic Mike Whitty he advised me, in writing, he could sell it easier and faster if the title were in his name I trusted him, still never sold it and uses it for his own personal needs. Never paid me a penny for it but billed me for all the work he did on it. All I asked for was fair market value yet he refuses to pay. Wants to revert vehicle back to me after it is unreliable and not running condition.Lost all trust in this businessServices: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Have used Whitty twice first time after another shop did not honor their warranty. Whitty got me sorted and Trans has been trouble free since. Second time I thought my 4wd low was not working but they showed me it was fine. Instead of charging me for a new transfer case they were honest and told me I was good to go. Excellent customer service. There super nice people there. They were very informative what of they knew the problem was and told me the pricing range and they also told me it could take awhile before they worked on the car so I was prepared to have my car there for a while. The price they charged me was more a fair price. The car was bucking. I had a lot of transmission wire burnt and they were able to fix the wires in one day. Now my car runs like I took it out of a car lot. Car runs very smooth now. They did an amazing job. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Two local shops, including one that I have been going to for over 20 years, suggested Whitty to us. Lisa is amazing and I am fortunate to have found them. Hopefully you will never need transmission help but if you do I hope you end up at a place like Whitty. Go there to get your transmission serviced as often as recommended so you don't end up stuck in a parking lot waiting for a tow.

These guys are great. Used them many years ago and recently needed my trans serviced...still the same honest, reasonable service and quality. Wish I could give them six stars!

Got my truck back on the road in no time at all. Had the rear differential bearings replaced. Really nice, friendly, knowledgeable & professional. Honest & fair. Would definitely recommend their services. 5 STAR without a doubt.

Absolutely the most accommodating, friendly and professional shop I have done business with for a long time. Lisa, Mike and the whole crew were incredibly understanding and willing to listen to everything I was suspecting with my transmission.After a professional diagnosis and explanation, they were willing to take my car in and repair it within hours of closing time.I am not usually one to go to, much less refer people to a mechanic but these guys are the exception!!If you have a transmission problem, go to Whitty. Hands down the best people I could have hoped to be working on my vehicle.

Excellent & honest shop My van turn on all the dash board lights on couldn't drive more then 5 mph. I call in asking for a tow truck because I was stranded Mike came to check out the car. Have come here before as we owned several Ford Taurus's and they seemed to have a built in transmission destruct at 95-110K miles.Whitty's has always done a great job of repairing them.This time I just wanted to get a general transmission service on our GMC Terrain and it seemed to help it run more smoothly.These guys are great and fairly priced!!Service: Transmission

Recommend to anyone, very honest people. Brought in Kia for issues with shifter. Could have been sold hundreds in repairs but after replacing fluids and the shifter working properly was told no charge. Me not being good with cars, Dave did a great job explaining everything and making sure I understood so I could keep an eye on it in case the problem started happening again.Really hard to find a good mechanic and even harder to find an honest one. I d recommend these guys above anyone.

Called here with questions about my vehicle regarding the transmission spoke to Tom and he was very helpful and instantly diagnosed my problem over the phone without even looking at it if you ever have any transmission issues questions anything like that I strongly recommend you go to whitty transmission

I wasn't happy to be a costumer lol.My corvette trans blew sadly, everyone recommended Whitty's. They explained and showed we what caused the issue. Also did a cargo van for us.

As always, wonderful service from everyone there - very friendly, they take plenty of time to talk to you and explain everything they did, they don't try to sell you on unnecessary repairs, and their prices are very fair. You really feel like they have your best interests in mind!

Took my car to local mechanic , looked at it said it was the trans , he suggested Whitty, got a second opinion , mechanic said the same suggested Whitty as well. We went there and we could not be happier with their service and honesty , would highly recommend!

Brought my son's 1985 AMC Eagle therefore transmission work the price was very reasonable the staff there was very professional and I highly recommend it as a transmission shop
