My son was told by a "national chain" that he needed front brakes, suspension work, and a serpentine belt. The serpentine belt was believable based upon his mileage, but we doubted the rest of it after driving his car. We dropped his car off at K&M, and SO glad we did. Only the serpentine belt was needed and was fixed at a great price. K&M shared that his front brakes had 75% life left, not the 10% quoted by the "national chain." K&M is transparent, honest, and works with integrity. K&M for the win!!

Fantastic repair shop. Quality work, very fair pricing, and knowledgeable. We have a fleet of vehicles so we are there fairly regularly. We have a huge comfort level with them. Very hard to find these days.

These mechanics are the real deal. Brought my Range Rover in for an engine light and they were able to diagnose and fix it without any problems. While repairing that issue they saw that my water pump was shaking and would cause a breakdown on the road. Fixed this issue and my car is like new again.Highly recommend! This is the third time I have used them to fix one of my vehicles. The first time , the mechanic spent about 20 minutes diagnosing the problem with my vehicle on the lift. When he came out from under the lift, He showed me the problem, which he fixed, and then said no charge, it was just a quick fix. The second time they fixed my vehicle, it was 1/3 the cost of the estimate given to me by the mechanic down the street. This last time, he fixed my problem in ten minutes and charged me $20! This is the most honest body shop ever. I have been taken by several mechanics over the years, but I have no fear of being scammed by this place. This will be my go to place for all my car needs. They are not out to just make money, they are there to fix your problem at the fairest price possible.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Words can not describe just how AMAZING and HONEST these people are. Seriously one in a million in the car-repair world in my experience. Whether or not you have questions, they will go out of their way to explain things to you so you understand what's going on with your car. They 100% deserve your business. One thing I know how to do is change my oil, but I'd rather come have the people at K&M do it because I'd rather give them the business. I can not recommend this place enough. 6 stars out of 5.

As someone who does not know anything about cars It is nice to have a place to take your car where you get an honest answer & everything explained to you.The owners and employees at K & M have been so helpful with fixing issues with our vehicles.Very happy to have found an auto repair place like this!

The most excellent car repair service I have ever had the pleasure of going to. Honestly, the best customer service I have ever experienced at any business, let alone car-repair, which is notoriously shady. These people are HONEST. DO come give them your business.

I've been taking various vehicles to them for years and have never let me down. I once asked them if they could make a house call because my RV wouldn't start and it would be difficult to get to them. I left the keys with Mike because I was going away. When I returned 2 weeks later my RV was fixed and running great. Fair prices for quality work and willing to go the extra mile for you. I give K & M Auto Repair 5 stars. After reading a review on the shop from another customer who also gave them 5 stars I decided to take my car there for my muffler. The other review was absolutely correct. After getting other estimates from other car repair shops K & M Repair charged me at least 10 times less. They are efficient and friendly and I am recommending that before you go anywhere else to get your car fixed, stop into K & M Auto Repair first...you won't regret it. I will never go anywhere else for my car repairs! Thank you K & M Auto Repair I give you 5 STARS!!!!!!

They get your projects done fast and at reasonable rates (time & $). This is an honest business. I went there to get a second opinion and found out the mechanic from NTB was trying to dupe me. I have gone there ever since. K&M was recommended to me and I'm proud to be supporting local business!

I just returned from having my Lexus RX300 repaired at K & M. My mechanic suggested them to me after learning that I needed exhaust work done that my mechanic couldn't do. If K & M couldn't help me then it was going to cost me $1700 just for the part, because it's a Lexus. I called K & M for an appointment for them to look at it. I was surprised that I could just wait and they would look at it right then. I kept my fingers crossed that they could help me. After looking at my car, the worker man (who I'm assuming was the owner) came in and told me that he could fix it and it was only going to cost me $65 and that he could fix it right then in about half an hour!!!! Exactly a half hour later my car was done and I was on my way. I am thrilled, and would highly recommend them.

While driving back to college to move out the rest of his furniture, my son had to pull over our 21 year old van near the Port Jefferson Exit of the Garden State Parkway. The motor shut down. No smoke...no noise... no steam...just died. Having no choice but to use a towing company that has a contract with the Garden State Parkway, that's who the State Police called. Our 1994 Ford Van was towed to Pep Boys just a few miles away from K & M Auto Repair. I had K & M tow our van to their shop, instead (they have their own tow truck). They responded quickly, courteously and most importantly; using skills only years of experience provide...figured out the problem and fixed it that same day! Even my local mechanic in Freehold, NJ admitted that electrical issues like that can be tricky. I was relieved...especially when I heard that the cost would be only 5% of what the Peppy Boys had diagnosed. And, to be sure (that the price for both towing and fixing my van was fair) I researched and found two sources saying that this in fact was an honest price.My wife and I have run our own business for over thirty years and one of the main lessons we've learned is when you have a doubt about working with a company, than in fact there should be no doubt about it...get the H*** out of there!!! Owners of K & M Auto Repairs, Kim and Mike Collins (and their team) are both talented and honest... NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.

Took my mom's car in for a weird overheating issue. It comes and goes and chose that moment not to show. While They could not find it because of that, they also did not charge for the diagnosis. I will be back just because of their honesty

Well I talk to a lady there and she informed me that they do engine work but she thought mine was still under warranty because they where having mad problems with the 2.4 liter engine and god forbid it was so smart on her part thank you very much
