If I could give this 0 stars I would. I got towed at the Aldi on John F Kennedy Blvd there was ONE sign that said you have to be a member of crunch fitness so that you are allowed to park there. They towed it and no one picked up the phone. So I just went there to get my car. First they said that it got towed at 1am, which was definitely not true, after me saying it the guy changed it and told me I have to pay $350 cash, before getting my car instead of sending me a bill or paying card. Hearing that I decided to get the police involved, because I'm not from new jersey and needed the car. As soon as they arrived all of the sudden card payment was available if I follow the guy to this office 5minutes away. However they did not mention that they would charge me 4%, until he took my card and made me sign two papers, which stated that I agree that I was in the wrong, in order to get my car back. He said I wouldn't get my car back even if I pay if I don't sign these. All these past negative reviews for a reason.

I don t even know what to say. $350 is insane. Asked for a discount since I m an EMT and firefighter and guy didn t care. Uncle works in a towing company as well and said they give first responders at least SOMETHING off out of courtesy. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I m sorry but being an emt/paramedic is an honor, not a privilege. We help you guys out in your own town when you need it! Something off would have been cool.Service: Car towing

The previous reviews speak for themselves. They are running under unethical and illegal practices. They made me wait in the freezing cold for 2 hours for my car as I awaited one of their reps to come release my car. I called the owner and expressed my frustrations with the wait, because he wasn t giving me any clear timeline of when someone was coming to give me my car. There were no open businesses in the area where I could stand and wait at least. He ends up flipping out on me and goes see you tomorrow for your car. He literally tried to hold my car hostage after making me wait for his team for 2 hours in the freezing cold, which is one of the most illegal things one can do. Stringing me along for hours and threatening me to return the next day while I waited in freezing weather is inhumane and total abuse of power. It wasn t until I told him I had medicine that was in my car that needed to be retrieved when he started replying again and finally sent someone! What a sick individual you have to be to hold someone s car over their head and leave them in the freezing cold. We as consumers don t deserve that sort of predatory practice and any business engaging with Top Gun for their services is a direct reflection of Top Gun. Two words: Do better!

They tow cars from the massive parking lot shared by Home Depot and Raymour and Flanagan off Route 440 in Jersey City where I was parked while renting a vehicle from Home Depot. My main dispute is therefore with Home Depot. But without advising customers who call for directions when one arrives at Top Gun in a forlorn stretch of Tonnelle Ave in North Bergen one is told they will be half an hour as everyone is out for lunch. The boss then drives by, after you stand waiting in the sun outside, and tells you his employee came back from lunch early and was waiting for you for ten minutes. This is on an empty street where you are desperate to retrieve your car and get on with your day. They then tell you the charge is $100 more than advised on their notice. They take cash or apple pay, unable to take credit cards. They then refuse to allow you to indicate on the hand written receipt that there is damage to your car. You are supposed instead to sign a receipt waiving all rights to complaint. The scratch is new damage to your car, easily incurred by late at night, clumsy and complacent towers. When you try to continue writing on the pad as the employee yanks it from your hands, and then walk away without a receipt, the owner texts you that you are on camera assaulting his staff, and asks (trigger alert, retrograde sexism to follow) what sort of man assaults a woman, you should have come see him (this being the same weirdo who drove up to inform you that his employee was waiting for you ten minutes, the same man who gave you the address and told you about the lunchbreak, the same man to whom you sent your apple pay. This whole operation is a shabby shakedown, an affront to honest motorists and retail customers. Evidently Top Gun's main business is as an auto repair shop, about which I have no experience or knowledge; they should be encouraged to get out of this nasty sideline, towing for inept, greedy, stupid and ungrateful big box corporations like Home Depot, assuming they are better and more honorable as a repair shop, as their reviews suggest.

CROOKS! And the they re enabled by the town mayors (UC and NB), they re most likely getting a cut of the thievery, so they ll keep getting away with their shady business practices.

The worst towing experience ever, the people that work there are unethical and I compassionate. They made me walk half an hour because they didn t have a card reader where my car was. These people are cruel.

They are a rip off, thieves, I showed up for my car after they have been called for illegal parking and they made me pay the whole fee and they kept threatening calling the police and lied about parking ticket fee to make me pay $150, and they took $138, all the cash I had, to let me leave without them towing the car.
