$700 for a tow from Augusta (11 minutes) after a total loss wreck is rediculous and a money grab. This happened several years back by where the double S smokehouse is or was located. State Police forced the tow to be from this business. When my family had went to get the car the next day that was the bill to get the car back. Even if you added on 10 minutes loading the car and another 10 minutes unloading you are looking at $1400 / HR. One thing is for certain, I ll never use this business after having this happen to my family.

Kevin is great to work with. My friends son scratched the side of my vehicle with his bicycle. I went to Hampton Body Works to see if it could be fixed Kevin gave me 2 different options which was very nice. I made my decision, dropped off the vehicle within 5 days of our first meeting. l couldn t be happier with the results. I would recommend Kenny to fix any vehicle

I contacted them twice about repairing my vehicle. They supposedly past my information on to the vehicle assessor which I suspect did not happen and they never got back to me. Basically, they blew me off. Don't waste your time with these guys.

Absolutely thrilled with the service I received at Hampton Body Works of Newton Nj! Not only was Carmen amazing to work with and get to know, he was extremely informative with what was going on with my car. They were able to get me in and out within Five days and I couldn t believe the results! My car came back looking brand new after a side swipe I had. Carmen scheduled me upon my request and it was within an unbelievable time frame. This will be the only body shop I go to from this point forward. Overjoyed with the outcome and customer service. I told the guy that I spoke to on the phone about my car bumper having slight damage to it and he said to bring it in so he can take a look at it. When I got there he pulled out the bottom part of the bumper and it looks as if there was no damage to begin with. Very appreciative!

What a great business! I had an accident with my F-150, since it has the aluminum body many shops are not setup for it's repairs. Not knowing if they handle these repairs, I stopped in. I read all the reviews and was recommended to Hampton Body Works, so I felt very comfortable walking in the door.I was greeted by Dee, what a sweet person to work with during a whirlwind of events. She looked over my vehicle during the estimate and showed me the damage was more structural than expected. She then explained the shop, at this time, was not setup to do my particular required repair. Where most businesses today would say sorry and bye, she didn't. Dee brought me to her office, took it upon herself to find a shop capable to do the repair. She even sent over her pictures, findings, and my insurance quote!Hampton Body Works, thank you for making a difficult time easy. Dee, thank you so much for all your help! Hopefully, no offense, I don't need your services again, but if I do you have my business and references from here on out.THANKS AGAIN!

Dee and everyone at Hampton Body Works were exceptionally friendly and helpful in putting my truck back together after I had an accident. The entire process was smooth and Dee made it a point to install OEM parts where it was important. The truck looks just as it did and drives awesome. They even went a step above and beyond any body shop I've ever done business with. They washed the truck, cleaned and detailed the interior. I would highly recommend Dee and Hampton Body Works.

Hampton Body Works was outstanding to work with from start to finish. They not only dealt with the insurance company directly, requested the appropriate rental car, and continually followed-up with the insurance company on my behalf for payment. They made sure my car was fixed liked brand new!! I would recommend Hampton Body Works in a heartbeat to anyone in the Sussex County area. Kudos to Dee. She has a solid passion for what she does, and she knows her business inside and out.

A great big " Thank You " to Dee and her incredible staff. Dee's knowledge and expertise in all areas of automotive repair is outstanding. She gave us a detailed list of all the repairs that were performed along with a list of all the parts required to complete the process. We will need this information as we are still dealing with the insurance company. From beginning to end , the quality of work is excellent. All of the employees at Hampton Body Works are essential members of this company !.

New review:Ok, so I never thought I'd be here rating Dee and company again but as fate would have it I hit another deer in a different vehicle. I think I got mere deer than most hunters this past year. of course I didn't hesitate to call Dee and immediately she was on it! I made an appointment to have my car looked at, they arranged a rental company and took care of all the insurance work. When I got my car back it looked better than ever and I can whole hardheartedly tell you don't bother to go anywhere else just come here for the best service, the nicest people and quality that can't be beat.Last review:We hit a deer with my wife's Audi Q7 back in June '18, I called the dealer where I purchased the car and was recommended to Hampton. Let me tell you this is the only place to go. From my initial meeting to picking up the car when done they are top notch. What a great group of people and their personal standard for quality shows in their finished product.

Hampton Body Works did a great job fixing my car. I stopped in 3 days before leaving on vacation and Dee was able to squeeze me into their schedule so the repair could be done while I was away. The dent removal and paint match is flawless. I highly recommend Hampton Body Works.

Hampton Auto Works is an terrific company. I brought my car in for repair after an accident, and Dee helped me through the entire process, making everything a breeze. She truly knows her stuff from auto parts/repair, insurance, rentals she knows it all, and is always there with a friendly smile and positive attitude. And my Venza looks great! Thank you!

Hit a Jersey deer (PA deer look both ways before crossing!). Insurance gave me the names of four shops they deal with, and Hampton was one of them. Quickly checked everyone out, and Hampton was best reviewed, so I went with them.Wish I could give better than only 5 stars.Dee and Kevin are great folks; I immediately felt like I have known them for years. They took care of me to the nth degree - did a beautiful job on my truck, no hassle with the insurance company - Dee took care of dealing with them. They BOTH even stayed past closing to make sure I was able to pick up my truck early the next morning at 6 am!Top notch - if you're looking for a place that will not only do a great job, but go above and beyond, you've found it.THANKS DEE AND KEVIN!! - Sam

My family and I have worked with Hampton Body Works for over 20 years. They are very fair when it comes to pricing the repairs to your vehicle. They are always a pleasure to deal with and get your car in and out of service quickly. I would highly recommend them for your next repair. I also had an insurance claim one time where I totaled my truck. They assisted me with dealing with the insurance company and made sure I got the most money for my truck by helping me find comparable vehicles to show the insurance company. Great group of people at Hampton Body Works. You would be mistaken to bring your car elsewhere.

Overall, really good experience. My truck got rear ended and my insurance provider sent me to Hampton BW. This was my first claim, so I had no idea what I was doing; and Dee hooked me up and handled all of rental agreements, claim info, etc. I've always wanted to change my bumper from chrome to a color match, and they did that too and it looks super slick. Hopefully i'll never be back, but if i am in a situation where I need body work this is where I will go exclusively.

Dee was AWESOME! I only dealt with her-- my car was waiting for a new transmission to come from Korea and she made sure she stayed on top of dealership that had to put my new transmission in. She was able to get my job done in a little less time. She even helped me with the extra fees and bills being charged to me from the rental car company. Dee not only helped me figure out a crappy situation that lasted almost 2 months but she became a friend in the process! I would definitely recommend Hampton auto body and that is only because of Dee!!

It is quite amazing that Places can get away with charging an excessive amount to pull a vehicle back onto the road. the vehicle was drivable. Yes it was stuck but my chain and pick up truck could have pulled the vehicle out. There was no towing required. If the police were not there your business would not have gotten any money out of me. The only reason you got called is because the police stoped by before I could get to my truck. I have worked With towing companies both as an individual needing there service or during an incident which I was called to. I have read what the regulations are that are published. Any person that wants to see them can find them clearly written on the state police website. So please save your time talking about that. So before you come back saying that I m clueless about how towing works and that you have been in business for all these years. And it was a very difficult recovery let s take a look at other reviews that say similar things that I have written. I know that I am not the only person That has complained. The only good think you have going for you at this time is the guy that showed up was a decent human being and wanted to work with me but you the owner you are the thief. And this is not the only time that I have had to deal with your very expensive tow. I can write a lot about the Previous tows that I sadly had to become involved in as your fees were beyond excessive and had to step in and help the individual. You as the owner are a very ruthless guy and you do not care about the people you serve just the fact you get to take advantage of them and take there money at a time that they are at a low point because you know they can t do a thing about it. it s also really sad that being a first responder and people ask me about my thoughts of this company and I can not say exactly what s on my mind as they are going off in an ambulance and you have taken there car. I get towing can be involved and some calls take hours. Trust me I stand out there until the car is gone. I ve done incidents where there is very little of a vehicle left and there is a lot of standing around while the police do there thing. but seriously minor things you should think to be more reasonable. So you can say what ever you would like. I appreciate the nice guy that came but the owner seriously is not a person that you want to deal with or ever want to probably cross paths with. I can not speak for anything to do with the body shop I only speak about my experience with having towing called by the police and other individual that I know that have had to pay there excessive towing charges. I absolutely hate to have to write this review. I do not like having to say negative things about a business that is local. But I think that something needs to be said and maybe it will help other people that may want to know what to expect when they have to encounter this place.

Super sweet & helpful staff. Peter was really helpful getting my car door to fully open for the time being, until I can arrange to get full work done on my car. Gentleman behind the counter was informative & honest about what I would need to do as well. Absolutely recommend.

I am so happy that my insurance company recommended Hampton body works as a preferred body shop. I have used them more than once and I am never disappointed with the level of care i receive from both the mechanics as well as wonderful Dee. She always answers the phone ( unusual nowadays) and always gives you an answer to your question. I love to support local business and would highly recommend them. Thanks to all of you for treating my car as you would your own car.

I was very concerned about the quality of work to be done to my car. After doing some research and speaking with the dealership where I purchased the car I went to speak with Dee the manager of the shop. From the beginning she provided me with reassurances and updates of the progress. To say I am happy with the result is an understatement. The quality of the work was great and the paint came out event better. If you need work on your vehicle this is the place to go. Great service, I am very happy.

After a tree fell on my beloved older car, Hampton Body Works repaired it beautifully. Quality work with attention to detail and a friendly professional staff - highly recommended. Dee made me feel like a friend, and the technicians expertly got my little car back on the road within a few short weeks. Very satisfied customer!

Dee and her crew are worthy of so much more than just an five star review. This should be considered an ALL STAR REVIEW.Midas crashes our car. It was a nightmare. Dee advocated for us when we were in a speechless situation. She not only got Midas to get us a rental vehicle (they were refusing), she spoke to everyone and anyone she could at Midas, the corporate office, and the insurance company to get them to cover the damages. They wanted to total a car that had only physical damage and was in good condition in every other aspect. She knew how wrong this was and fought for us.We picked up the car last week. It is beautiful (probably looks better than before!) and we are incredibly greatful.Would recommend over and over again!

My Honda CRV hood was smashed with some left headlight and rear left directional light damage from a huge tree branch that fell on our cars during that first ice storm December 2019. I also had a stressed crack in my windshield from something else. The shop was booked with many cars needing body work, but Kevin scheduled me as soon as they could and was attentive to all my needs whenever I stopped by or called. My car was ready faster than I expected and I could not believe how perfectly new, shiny fresh painted and clean my car looked inside and outside. Excellent job!

Unfortunately another crash with one of our vehicles and Dee and Hampton Body Works once again made a stressful time more painless. After only one week in the shop our vehicle looks brand new again. Hampton Auto Body made a very difficult time for me (vehicle totaled) much easier. The office manager, Dee, worked with me very closely throughout the entire process and helped me work through all of the details with the insurance company. Even though I couldn't use their auto body service, they took GREAT care of me. I highly recommend them for their customer service alone.

Diane was amazing to work with! She helped us navigate the insurance company process for our accident claim and really helped make us whole again. I've never had this kind of experience or found such a knowledgeable person at a collision repair shop before. I'm definitely making Hampton Body Works my go-to shop from now on!

I can t say enough good things about Hampton Body Works. They have a customer for life! The manager, Dee, goes above and beyond and truly cares about you and your car. I am so grateful for all her help and attention while my car was being worked on. And the results are perfection!! Definitely recommend this shop to everyone!

After our brand new vechile was totaled only 10 days after purchase we were at a loss as to what to do. Dee and the staff at Hampton Auto Body helped us navigate through the process and made a very difficult time for us as easy as possible. The staff was informative, courteous and professional. Dee keep us abreast of every step along the way. Although I hope to never need their services again, should the need arise I would not hesitate to return to Hampton Auto Body. I highly recommend Hampton Auto Body for all your towing and Body work.
