Cody took great care of my 2003 mk4 gti. Had a lot of problems when I first purchased it, but over time, this shop got it running up to speed. I don t trust just anyone with my vehicle, but these guys are honest and very thorough with explaining what the diagnosed issue is. They got it running so well that I haven t had to come back in almost 2 years because there s nothing wrong with it. It s 20 years old and I m sure it s just as fun to drive now as it was new :)

These guys are great! My friend recommended me this shop since I had an issue with my rotors and brakes and needed emergency service. These guys came in clutch helped me out with great prices! I recommend these guys, super genuine and trustworthy. Thanks Pete and crew for everything.

Cody and his team always do reliable, honest work every time I bring my Toyota in. They do an excellent job at a fair price and are true professionals. I trust them with my vehicle and would recommend them to anyone!

Okay, again and really astonished at the generosity of a business. , Not a name or franchise, real frigan peolple that trully care. Again as I say many times took care of me knowing me and my vehicle is aged and I am on a fixed income. I just cant say enough about them. And yes, they do awesome work on my aged German car. Fool if you use any one else and,yes, all is isn't perfect and repairs are messy.Just real people understand your issues financial or whatever. They picked up my SUV from my home no charge and listened to my needs. I have never had an issue with any work they have done. Highly recommend!

Ed has been my mechanic for almost a decade. When he retired and Cody took over, service has gone from great to excellent. Believe it or not I have always liked going to the mechanic, and Cody has helped me grow to love my mechanics. Alison is a treat and the guys never make me feel like an idiot, they trust my gut when I say something is wrong with my P.O.S. car.1/23/24 update:Still 5+ star service, still love my mechanics. The shop manager and guys are still the jolliest bunch of dinguses this side of the county.

I can t thank Hampton Auto enough. They helped me in an emergency situation. I had a situation with replacing my brakes and they squeezed me in so that I could get to my sisters on time for a baby shower. They were reasonably priced too. When the starter and a wheel bearing failed on my truck, a friend recommended I call Hampton Auto. I spoke with Pete who was very professional and helpful. They had my truck fixed very quickly at a reasonable price. If you re in need of auto repairs or maintenance, I highly recommend Hampton Auto Repair.

Stopped in there to see about making an appointment for an oil change, as I was in New Jersey longer than anticipated after my husband had a health issue. I live in Virginia and my car was overdue for an oil change. They were able to get me an appointment for the next morning. They took my car in as soon as I got there, did my oil change and also replaced my air filter while I waited. The mechanic checked various things on my car for me nothing else needed attention. The staff was very kind and courteous. I would definitely recommend them.Service: Oil change

I've known and worked with Cody for a number of years now. He's a hard working, reliable and honest guy all of these qualities shine through in his team and business. I run a European-specialized shop out of Belvidere, and any time one of my clients needs a recommendation for their domestic auto, I send them over to Cody. Every one of them has been extremely satisfied. Cody and the rest of the guys at Hampton Auto Repair are the most honest and reliable mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with in my over 30 years of having auto repairs/maintenance work done. It's refreshing in today's world to find individuals who take pride in their work and aren't out to take advantage of customers.I highly recommend Hampton Auto Repair for all your automotive needs from a new engine to an oil change, they will get it done!

These guys did an excellent job of fixing up the fuel system on my 97 Tahoe. Not only did no one else want to deal with a fuel tank, but these guys provided top notch service, helped me source the tank, gave me realistic expectations on both quote price and length of time to do the job, and final price was within a hundred bucks of original quote which is amazing for this type of work. If you have a ride that you simply cant seem to get back on the road- if these guys can't do it, no one can.

If you don't drive a Ford or GM car/truck, look elsewhere. Apparently they charge considerably more for foreign makes/models. The person at the desk even said that he doesn't want to deal with European cars even for something as simple as an oil change. (the process is exactly the same as a GM car, ) Really stinks that he can't look past the badge on the hood instead of pricing his jobs based on the actual labor involved.

Went in on Friday in desperate need of an oil change and no questions asked! They took me in right away!!! Allison and Cody are professional, polite and very knowledgeable! I called at 8:10 on a Thursday morning, because I needed rear bearings on my 2015 Jeep Compass repaired before a trip I was going on that Monday. They said to bring the car in, and they would try to get it done that day or the next. It was done by 4 o clock the same day. All fixed, and at a fair price. Thanks guys!!!

I took my vehicle here today because my van started loosing power on my way home to Tennessee. Cody and his team diagnosed my vehicle quickly and even got the parts the same day. My van is back on the road and I am extremely pleased with the results! Thank you!

Had never used these folks before. Had an issue where our car wouldn t start and had it towed to our usual mechanic, who we did not know I had been in a car accident and was hospitalized.Had it towed to these guys and fix the problem for free on very short notice.Very courteous and professional. Will use again.
