Went to Dan again, after a few years, with our 2021 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk w/5.7L HEMI, which I wanted a resonator delete done. Dan got me in on a moments notice (day after I called him) 8:00am I was there, went on a walking tour of Newton, and at 9:00am he was done! Awesome job on his making of the new stainless pipes! Beautiful work as always. Price was VERY fair. Now the legendary HEMI sounds as it should!Dan is the BEST!

I had a difficult to diagnose issue with brakes seizing: Dana, Dave and Jason were fantastic in ruling out all possible causes and not charging me for unnecessary parts/ labor in the process. They explain every detail thoroughly and truly care about their customers and vehicles they care for. A pleasure to do business w/ them for sure!

This rating used to be 5 stars but it has to be changed. This shop was a place I've recommended! So this was sad. No one hits a home run every time but the last 2 times I used the service were extremely poor. The First poor repair I was left broken down with my trailer and equipment. Then when I brought the truck back, they put me on the back burner for 6 weeks and left me basically where I started the first time I brought it in. Of course there's two sides to the story. But the one of most important sides was they back burnered me. Just say you can't,fix something and keep it moving which is what eventually happened.*Happens once, shame on you Dan's Auto*Happens twice, shame on Me & Dan's Auto* Happens to you, after you read this..... Then it's just a shame period...I hold no ill feelings just a shame I spent hard earned money for nothing and still find myself going to another shop now.

Dan s has consistently provided me with excellent automotive repairs at a fair price. What makes them stand out above most others is their honesty and integrity. Dan, they don't come any more honest. Dave is very thorough/particular about his work. My first time going there he offered to take me home. Pricey?? He uses the going rate. I appreciate the effort he puts into his business. Don't expect a Firestone lounge. Thanks for keeping my family's cars safe.

Way too overpriced. I was recommended to go here and it will be the first and last time. Dan is very rude and impatient and didn't seem to care that be was disrespecting me. Quality of service is just as important on how you treat your customers. The mechanic Dave I was very pleased with. Dan's prices on the other hand are a rip off. He charges list price. A fuel pump ended up costing me $500 then plus 3 hours of labor the bill was 879 and change. Then Dan gets aggraved with me that I'm asking a zillion questions, well yes I'm going to ask questions when my bill is close to $900 as any person would. Maybe he was having a bad day who knows but regardless you don't treat a customer poorly like that. Then upon paying him in full and requesting the spark plugs be looked at he refused. Live and learn. Take your money elsewhere.

This was my first time at Dan's he was referred by the auto parts store I go to. All these good reviews are real. Dan took my car in on a Friday and found my radiator was cracked. He never promised me he could get it done but said he would try. I figured I would be out of a car till next week but he got it done all in one day and charged me less than his original quote. He is a nice guy and I found a new mechanic.

Great auto service. Friendly and honest people. Been going there for almost 2 years and have always been able to count on them. Our family brings 4 different cars to Dan's and we are always happy with their quality and prices. Good communication and very fast turnaround. These guys were a fantastic find for us.

I had an exhaust repair done on my car by Dan a couple of days ago. Initially they took a look at it, gave me a rough estimate of around $300, and told me to bring it first thing in the morning and they would do the repair. I got there, they got the car in, and an hour or two later, the car was done, they fixed what needed to be fixed to get the exhaust back solid, reliable and QUIET. Total cost was about $275, so very reasonable, and very honest people. I will be back when I need to, and most importantly will send people here. Good mechanics are what we need more of.

Honest, friendly, and professional. I am new to the area and was looking for a new car mechanic. I was convinced my daughter's car needed new tires, and instead of charging me for new ones, they assured me the tires were fine. They were very flexible with my busy schedule, and made it possible to get our two cars done in one day. Dan and Dave will be our new go-to for car service.

I never write review but Dan's auto is great and I feel compelled to. I've lived in Sussex for about a year and a half and I've had terrible luck with cars and mechanics. I went to Dan with a shot exhaust: multiple leaks, broken tail pipe, etc. He said the solution was to weld. I hesitated. He said "trust me". That's it. The car was repair within hours of dropping it off and runs great. The price was great and fair. I've found a new mechanic.

We regularly use Dan for our repairs, and since hes usually booked and if he doesnt have time, he will recommend someone else bc he k ow how important it is to get things fixed quickly.Good honest dude and always calls back quickly.

Awesome folks at Dan's they are the best. I didn't have a ride home and Dan loaned me his personal vehicle first time there. Not gonna find those kind of people at Midas and he repaired my exhaust for way less than anyone else would have. If I could give six stars I would.

I would say a very honest business with fair prices for the trade type. Dan has always been a hard working genuine guy and I fully recommend. His parking lot can be very tricky so try to avoid rush hour if possible.

They are knowledgeable and friendly. I had a few issues with my car and they didn't push to fix them, only what I said I wanted done and told me what the other issues were. I'll definitely be going back!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My Fianc�e called to talk about the her car brakes troubles and schedule an appointment to fix them. The attended who answered the phone was extremely rude to her. Constantly talked over her and told her she's wrong about what information is displaying on her car dashboard. At the end of the conversation he tried to "fix" his tone, as he could tell she was not happy with the way she was being spoken to and said he would "talk to my daughter and my wife like this". I hope he doesn't as he made my Fianc�e cry with his overt rudeness. We will never use or recommends Dan's Auto to anyone after this one interaction with their employee

I stopped in for an estimate to have work done on my truck. Not only was the estimate more than fair, they had a lift available and I got the work done and was on my way in 45 minutes. Awesome!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Had an exhaust work and Flowmaster Super 40 put on my 2007 Dodge Durango and it sounds Great! I am very happy. Dan did a stand up job on my truck and I am very satisfied with the work done and the new sound of my truck is awesome! If you need some work done to your car or truck, he is the man to see! Very nice people and quality work done there. Thank you Muffler Dan!!

I was quoted around $350. When they finished the car, I was charged around $350. I brought the car in because of a rattle, when they were done, there was no rattle. I was told the car would be done before the end of the day, they finished well before the end of the day. I have only been here once but I cannot find a single negative thing to say. I highly reccomend them.

Amazing place. They fixed my car for $80 and a different place wanted to charge me $680. They were fast, friendly and fixed a few other minor things for me before they became a big issue. THANK YOU and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very good and fast. I've had exhaust leak issue with my 06 Sienna. Found to be gasket which they replaced for around $75. Will recommend..

Had a amazing experience my car went in for issues I was having on a used car that I had just gotten a month ago was very unhappy with my purchase (Lafayette motors) but dans auto drove it and took my car in last minute to get repaired and did it fast my car feels amazing and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely go back and highly recommend them. Thanks again guys :)
