This review is not transmission related but the owner is a great, helpful and knowledgeable gentleman. We met today at Croom Motorcycle Area (near Tampa, FL) were we ride dirt bikes with my son. Our little bike broke down, and luckily enough Wane shows up with his family. He saw us struggling, and helped to fix the bike, he had parts we needed, and gave ton of advice for future. He made our day.

I recently took my Subaru here to get the clutch and some other work done. My experience here has been fantastic. Wayne is an awesome guy who knows what he is talking about and tells it to you straight. He gave me the best price in town and I am very satisfied with quality of his work. I will definitely be back if the need arises.- I wrote this review six months ago, and sure enough I ended up going back. The clutch Wayne did is still working great and I have had no problems at all with his work. I actually needed a new engine in the same car and he was able to give me a great price again. Wayne got the work done and now it is running better than ever with the new engine. Another job well done!

They are awesome. Accurate description on the phone and they did what they say they'd do do at the price they are supposed to do it at and get it right the first time. What more could you ask for?

Having done 99% of my own work on my cars... it s tough to hand it over... but I can t touch a transmission... in fact, having my Jeep throw a trans code I asked around and people recommended Andover trans. Wayne and the crew went ABOVE and beyond any expectation I may have had. After calling and relaying my trans issue to Wayne s wife, who is at the desk... had Wayne call me back where we talked about the trans issue for 15-20 minutes! I never felt rushed not shooed away but real advice. After realizing this is a job I just can t do I called Wayne back a few days later and had the car towed there. After his assessment I elected to have Wayne rebuild my trans and that was the best decision I could have made. After disassembly I went to the shop and he took the time to show and explain the way the trans works as well as the parts that malfunctioned or wore out. (I was curious how an auto trans worked). After the repair was complete Wayne and crew took the time to explain everything. The price was very fair, and his warranty is generous. I would recommend Andover trans in a heartbeat.Honest and fair. Who doesn t want that.

Andover Transmission has been fantastic every time I've gone there. Wayne and his team all go above and beyond to help and have always done everything needed to keep my vehicle running great. Their prices are fair, they'll take the time to talk to you about your vehicle needs, and most importantly theyre always honest. I went to them as a recommendation similar to mine now and don't regret it at all! Choose these guys over any other shop in the community, you'll be happy you did.

Wayne (the owner) is a very honest and knowledgeable mechanic. We had a pretty significant transmission/clutch job and he presented us with options on how to deal with it. He fixed the car for the price he quoted. We will be bringing all of our cars to him now on. Do yourself a favor, if you have a transmission or clutch issue, bring it to Wayne and Julie, they are good people and provide good work. If they had an option for 6 stars, I would have given them that.

Thank you Wayne for fixing and cleaning up the workmanship from Level 10 in Hamburg. The $$$ Pat Barrett ripped me off for his Fisher - Price parts that did not hold up after 2 months. Wayne you were spot on finding the issues and repairing the problem. The solenoid issue should have been covered under Level 10's so called warranty, but Pat claimed it was a wiring issue and he doesn't do wires. You were highly recommended by Bobby from Finish Line he told me to see you glad I did. Thank you my truck is running great. Nice to find a honest mechanic.Mike MacLeanService: Transmission

Wayne is the best. He's replaced 2 clutches on 2 of my vehicles and did fantastic work . He just did the clutch on my civic last week and I'm beyond impressed. Not only was it half the price as quoted by the Steal-ership, But He towed it away Thursday evening and had it done by the following afternoon.

The people who work here are very nice and helpful, especially Wayne. But when I pay $2400 for a transmission that you said had 49000 miles on it put in my car, then less then 100 miles on it and it fries. I mean smoked to all hell. Then you tell me nothing can be done its the risk you take. Great business ethics.

Wayne, Julie, and Chris were what you hope for in a car repair angst situation. Wayne just tells it like it is...fix it, or let it go! Today he took my car for a test ride (I am sitting in my passenger seat)... hear that Dave he says. Not your tranny ! He had Chris from the shop come and listen to also confirm. This shop goes the extra mile. Honest, knowledgeable, and fair...what else would you want. Highly recommendService: Transmission

I love all the guy's down at Andover Transmission, no matter what is going wrong with my car they are always willing to help (even on a Friday close to closing)This past time my car started overheating and when I showed up unannounced the owner, Wayne, got me a new part and fixed it that day. They are incredibly professional and keep you laughing even as you are freaking out. I highly recommend Wayne. Definitely the most honest, trustworthy mechanic I have ever come across. He knows that dealing with cars is stressful and he always keeps you on the same page, explaining exactly what is going on and getting the best price he can for you on certain parts. I cannot say it enough, if you are having car problems see Wayne. You won't be disappointed.

I had the transfer case done on my truck for $3200 cash. When I picked up my truck (which was a Friday), I left my beautiful Cadillac for a simple brakes and rotor job. It was finally done on the following Wednesday. When I picked up the car, I was BS'ing with Wayne for over twenty minutes. When I got in my car to leave,after paying my bill, I noticed about two inches of water on the front floor board on both side. My heat was on full blast and only on the floor vents. Now, Wayne did not disclose that he left my sunroof open the entire weekend (which poured Saturday and Sunday) and tried to simple just turn the heat on. There was no attempt to clean it up at all. When I went inside to tell him what I found, he simply replied, if u leave it for a little bit I can shop vac it out . No sorry, no nothing. Whatever.... Then, a couple day later I was driving my car and noticed a loud knocking noise coming from my wheel well. I took it to my mechanic and was told that whoever did my brakes last, forgot to put one of the two bolts in the caliber. Will never use this location again. O ya... and the front passenger seat, the seat heating/acsensor does not work now!

Andover Transmission has the best mechanics and highest integrity in the industry. Wayne and Julie run a great business. We have had several of our vehicles in for work for a variety of reasons over the years. Our vehicles ranged from heavy duty diesel pickup to smaller cars. Most recently, Wayne and Chris went through our 2013 Outback and replaced the breaks, worked on the engine and made it like new again. Prices are reasonable and you are always getting top notch quality work!

If you need s transmission this is the place to go! Honest and fair. Had my truck back in no time. Good work by Wayne and the guys in the shop. Let me know almost daily the status of my truck. Will definately be back as he does other work too!

Wayne and Julie are the best. My son brought his car in for an engine light and not only did he fix it in a timely manner he also noticed something was wrong with the ac and fixed it while he had it. Crazy company. Will always go back!

Have been taking my Truck and Cars to Andover Transmission for past 9 years. Started with a Toyota trans issue Toyota couldn't fix. Wayne and his team diagnosed the problem fixed it. I was floored at how reasonable the cost of the repair ticket. Since then I have brought vehicles to Andover Transmission for brakes, transmission, struts, front end work. When you find a great, fair repair shop that looks out for its customers you should let everyone know. SO LISTEN UP. ANDOVER TRANSMISSION IS A GREAT, FAIR REPAIR SHOP THAT PUTS ITS CUSTOMERS FIRST.

Ray was a life saver, my tire started going flat just before I neared the shop and at the time the shop was closed but Ray just happened to be there in the back fixing his kids motorcycle and even though the shop was closed at the time he offered to still help me out and fix my flat tire. Ray you were a God-send angel. That truly was " being at the right place at the right time". Thanks again Ray and if I happen to need any more work on my car I'll be there.

Great service! A+ rebuilt a transmission for me in one of my vehicles. Works great still after over 10k miles (I'm not easy on cars). We love this place. Highly recommend.

Been in several times thinking transmission was toast. Each time Wayne called back and told me my problem was an easy fix. Could have told me anything.Fair. On the level. Trustworthy. Good experiences: 4 for 4.Also very happy with their non-transmission fixes.

Sorry, I never used this shop, but I got a flat tire on Limecrest Rd on June 22. I ran over something. Many cars just flew by me. Ray, from Andover Transmission finally stopped and got my tire changed in no time. I'm so happy that he did as Iwas in a hurry to get somewhere. He also reminded me to put air in the tire. Thanks so much Ray! You were my Hero today!

They did not rebuild my sons transmission correctly. When he took it back in the truck they tried several things and while test driving the transmission they blew the motor in his truck !! Now they refuse to make good on it and tried to sell the truck to despose of the evidence because my son filed a law suitThe reason the law suit was dismissed was my son didn t receive paperwork because of Postal services screw up. As for the title his mother signed it over because you scammed her.
