I brought my Suzuki V Strom for routine checks (oil, brakes, cables, valve check, etc.), and I noticed a small leak shortly after. However, John took care of the problem right away with great professionalism. People who claim he is expensive may not be aware of the current rates that mechanics are charging.Highly recommended!

brought my BMW to John. He told me to do all the fluids and brake pads it would be around $500. Go to get the bike and it was $1,070. then he tells me he burnt a hole in my lower fairing. So cause the bike sat for a while he said it wont idle due to the fuel. I put fuel in. rode. it idled. Two days later. I feel a restriction at higher RPMs. I call him to see if he changed the air filter. He said it was good. Remember bikes sat for 3 years. I pull the filter. Clogged and rusted. new filter bike runs and idles now. I give him an auto body estimate. He refuses to pay the body shop. DO NOT LET THEIS GUY TOUCH YOUR BIKE. he is not a good mechanic or a good personService: Engine repair

Have used John for a few years now and he's a pro's pro. Matter of fact mechanic and old-school moto-head. I've got a 2001 Triumph Sprint ST 955 w/ 40K+ on it. Last season had a cooling issue, but John solved the problem and keeps it operational without fail.

Had new tires installed. Very fair price and painted wheels not scratched. Also gave some great tips and motorcycle care advice. Highly recommend.

Really happy I found John and his shop. I needed service done to my BMW R60/6 and he did great work. He was timely and called me throughout the service to keep me updated on what was being done and how it would affect the pricing. I am very satisfied with the work he did to the bike. I would recommend him to anyone.

I purchased a used 2009 Suzuki Boulevard M50 and being a new rider I wanted to have it checked out and serviced. John gave it a good going over, changed my fluids and made sure my bike was safe to ride. Despite being busy he had it back to me the next day. He didn't change or replace anything that didn't need it and his price was more than fair. Highly recommend me for all your repair and maintenance needs!!!

NOT RECOMMENDED!I had a very bad experience with John, the owner of Cycle Craft in Newfoundland. He quoted an estimate of $140 ( 2 hours of labor) to replace 2 tires I purchased separately and provided. Upon dropping off the bike John said if there are any additional costs beyond $25 he would call me for approval. I nearly fell over when I showed up to pick up the bike he indicated the cost would be $385!! Apparently John had issues with replacing the rear tire (saddle bags were in the way, rear caliper needed to be removed, valve stems were problematic). Instead of calling me he did the work and felt I should pay for the time without prior authorization. He refused to work with me on the cost difference. Please be aware as I felt I was taken advantage of in this situation. I was very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend working with Cycle Craft.

John Stephens at Cycle Craft is the last of the breed of all around, old school, motorcycle mechanics. He knows about all makes of bikes, although Nortons are his favorite. John has worked on my bikes for nearly 20 years. He stands by his work. His prices are fair and he is as honest as the day is long.

Amazing shop. Amazing service. Fair pricing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. They genuinely care about the condition of your motorcycle and making sure everything is safe! They went above and beyond my expectations. Will definitely be using them again and recommending this place to my friends.
