I was referred to this body shop by another reputable service center, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff were not only courteous but also highly professional. They conducted an inspection of my vehicle's suspension and wheel components free of charge. It was truly a pleasure conversing with the team, who offered valuable advice on how to address the issues I was facing. I highly recommend their services.

Was close by and needed an oil change before work, and thank God that this place came up on Google. Olmedo was amazing and the prices and service can t be beat. I can safely say this is one of the most honest shops you can go to. Olmedo went above and beyond to help me out with some other issues I was dealing with and Wakeman definitely deserves all of the positive reviews I was looking at.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

My Cruze failed the emissions inspection, so I was obliged to bring the car to a specifically licensed mechanic to fix this. I found this shop through the NJ MVC listing - and I m glad I did. They respect your time, explain their findings well, give all costs up front, and stand by their work.Glad I came here - these guys will be my go-to spot going forward, for any car issues or repairs.

Got lucky. Car broke down and we were close to here. Saw the reviews, stopped in and am so happy we were brought here by fate.Great place, very happy with the price and service.You won't be sorry.

I finally found an honest mechanic with very reasonable prices who knows his stuff. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable - before finding this place, I took my Audi to 2 different mechanics who were unsuccessful at diagnosing, and even went to the dealer who not only wanted to price gouge as expected, but was also untruthful about certain parts needing replacement. Fortunately my cousin recommended this place and an issue that had stressed me out for so long was quickly discovered and fixed, and I am so happy with the cost. The owner communicated and kept me well informed on what I could expect and delivered the car as promised. Fantastic service all around.

Best affordable mechanic. He will not charge for diagnostic. No hidden charges. I went to another mechanic prior. I will never go elsewhere. Mechanic is very skilled, will not over charge you.

Amazing mechanic, I was referred to Olmedo from another mechanic. This shop does not disappoint. Very professional, reasonable prices and very knowledgeable. I rather bring my vehicle to this shop to be serviced than to the stealership.

I finally found a shop with very good and honest mechanics!! Thanks to Olmedo and his crew! They are friendly, polite, have great service and fair prices!My car lost power so they replaced the cat converter and now I love how it sounds and feels!

The guy that does the inspection takes his sweet time. Has no respect for peoples time. If I wanted to wait this long, I would have gone to DMV and get it done for free. Instead I payed $75 and waited longer than in DMV. Please respect people time that is something you could never get back.

Initially I was impressed and referred so many customers there, but my most recent experience over the past weekend, a nightmare is an understatement of unprofessionalism. The owner hung up the phone on me at 650am, without giving me a chance to explain that AAA had to rescue me, when he assured me that he fixed the problem on my vehicle.

Don Olmedo explained the diagnosis in detail and the process to repair it. The repairs and the cost were very reasonable.Recent renovations to the office make for a nice waiting area.

Went in for one thing came out with my truck for my transmission to explode 2 days later. There response "we don't know why?"But God is good and I got Blessed with another car cause of the crooks they became

Took my Toyota Highlander with a couple of warning lights to the dealer more than once!! Stopped at Wakeman Auto once and problem solved!!! Professionals, Honest and Great Price!! Never had to go fix the same problem again!! (Small, almost undetectable leak)I found my new mechanics!!! I'm really satisfied with the work and price!!!!

I would never ever recommend this auto repair for anything they provide poor quality of work, they keep your car for weeks on end and then always say there is something else wrong with the car in order to add extra charges on top of what they have already charged you. My family and I are very disappointed and will let others know that this is a dishonest business which does not honor their work or word.

This is the worst "professional" mechanics ever. They told me to leave the car for inspection so it can to cool down, because it won't pass hot...so I left the car at 11am waiting I called a friend so I can be picked up.... Hours pass and they didn't call me... So I decided to call around 2pm and still they didn't do anything... I called again at around 4:30 and said that they can't do inspection that day... I told them why didn't they call me so I can take it somewhere else... They started laughing in my face because I was angry.... I had to take the bus to go pick up my car cause I didn't have ride... They wasted my time and seeing that I was mad and making my point they (2) just laugh . This place is so unprofessional... They don't care about the customers and this was the se one chance I gave them... The first was worst. I'm a person that give second chances... Stupid of me thinking that way. NOT ONLY THAT I COUGHT THEM DOING ERRAND ON MY CAR!

Rip off they put any price thinking people dont know prices. My sis took her car and they overcharged her said car ready and it wasn't. She had to sell due to it didn't drive the same after a few days from there

Typical Newark repair shop. I took the car to be checked before buying. They did not bother checking anything except connecting OBD into it. They could not even spot that the car had been flooded. I do suspect this place works with car dealers around and helps them sell junk vehicles.
