These guys are the best in Newark they take there time to do the job correct I appreciate Vick he did a perfect job on my 2013 vw now it s back on the street running like new thank u guys ////and also he works on all cars and trucks

No one intentionally likes to speak bad about a small business but every action has a consequence, came in for an engine swap,1. Made me pay for the engine without telling me where is from or issues that with the engine. States engine is good my friend don t fall for it.2. The engine comes in with oil leaks.3. They just threw the engine in without doing a proper flush of fluids and checking or transferring parts from the old engine that were new like i told them to.4. Poor , rushed install, bolts were snap off my exhaust now causing a massive exhaust leak, and bolts are missing from the manifold. ( they was discovered later on, instead of the fixing it, they left it like that)5. Broke my dipstick and staid it was my fault until I showed them a picture of it not broken before I brought it in, and they still never replaced the item.6. Complaining saying my car has a lot of issue when it was fine before they touched it, after the engine installed, my heat was not working properly, coolant thermostat broken.7. Transmission shifting hard , to the point of it not driving properly, told me to come back and they tapped the part that was causing the issue instead of getting a new part.8: car was taken for a joy ride, had to ask before they said anything and refill my tank with only 20 ,that I asked for , which should have been done without asking. That was me being lenient.Pros: they are convenient if you want a quick work.Cons: they tend To be unprofessional and money hungry for low grade work, in my experience.I m conclusion I would not go to them for big jobs, something small if you want convenience, but also be cautious of them overcharging you and actually bringing your car back worse then when you brought it in.

Vick did a great job with my Volkswagen Tiguan brakes and rotors. He put on a fresh set and worked with on providing the service I am looking for. Make sure you bring cash or have zelle just in case.

Got my card fixed with multiple problems all in one day explained what I needed to avoid and it all costed me less then 6 other repair shops show love and support to local repair shops much love Vick thank you

Whenever I come here the service is always amazing. The owner is polite and his guys always get the work done VERY WELL. I will definitely be coming here again if I have another problem with the car.

Zero stars is what this place is worth of. Since i am not sure if it will count as a rating, i am posting it as 1 star. Pathetic service, wrongly diagnosed the issue and made be come back with the same issue months after months until i found a new mechanic who explained the issue was the work done by Vick and now i dont get the issue anymore.( headlight and ignition coil issue)

BEWARE! came in here for engine and clutch work which I had to come BACK for, because both things weren t installed properly after PAYING for them to fix their mistakes they mess my front end up and REFUSE to pay! I gotta say, my experience at Vick's Auto Repair Shop was just plain terrible. Those guys messed up the repairs on my car big time, causing even more damage. I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and find a place that actually knows what they're doing and won't rip you off. Stay far away from Vick's Auto Repair Shop!

I don t normally leave reviews because I am not a social media person. However, this repair shop has changed my mind for the service they gave me.I was driving to my house coming back from school, my car was making a noise that I was not paying attention to. However, with time the noise was becoming louder and scary. Eventually, I stopped driving it because I was getting very frightened by the noise. I googled an auto shop repair near me, and I have found that Vick s Auto Repair was the closest to me, and they were about to close in 6 minutes. I went in with my car and asked the owner for help. The patience he had for me and the way he helped me out was incredible. He was very caring and professional. He stayed until 1 hour to help me.I recommend this place to anyone who needs great service with kindness.Services: Tires, Brake service & repair

Warning: Avoid this auto repair shop at all costs.My experience with this establishment was beyond terrible.Not only did they keep my car for two months and fail to fix it and created another issues, but I also lost items from my car that amount to over $1000.On top of that, when I finally got my car back, there was a crack on the front window that wasn't there before, and they even forgot to put the engine cover back on.Also Victor promised to change the oil pans, and he said he replaced it but it wasn't replaced.After two months, he wasn't even at the shop, he left my car on the street the key was on the sunroof. How irresponsible it is.When I tried to reach out to them about these issues, they were incredibly unresponsive and unhelpful.I urge anyone considering this place for car repairs to look elsewhere.

I've been going to this location for many years now. As always the customer service is just amazing. They are very trustworthy. They are reasonable in pricing and very professional. They call you right away to let you know what's wrong with the car and once they do the car is ready within two hours. I can't ask for anything more, would highly recommend. Vicks welded my broken pipe on my 2006 Chrysler 300 & I was skeptical because it s an older car. However, the service was efficient & definitely reasonable pricing. The loud noise my car was making before is now gone & I couldn t be happier. I definitely would recommend. I m going back to get a tune up from Vicks!

This guys is the best mechanic I ve been to so far. He gets the job do quickly but efficiently and the result is simply amazing. He really knows what he is doing. I only trust him with my BMW now. His prices are great and cheap are quality work. I had my front suspension done by him and my exhaust recently which is amazing by the way. The guy is just a great guy and an awesome mechanic. Vick was so accommodating. Even though he was very busy he fit me in and fixed my Mercedes power windows and reset check engine light along with the ABS and BAS warning lights. And he did it so quickly. I wish I would have found him sooner. Very knowledgeable and he even told me to call him (as i am moving to Florida) and he would order the parts i need and ship them to me. He and his team are phenomenal. Thank You Vick!!! .

Reasonable price and fast service (as long as Vick get the part on hand). I went there twice already and I'm satisfied both of the times! Transmission problem for the first time and ac condenser for the second. I thought it would cost a big fortune, but it didn't! Great price and service, and even great after-service. But it seems Vick is busy most of the time, I highly recommend an appointment.
