On Monday I was in a bad situation after being rear ended on Saturday night. My muffler broke and was dangling on ground. Went in at 8am and was all done before 10am. Fast, reliable and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this auto repair shop!

Grab some snacks, this is a long one. My daughter s tensioner needed replacing. A Google search and reviews brought me to S & A. I called to get a quote. Nancy, the lovely lady who runs the front of house, said we don t normally give prices over the phone without taking a look at the car but if you tell me what the problem is, I ll call you back with some idea. As promised, she did. A few days closer to my next paycheck, I brought the car in. An Acura s tensioner is located in the most pain in the _ _ _ location possible. The chief technician, Jose, called to tell me that the repair would take longer than they initially estimated (which was still days earlier than I expected to get it back). I said no problem and asked him to replace 2 other parts (water pump and timing belt) even if they weren t worn out, because they re in the same inconvenient location. He said sure but it s also going to increase labor costs. He told me the new price and I asked him to proceed. I dropped the car off on a Friday morning. It was finished by Saturday afternoon. I have to mention two hugely important points - no one likes having to repair their car but I am especially sensitive to the feeling that I m being taken advantage of because I m a (presumably uneducated about cars) woman. I ran a body shop in college so I know what s required and roughly how long a job should take. I greatly appreciated that Jos� and his team didn t attempt to exploit that. Thing 2 is that I ve owned 7 cars. I ve had this same repair done on 3 of them. It is costly and time consuming. A fact that S & A could ve easily inflated, but again, they didn t. About mechanics, I would normally have had to choose from ONE of the following results: no price gouging, delivery ahead of schedule, warrantied labor and amazing customer service. I got all of them from Nancy and Jose. Without hesitation, I ll be back.Bongi

I had an unexpected issue with car and needed it back in good working order quickly. S&A Auto quickly diagnosed the problem, texted me a video of the issue, and made the repairs quickly. First off let me say I'm so thankful for Rising Tide Capital Business school. If it wasn't for them I would've never met Hilda and her husband. They are amazing best mechanic shop I've been to. They prices are fair they help you. Hilda husband Jos� isn't going to tell you, you need something fix if you don't. They honest, fair, kind, people. I believe the Universe heard me with this one! Thanks S&A for working on my car..You have a customer for life.

In late January, I brought my car in for an oil change. I was charged $75 for which I paid cash. Unfortunately, the person who worked on my car did not place the ring on the seal back correctly.A few days later, I drove the car and while on the highway, all the oil came out. By the time I was able to pull over, the car started to overheat and the engine light came on. I had to get the car towed to a dealer. The timing chain was stretched and had to be replaced. The cost of towing, cleaning the engine, and a proper oil change was over $3,000.When I first had the issue and before I got the engine repaired, I had called S&A auto repaid and spoke with one of the owners, Hilda. Hilda said she needed to talk to the owners and get back to me. I never heard back from Hilda. I called several times and left polite messages but never heard from S&A auto again.At this point, I have to contact BBB and begin the process of suing for damages.Service: Oil change

If you need to get your car fixed no matter what problem it has do yourself a favor and go to Jose! He is the best in town....my car s engine was done and he found a new engine and switched it for me. My car is now up and running and in perfect condition. He is always available to help and his prices are affordable...definitely a 5 star mechanic!! You will not regret it..

WASTE OF TIME!! UNPROFESSIONALDo not bring your car here because�Jose will waste your time!! I called in to see if Jose could check my engine and see what the issue was because�my car was not able to drive. He told me over the phone "Ok bring the car in and we can check it for you". I had to tow my car in and paid $128 to bring it to his shop. I gave him the keys and he said that he would take�care of it.Later on, he called me and told me that he would have to remove parts of the engine in order to see the real cause of the issue. He went on to say that it would cost me $120 to CHECK what was wrong. This was way too expensive and not something that he mentioned to me over the phone. If he would've told me this prior to having my car towed in, I wouldn't have towed my car there, but since he failed to mention this, he wasted my time, energy and money. As a result, I had to tow my car to another mechanic to check my engine which�cost me an additional $110 for towing fees. So basically, I towed my car to his shop for no reason just for him to tell me I have to pay $120 for him just CHECK what the problem is. This is an outrageous amount to CHECK an engine.I explained to him how he made me waste time, energy and money by misleading me to bring my car into his shop. I asked if I could possibly be reimbursed for wasted time and money and he LAUGHED AT ME!! This left me very frustrated because it seemed as if he did not care about my issue or care to try and help; even though this was the result of what he advised me to do. I am very unhappy with Jose and do not recommend his shop to anyone because he is not trustworthy as a mechanic.Service: Engine repair

I haven t had great experiences with Auto repair shops and I am sure most women can relate, I was referred to S&A through a friend, needless to say, I am grateful for the referral! The place is busy at moment but Jos� takes the time to check my van and replace battery.
