Best service. I had an annoying sound coming from my wheels when I drive. Squeaking for my entire drive. I went to Ford, I went to a five star shop in Nyc, and both companies couldn t figure it out. I had Ortega take my car for a test drive and the mechanic figured it out just by listening to it. Lifted my car, checked all the tires and brakes. Ford had put my brakes on incorrectly, and my back brake pads were worn out. I had them replaced with Ortega and now the car makes no more annoying sounds. The ride is nice and smooth, and the brakes are doing there job. I highly recommend this place. This is now my new mechanic.Nissan RogueI walked in Wed, had a piece ordered, and waited til Mon to receive it, but the car was then done and fully operational the next day.Speedy, professional, and knowledgeable.This place was by far the best(I've had 2 cars and been to 7 other mechanic garages, 4 different tire places and even the $$$dealership$$$) and with a tire shop next door (different owner), it's a one-stop shopping area for your car needs.Convenient, affordable, and great customer service.This was the best recommendation I've ever received.Finding the tire shop next door was a plus.

Jeff and Marcelo were amazing! I was shocked at how fast they were able to repair my vehicle and get it back on the road. My car was delivered via tow truck (another service they also provide) and they took care of the rest. Completely easy, no hassle and seamless! I recommend everyone use this shop for their repairs. This shop was exceptional. I needed emergency engine work. I look at Google for auto repair shops and this company popped up with excellent reviews. I had my vehicle towed to the shop. They explained what the problem was in detail. I had my car completely repaired in 4days. I would absolutely use this auto shop for any other problem I have with my vehicle. They helped make this unexpected experience very tolerable. They were honest and charged me a fair price. I feel satisfied with the service they provided. I would recommend this company. Best experience with an auto mechanic. They provide good service right away and do not make you wait forever to get your car checked. He walked me through the whole process and told me exactly how long it was going to take. Very high level of professionalism. I'm very happy with how my car came out. Will definitely make sure that when something happens to my car, I will definitely be back to Ortega Auto Service. Thank you!

I found myself in a jam with the check engine light blinking. After trying one shop, I came across Ortega Auto doing a quick search. After calling to make sure they'd be able to check out my car, I went to the shop and was helped right away. After doing a quick check engine diagnosis, he gave me an honest and fair estimate. Once I accepted he got the parts and had it addressed right away.They also made recommendations of service items that were not as urgent and carefully checked the work that was done before handing me the keys. This will now be my regular shop for as many car needs as may come up for me. I highly recommend them! Each mechanic is hard working and shows professionalism.

Definitely recommend! Ask for Jeff! He was able to take care of my car at last minute notice and provided the best care and service. Very fast service and knowledgeable workers who make sure you are taken care of. Great customer service!

Would of gave them a 5 the service was great but I feel like they sold me they alternator which the one I bought from AutoZone was fine had a tough time getting my money back for it which I had a warranty for It I would of got another alternator but ima give them the benefit of the doubt and give them one more Chance usually I wouldn t even come back luckily I got my money back they said they usually don t refund it so so I didn t see it as a lost but as far as the service they was Quick and friendly for that reason I give them another try Thank You

Before going to Ortega auto service, I dealt with countless auto repair shops and was mostly unsatisfied. I heard from a friend that Ortega auto was the place to go. They did great work for great prices! I had a 1997 Toyota Celica, at the time, and no one could tell me what was wrong with my car. I took the car to about 4 mechanics and neither could tell me. I was beyond frustrated! This is when my high school friend told me about Ortega. I took my car there and 10 mins later I was told what was wrong with my car. I went to 4 other mechanics...FOUR! Not one of them could tell me what was wrong with my vehicle. So, I got my price, paid it and 40 minutes later, I was back on the road! I received 5 star service at a very reasonable price.

Been a customer for 2 years and every trip to Ortega s is a great experience. Beyond helpful and skilled, always honest and providing the best ways to deal with issues. Great body shop and great service! Highly recommended

This place is the worst , sent my car for check engine light on, they reset it and charge me 150 for nothing , I went home check engine light came on and fixed it myself found problem in 15min.fixed it in 30min spent two hours getting part. Poor poor poor

The mechanic was thorough, he looked at the vehicle right away. He then called me mid day to confirm what he found and how much it was going to cost, before the day was over he called me to pick up the vehicle. Thank you!

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS BUSINESS!!!I PURCHASED A VEHICLE (2011 Cadillac Escalade Esv) FROM JEFFERSON ORTEGA (owner) AT THIS BUSINESS AND HE COMPLETELY LIED ABOUT THE MILEAGE OF THE VEHICLE. HE LIED ABOUT ROLLING BACK THE MILES ON THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE SAYS 91K miles ON IT BUT CARFAX SAYS IT SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST 122K MILES WHICH WAS THE LAST REPORTED MILEAGE.REACHED OUT TO HIM AND HIS STORY CHANGED TO WHERE HE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE, SERVICED IT AND THEN SOLD TO ME AS IS. I HAVE ALL THE PROOF OF HIM CLAIMING ONLINE THAT HE WAS ORIGINAL ONLY OWNER AND THE CARFAX REPORT SHOWING MILEAGE IS INCONSISTENT WITH WHAT IS ON THE ODOMETER.SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE AND HE WON T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS. I WOULD NEVER COME BACK HERE FOR ANOTHER VEHICLE OR TRUST MY VEHICLE TO BE WORKED ON HERE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Please be careful!

This place charges for changing parts and leave the problem as is...only rip off artist at work here, a father and son team. Wanted to charge $480. For a job that was worth$120. Not trust worthy and very shady characters.
