Attention to details, their ears for the customer and the level of communication provided at each step of caring for your vehicle is all exceptional at Newark Car Care Center. Have been a resident of Newark only two years and immediately decided NCCC was OUR mechanic shop. Trusty mechanics are hard to find.

They significantly overcharged me for a simple battery change. The quoted price was much higher than what is reasonable for this service, and I felt taken advantage of as a customer.

Gabriel and Steven are awesome. Great communication and service. AAA approved business. Continues to serve as my reliable and compatible mechanic shop to maintain my families vehicles when a dealer is not mandatory. Great job! Had services done here previously (several times in the past to be exact) went on their website to look for coupons and printed them out to use them for services. I was told when I got there I could not use them. I was confused as to why I could not use coupons on the company's website. The man stated he could not honor the coupons the coupons were not any good and will just give me a 10% discount instead. That is FALSE advertisement! Remove coupons off your website if they are NOT VALID! Unsatisfied Customer!

Extremely disappointedAsked for 2 degree camber in the front (I added adjustable arms). Did not listen to anything I said, just put it straight.When I asked him, where the camber he said he put it to zero, but I had asked for -2 degree.I would understand if they can t do the job, but if they can t do it why take it in the first place?Don t come here these people don t listen. They still charged me $100.

Excellent service, horrible taste in phone cases and bathroom curtains but at least my oil was changed and he s not re decorating MY house.Overall fast and great service friendly staff.Sheryse Mahase review is a lie, horrible phone case.Case in reference below

I was stranded at 12am, and needed a tow which AAA provided, and this shop is affiliated with AAA, it was nice to have vehicle towed there and left overnight, before opening I received a call from them and was able to inform of issue w/vehicle. They checked it and called back with an estimate for approval, it was fixed and haven't had an issue yet. They may seem a bit pricey, even with AAA Discount, but peace of mind factored in....... They are worth it.

Rippoffs.So I go in for a power steering problem. I was told secure one covers the upper part of a steering shaft not the lower. This was the minimum fix I was told can be done, the photo with the $518 AND $1,980 circled . Additionally there other problems they say should be fixed while they're at it. Cat. Conv... Etc.These documents I received from them and the writing is theirs not mine.-------------The bottom line: I refused them and towed my car elsewhere and told them the same thing. Power steering problem....The last photo shows total price of the next mechanic at Ramos auto repair.$402.46 in which secure one covers $277.46. Leaving my final bill at $125.

Shout-out to Steve! They really came through for us when I had an issue with my car overheating and I had to drive up to Albany from EWR airport. Super helpful and got us safe and on the road in no time.

I like that they bring the facts in their responses no ifs buts or maybes just ABSOLUTES excellent communication skills know exactly what they re doing (but bring your own k-cups if u want to have coffee while u wait but they will not judge if u drink some warm dirty water from their keurig) either way they have free creamer

if you need any kind of car repair go to these guys. They are very professional. Been using this shop for ten years. They are a great bunch of guys. Would not let anyone else work on my car

The other day my passenger side tire on my truck was completely flat and totaled. I must've ran over a nail. No way i would have made it home. Luckily I was able to make to Newark Car care. They have a man named Steve that actually went to another location to get me a new tire due to the fact that they didn't have the one i needed in stock. It was scorching outside too. Meanwhile the staff was very accommodating. I sat in the air conditioned waiting room with my newborn baby and they took care of everything. Please come see these guys. Everybody and I mean everybody was polite and I didn't come across a rude soul at all. I even ended up getting a oil change too since i was already there. Come see these guys!

I want to thank Gabriel and Steven for all their help. They went above and beyond to help me with my car. I felt secure with this establishment. They did all that was in their power to do what needed to be done to fix my car. They both was very understanding and polite. This place was heaven sent. Thank you!! I was towed to Newark car care after someone broke into my car and attempted to hit wire it. Steve was excellent and was clearly very knowledgeable from the second we met him, He saw I was frazzled about the situation and assured me it s something they re able to take care of quickly and assured me the car was safe to drive. Steve and his team were friendly, knowledgeable and got me out of the shop in 20 minutes. Given I m new to the area, I ll be coming from now on for car issues or oil changes. I highly recommend it here as it is difficult to find reliable car services in the area

Newark Car Care was a lifesaver; AAA recommended them when I needed a tire replacement and I was stranded out of state. I'm glad I chose them. In and out with a brand new tire in about 30 min. Date of incident: 04/20/2023 What occurred: I brought in my 2020 Hyundai Sonata for a routine oil change. Upon leaving and driving my car for a bit, my oil light comes on and I begin to lose power. After losing power on the highway, I had to quickly try to pull over, luckily I was close to a Wawa. After barley making to the Wawa, oil began to pour from the under carrier near the oil filter. I have photos of the car after I pulled over and the oil is just pouring out. I got my vehicle towed to my local Hyundai Dealership. Upon their inspection by a trained and certified Hyundai mechanic, they determined that my lost of power and engine seizing was due to IMPROPER INSTALLATION I m very understanding, mistakes happen. I tried to get this handled as professionally as possible. And quickly since this is the only car my household has. What the manager did in return was, use intimidation tactics to avoid taking responsibility for a CLEAR mistake on their part. He began to try and Logic bully me into thinking there was nothing I could do. Clearly my car has never had any issues. Now I got a quote for the work, it ll all come out to around $12,000.00. My girlfriend (a recent college grad with student loans) and I can t afford an unexpected bill of that price. I made sure I had a car with warranty and kept my receipts for all oil changes. As a consumer I know my rights! Please help me get my car fixed and running like it was before I came to your shop!Service: Oil change

This place came highly recommended by a friend. They open early and convenient for me to drop off my car and pick up at the end of my work day, for minor repairs. They offer reasonable prices and I have never had an issue with the service on any of my vehicles. Our car was towed to this car shop from AAA. They were great throughout the process. They had to order a part for delivery and we were worried that it wouldn t come before the holiday weekend. They made sure to expedite and fix the issue next day. The communication throughout was great. I would highly recommend them.

I absolutely love the clean environment, the customer service, and expertise I am very well taken care of every time I come to have my car serviced. As a woman, I am cautious as to where I take my car, because sometimes we re taken advantage of. I ve never felt that they tried to get over on me. OJO: HABLAN ESPA�OL TAMBI�N. 313 W. Market Street in Newark this was where AAA told me to go. It was late in the day & I was nowhere near where I needed to go. First I was told I d need to leave my truck overnight. When I explained my particular situation, they were super sweet & sprang into action to make the impossible happen even though it was really late in the day and they were busy. Steve and the rest of them were efficient and nice. THEY GOT ME BACK ON THE ROAD, explained to me what was needed & why; showed me everything; and the price was reasonable too. Excellent customer service. And my truck finally has the correct type of battery!!

This is the place, bring the kids, your uncle, it might make them uncomfortable but just stare as they fix your vehicle, don't blink, don't talk, drool if you wish. It might appear as if you're making them uncomfortable, but they love it, absolutely love it. Gaze lovingly at the mechanical genius

Had oil change done and I had a little leak so I thought the leak was coming because a hose was busted. I took the car to a shop and the oil filter wasn't tight so the leak was coming out the oil filter tightened up the oil filter no more leak
