I bought my 2011 Chevy Malibu from him 4 years ago and my baby still run like the very first day I bought her. He was honest, his customer service was professional. Thinking about traveling down to get another car from him. I bought my car at 130,000 miles she at 300,000 traveled the world and still running like a dream.

Not professional. Does not give detail on what the vehicle has, just tell you it is damage and charge you a huge amount of money for less than 3 min work. Just looking at it.In response to your reply: You can not charge $400, I first verify the price before doing the labor. If anyone reading this, don't listen to this guy. I was the customer not him. I went to another mechanic to diagnose the issue in my engine, they told me exactly what it was and how to fix it. This guy just recommended me to change the engine... Too young right, lmaoo. That how your business reply to comments in not ethic way. At least learn how to reply as a business and then you talk about age. Also make things clear $25 was just to add 1/2 1quart dirt oil. No even the foolish person will pay $400 to do that. That is why the mechanic is too empty because no one likes to go there.

Don't even spend you time and money here. They really don't check your car, they just give a quick look, and move some parts and then tell you it is damage. Those mechanic don't really know what they are doing.

I have been going to this mechanic for over 10 years. I have also recommended family and friends to this establishment. So know what loyalty is!!! I have no problem with Ernie the mechanic. He knows what he is doing. But I will never ever return to this establishment again because of my phone experience I had on 4/20/2019. Just because it s the holiday weekend I feel you should still be professional, which his brother was Not!!!! He was Very Rude!!!!!!!! If you didn t feel like coming to work yesterday, you should of stayed home. Being in vacation mode does not excuse rudeness!!!! I was very disappointed!!! I m glad I found somewhere else to fix my Jeep, without any rudeness.

My experience had always been a great one. I have a 2010 Nissan Moreno. My car started giving me problems in 2017. I have always been able to rely on the work Ernie does with my car. The customer service is excellent and Ernie takes his tine to explain my car situation.This is a great shop.My entire family gets the cars serviced and maintenance done instead of going to the regular dealership.

Great service went there looking for a car 2 days ago Ernie helped me out and I'm picking my car up today.. very affordable quick and smooth process deff would recommend this place if your looking to buy or finance a used car

This is really the best place ever . I m a single mom who often has to get maintenance on my car. I m always scared that I will get jipped . Ernie and his brother are amazing they are super friendly and always willing to explain the work my car is getting done and they never charge me more then they have to. I love that I found someone I can trust who does amazing work ! Thank you !Service: Brakes

I purchased a vehicle from this shop and Ernie was very unpleasing to work with on several occasions. Starting from the issues I purchased my car with that he refused to fix that he should ve rectified prior to selling. I attempted to switch my vehicle for another one and he refused unless I began another payment schedule with another down payment. He is very unprofessional and thinks the world would revolve around him if the sun was to ever disappear. And don t put it past him to visit your residence while you re sleeping or away to alter your vehicle, especially if you owe him money. With that being said my car has stopped working less than a year of ownership, and constant repairs in that time. Eddie isn t a man of profession, business, or common etiquette. He s a man of slander, fraud, and incompetence. I do not recommend a to anyone and will not be returning myself.Service: Electrical

Honest dealership and mechanic shop not trying to beat you very good guy's and they give it to you straight and honest rare these day's especially with mechanics and dealerships. Looking for a good used car that's going to last you and not break your pockets go see my guy Ernie honest guy and not trying to beat you and take your money to make a quick buck

I always remember about 7 years ago I lived in Newark, and my car broke down a day before Thanksgiving, and my grandmother used her car to push my car down the street to Ernies. This was maybe an hour or so before they closed. I was so upset thinking I wouldn t have my car for the holiday. I believe it was the owner son who was gonna fix the car. He told me to come back on Monday since they we re closing and preparing for a family dinner. I noticed there there was a degree from montclair state on the wall, and started up a conversation with the son about Montclair, since I also went there. The father came out and told the son to fix the car and then go home to get ready. The son didn t want to , but he did it anyway. I was very grateful that my car was fixed that same day. Although I don t live in essex county anymore, I drove past here the other day, and wanted to leave a review on the great work ethic of the owner! Thanks Ernie s!

They are really honest and kind. I was lied by some other mechanics before I was needed to replace rear brake pads and rotors. They were not even needed to be replaced so they said I can just go. I will now regularly go to this bodyshop . Really good guys.

These are my guys forever. I recommend their services to anybody. The service has always been excellent. I've never had any issues with them. It's hard to please everyone when your busy. Key word BUSY. They are busy for a reason. Keep up the good work guys
