This was my second visit to the place, and my experience today was even better than the first time. Not only was the service everything, but it was supposed to be fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, but after taking off my damaged tire and discussing the price of the new one. I realized I didn't have my purse with me and almost had a full panic attack, especially when I tried contacting family to assist. The manager was patient and understanding, and while I waited for a friend to show up. That simple act of understanding kindness will forever make me a loyal customer. I encourage anyone needing tire services to go here.

Went to rotate my tires and they said I was missing a lug nut. Now mind you they told me when they were putting the tire back on. Now here's the thing , the lug nut that was missing was the lock nut so you would have to take the lock nut off to get the tire off and they told me it was missing when they put the tire back on . The other 3 tires had their lock nuts put back on. I will NEVER go back there nor will ever tell anyone to go there. The lesson learned is you have to watch the work being done.

They show real courtesy check the tires and everything make sure everything was correct I always go to they shops, theres one on Orange Street, and one on Bloomfield avenue on Summer Ave

I've written a lot of reviews and I usually try to remain positive or not comment at all. But I just had to make a comment on this horrible, unprofessional place. As I was done getting my tire repaired, one of the guys asked me how do I plan to pay, credit card or food stamps. It is in very poor taste to joke around with someone that you don't know. As an African American woman driving a 2014 I felt that was a racist remark and he was making assumptions. When I checked him on it, he went on to say alot of customers come in here trying to pay with foodstamps or EBT cards.I doubt he would have said this to a white woman.I showed him my professional work ID and replied that I happen to work for a living and don't need anyone's food stamps .I reported this to the guy behind the counter that appeared to the manager and he claimed he'll talk to him.I doubt if he will and he didn't seem to care.I will never be back to that racist place.

The only place I go to to get my tires replaced, rotated, repaired, and checked if I can help it.These guys get you IN AND OUT quick and easy. They don't have ridiculous prices and their quality of work is grade A. Never any damage to the car.Look at what Google themselves said. "People typically spend 20 min here."I went there yesterday to get some tires rotated around. Pulled in. Got out. Explained what I wanted. Waited like 5 minutes for them to do their thing. Paid. Drove off. Less than ten minutes total. BEAUTIFUL.

Best tire shop I've been to! If you have any kind of problem dealing with your car tires (flat, hole patching, bent rim, etc.), go to them! They are quick, knowledgeable and well priced. Spanish is their first language though, so if you're bilingual, all the better. But they speak English too.

Quick service, no waiting. But the owner was not there and I felt the mechanic ripped me off... $45 to mount a new tire on a new rim with balancing. I think he pocketed part of the money.I went again today (Jan. 7, 2021) and they charged me $30 for a tire rotation. Overpriced. Not going back.

Customer service here is awesome. As soon as you arrive there's someone there to pleasantly address you. Diagnosis is free as long as you get the work done here. The best part is definitely the price, I was trying to figure out how they would turn a profit with the price I was given lol.

The boys at Central Tire are always very helpful. Just bought two new tires for my van last week and am headed there again today to replace the other two. Very fast and efficient and polite. I've only had tire service done here several times in the last year and a half so I cannot speak to their other services. But this is definitely my go to place for tire & wheel services. I might just try them out today for brake service too.EDIT: 9/22/2016: Had the front brakes replaced on my van. Excellent and speedy work. The longest part was waiting for the parts to arrive but once they did, the mechanic zipped through replacing the rotors and pads and test driving the new brakes. Awesome service.

Essential tire shop located on Central Avenue is a wonderful place of business they make sure that whatever you ask them to do they do it willingly gracefully and honestly God bless this place this is a wonderful place to come to get your tires done and to have other things done on your car I commend this manager and the people that work at this business God bless him and continue the good work fellows

Awesome service. Nice and friendly staff. My mechanic fully explained what repairs and maintenance I needed for my car and gave me an estimate. The prices are fare and they do a great job. Thanks

Was concerned at first because I couldn't see the entrance well from driving up...didn't know what kind of quality I'd be dealing with. But they found the nail in my tire quickly, only charged me $8 to mend it, and it was smooth. Definitely would recommend the place.

Horrible Customer Service !!Horrible Prices !!Do Not Waste Your Time Or Money !!Literally Made me wait while they worked on their own Cars then Charged Me $60 for a used Tire for a Dodge Journey NEVER AGAIN !!!

Everyone working there are so pleasant. I went there to replace both of my front tires that were completely stripped. Someone mentioned to me that my rear tires were smaller than my front tires. One of the guys went through all of the wheels to assure me that they were all the same size. The front two looked bloated because they were stripped badly. Two of the men worked together to get the tires on and put them on my van. They worked quickly together. The tires were very good used tires. They all remembered me from the last time I was there. They even helped me by backing the van out of the space for me. I recommend Central Tire to every one that needs to get their tires replaced. There is also a mechanic there. The mechanic fixed a problem with my rear brake line. You're in good hands there.

This is the go-to spot for all your tire and rim needs. They re experienced, quick and always offer an affordable price unlike other big dealerships who wants to charge an arm and a leg for mediocre work. I would recommend this place to anyone in need!

My favorite place to go to. Easy and quick. Great pricing. Right by highway 280. Always have room to take me right away for tire changes. Really nice mechanics who are actually looking out for you.

Rode over a nail and some broken metal and needed a spare or plug.....Went to the tire place on Main Street in Orange New Jersey by Bell Street and the old Magic Fountain and after waiting atleast 40 minutes the man or rather men that works there then told me the price or a"USED"tire was $50 I would never go there for ANYTHING!I WILL RIDE MY CAR ON THE FLAT AND CRACK MY RIM BEFORE I SPEND OR RECOMMEND ANYONE I KNOW GO TO THE TIRE SHOP ON MAIN STREET IN ORANGE

You better pull and get good deal, fast fast service these guys no their stuff , good used tires even new ones, , what a good year ? What a Firestone nope!! I m central tire for life
