He did the work on my car without giving me a quote, and without my authorization, after months of trying to figure out what the problem was. I paid 943 dollars plus 125 for a new battery, the car continued to have the same problem, the battery continues to discharge, and he wants me to pay a tow truck to take the car to his workshop to see what he can do. In short, he didn't solve the problem, he charged me for it and continues without providing me any help. my car is parked on the street, and he can't send me a mechanic, this means that I continue to suffer losses because there are cleaning days and I can't move the car.

I brought my car to Carlos for diagnosis he charge me $101 then he couldn t find the car problem he want to check more, he remove the intake manifold then he told me the valve burn then the car need engine after he call me he give me a price $ 5800 to fix it or to buy or the other engine he gonna cost about $8900 , I decide to give up I can t fix it anymore. This guy want to charge me $250 more to put back the parts he been removed to the car without fixing nothing I spend so far $361 for nothing be aware from this gangster Mecanic guy is greedy he wanna rob people money for doing nothing I call them to put back the parts they don t keep doing other new jobs let my car sitting on a lifter more up 2 days so far I can say this is a real scammer rip off Portuguese Mecanic guy . After all of bad reviews this store will be close soon cause they not real professional most likely robbers rip off .Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I wouldn t suggest anyone to go to this shop, very bad service. I took my car to get some electric work done , he charged me over 1200$ to replace the battery and an alternator assuring me that if we did the work all the problems will be resolved even when I told him that the battery was still brand new , I paid the 1200$ and few days later I came to pick up the car and everything was still the same, when I asked him that all this money spent for nothing he said we need to change the front and back modules long story short he kept the car at his shop for over a week no calls no updates and when I call to ask about the progress he would say I ll let you by the end of the day and he never call .. after a week I went and picked up my car. He wasted so much of my time for nothing. Stay away from this shop in my opinion he has zero respect for clients and he makes you feel like he s doing a favor rather than he s suppose to get your car ready for you.Services: Battery service, Electrical

I asked the lady at the gas pump to give me 40 regular & she filled my tank up without my permission. This is very unprofessional & I believe this business needs to hire people who know how to speak good English. It makes no sense to hire a person that barely speaks English to work with money. The owner of this business needs to fix this before this business looses more customers. I used to love coming to this gas station but now with the new workers I will never step foot inside this place again.

Carlos is a wise auto electrical mechanic and is easy to speak with. This is THE PLACE to diagnose any leaks associated with your Check Engine light. Inside the Valero gas station.

This place does not even deserve one star. This guy is a rip off. He did not fix the problem on my husband's car that he had for two months. He told my husband that it was an electrical issue, my husband paid him big money and then told my husband that his motor was no good. there was nothing wrong with our motor when it went into Carlos shop. This rip off man did not give a receipt for the work that he claim he done, instead he gave a handwritten receipt. My husband asked to show proof of the services that they performed and they could not produce anything. To top it off the rip off Carlo did not even have the courtesy to face my husband because he knows that he is a liar and a rip off. Please beware of going to this place!

Carlos, his staff, and his family were absolutely amazing! They got my car up and running as fast as possible and I was able to finish my trip in time to get back to my job. Please take my word for it. He is an excellent mechanic and and honest man. As for the other reviews on this site? Always check out the source. Many times people only review when angry.. which might be an indication of attitude and not service. This garage was honest, fast, and customer service was impeccable.

I had 2 different mechanics try to figure out why I couldn t start my Lincoln MKT. They changed the starter and did some electrical work and gave up after they couldn t figure out what was wrong. I then went to Carlos Electric and after his standard diagnostic fee of $95 he charged me $25 and fixed my problem. It was a fuse put in incorrectly. Frankly I was shocked! I was expecting a very expensive charge. He is a very honest man. I had a previous dealing with him. He also found the problem another mechanic couldn t find. I highly recommend him. Hard to find people like him!Service: Electrical

I feel ripped off. I went to Carlos bcuz my windows were not working. And my problem was electrical. He charged me $110.00 for a computer diagnose. I payed it. Then he said, to fix the problem would be an additional $150.00. And I payed that also. When I got the car back, the windows still didn't work properly, he told me i needed a new window switch and he would sell me one for$170.I switched the switch and the next day the windows still didn't work properly. I went back and asked him to explain to me and show me what he actually fixed, but he couldn't, so I asked him to show me on the diagnose print out what was wrong, again he had no answer. I feel ripped off, I'm out of my money and I still got the same window problems. This guy is very expensive. His diagnosis told me nothing pertaining to the window problem and he got paid to fix nothing. I really dont recommend this place. A computer diagnose should tell you what's wrong with the car, and if it dont, you shouldn't have to pay. But this guy is a auto Repair extortioner. Buyer beware

This shop is the only one that was able to effectively diagnose and resolve an electrical issue with my vehicle.After identifying the root cause as coming from the smart junction box, we found out that the part was not available for purchase.Carlos was able to open up the device itself to service the part, which none of the other shops felt comfortable attempting.This group draws in clients from all over the region. I found them through the recommendation of two different automotive technicians, and my experience is that they are as good as I was told they were.My vehicle is 100% operational and the costs were extremely reasonable.

Carlos tried to charge me 702 for a disconnected relay and he stated there was something wrong with my front end . I told him to hold the car and he fixed the car without my permission and tried to charge me. I told him to unfix it , he charged me over 100 dollars for storage and a fake diagnostic because A mechanic went to Jersey City to fix the car and bring it back to my home he told me there was nothing wrong with my front end it drove smoothly Carlos tired to rip me off, do not go there he is a crook

I came to this shop after being told by 2 different mechanics that I needed a new ABS brake pump. After diagnosing the ABS module fault codes, this mechanic shop was able to re-flash/restart the ABS computer. I would definitely come back for any other electrical issues. Like most electrical mechanics, there was a $100 diagnosis fee which was worth it

Carlos is a ripp off on 12/9/2017 i took my car there my daughter and i waited 6hours 3days later returned it for same thing coolant leak he stated i needed. a water pump 1 was put on a week before showed him stated i needed heating system one was put in on sept 2017 trying to charge me again for things that was recently done fighting for my money with Bbb wont stop! Please dont go there please.

I should it pay attention to the reviews and made the mistake of coming here !first of all I went there because my driver window for my Car wasn t working and I already had an estimate from my mechanic but I was told by a friend to better go to an electrician since it was an electrical issue to make the story short I went there told them specifically what was the issue and if they can give me an estimate.First thing they want all my information and then at the end my signature I asked because I found it weird for me to sign for just an estimate anyway I was told it was just for their record since nothing would be done on my car unless I authorize it waited an hour and an half for them to tell me that was the windows motor and the rotation of the whatever (not true) since I already knew what was going on like seriously a window, anyway since I was already eceptic about they worthiness i told them give me my car back and they charged $26 dollars just to check a problem I already told them it had and want to charge me almost $400 if I decided them to fix it up like really on a window ! Please don t waste your time or money going here Im also going to write a letter to consumers affair because this people here need to stop ripping people money off such a shame!Or by the way like I said it on the beginning I should pay attention to reviews I read before going to this place and I didn t let not this happens to you please my people try to be away from this place. So sad people like this make the community look so bad.

They are super slow. 25 minute I wait for nothing! They don t care about you. Please don t come here go somewhere else. I came here this is big mistake! And also they are very expensive trust me!

This will be a big mistake to come over here I was waiting for 3 hour my car was shaking when the a/c is on after 3 hours Carlos came and said what everything is fine with car and it was cost me 95$ for no reason
