The politeness of the folks there turned around my initial meh experience. I had an appointment at 7:00 am on Saturday morning. Sign said they opened at 7:00 AM, and I waited until 7:24 AM, and the administration area remained locked (no one there). So - I Dropped my keys in the overnight box, filled out a slip and left. That was a little disappointing, however when I got there later that morning to pick my vehicle up they were all very attentive and polite. That made it an overall good experience. They just shouldn t make 7:00 AM appointments available if no one is there until 8:00 or so. Would go back for sure

I purchased a 2016 GT 350. Even before I received the car somewhere during the preparation the car was damaged on the hood lightly. I should ve refused the car right then and there and ordered another one, and now I m stuck with it.!It was repainted but now I have a lot of dirt under the paint on the passenger side of the hood!I take the car back for a bumper technical service bulletin because it s sagging. I get the car back and someone yanks up on the driver side windshield wiper (That s labeled do not lift!!) damaging the hood, AGAIN!At this point I can only assume it was done maliciously! And to add insult to injury the bumper is in no better shape than when I brought it there!I was so aggravated I just had to leave. I was actually offered a little bottle of touch up paint! Really???Unless there s a major warranty issue I will never return! And even then I will most likely find another dealer!And these are people I considered friends for 30 + years. I ve never felt so screwed over in all my life! The chaotic turn over and help I m sure has led to the downfall. The woman doing the wash and wax before you buy your new car is extremely careless. I hope they fired her since then. Update, I sold the car instead of having to deal with service. It s a shame because the car was actually fantastic. Shame. It s a shame the owner Mark it a decent guy. Although he made no attempt to make things right!!! Sad.

Excellent customer service. Took my car there for an estimate after someone rear-ended my car. After explaining the process of getting my car fixed I left with total confidence that Family Ford was the best decision.

This is my first appointment with Family Ford Car Care in Stanhope NJ because I recently relocated, at first I was concerned, I do care where I take my car to be serviced, the workers were friendly and professional I felt comfortable, when I received my car I was pleased, the service was above and beyond all repairs were done and my car felt good driving. Thanks to the mechanic who fixed my car, my car has a new home for all repairs and care. Thanks To You All

Since I moved into this area, I have heard nothing but bad things about this dealer from the people I have met. I used a private garage for all my repairs on my 2011 Escape. There was an outstanding recall on the "fuel delivery flange" that I wanted to take care of before selling the car to a friend of mine. I brought it to Family Ford for this service. A couple of weeks later, my friend takes possession of the car. He calls me the very next day, stranded. I couldn't believe it! I had the car 10 years and it never stranded me once, I felt awful, thankfully he wasn't upset. He eventually figured out that it was out of gas and the fuel gauge was simply stuck on 3/4. I was furious.I called Family Ford and they swore up and down that it wasn't them, all they replaced was a metal flange. I looked up the recall online and found that it did, in fact, involve the fuel pump/filter assembly so I called back. They still swore they had nothing to do with it but said they'd take a look.My friend didn't want to be bothered and had also had bad experiences with Family Ford so he just messed around with it himself. What he eventually found was that the way they had oriented the fuel pump assembly wedged the float that measure the level up against the wall. He turned the pump around so the float pointed into the the middle of the tank and voila, it all worked fine.My opinion of Family Ford: Incompetent Liars.Service: General repairs & maintenance

my car was there for nearly a month after i was struck and had $6,000 worth of repairs done. when i finally picked up my car two weeks after their original promised date, the hood latch was broken and they refused to take responsibility for the damage. i had never had an issue with anything on my vehicle until the accident/taking it here. crooks. would never recommend to anyone and regret using them. the only reason i used them was because the responsible party said their work was guaranteed. some guarantee.

The managers at the service center are the most unprofessional almost to the point of moronic managers I have ever dealt with. I THOROUGHLY ADVISE, NEVER BRING A VEHICLE TO THIS FACILITY. I had brought my vehicle in to be serviced the prior week in fixing the driver door window in being inoperable. After being told that I would need a part I scheduled to have it completed the following Saturday. Per a discussion with them they stated they will call me midweek when the part arrived, midday Thursday came around and still no call so be the proactive person I am I called to see if the part was there and to schedule an appointment. After being told the part was there and everything planned ahead for the first available appointment on Saturday, I dropped my car of the night before. From that point on the professionalism and service diminished rapidly. At approximately 1:04 PM, with my vehicle there ALL DAY I called see when it was getting completed. Mike Lapshanski answered the phone and proceeded to tell me how the "oil change" and "tire alignment" were being completed shortly. After stopping him because clearly he was not looking at the right paperwork nor fully realized he was speaking to the wrong customer he said they were working on my car and finishing it up shortly. Then at 1:35 PM Mike Lapshanski called me back and said they were sent the wrong part. It baffles my entire thought process on how a car dealership operating under the Ford name can be so idiotic in not checking that the right part came in from Thursday when I called till approximately 6 hours after they started working on my vehicle. Once at the dealership to pickup my vehicle the other manager admitted to them ordering the wrong part and not being perfect. Thankfully the part was not safety critical nor can I imagine not being perfect when it comes to fixing a critical part like perhaps an airbag. I wanted me to come back in a third time to get the right part put in without even providing the common idea that again they might screw up in ordering the correct part.I would not even advise my worse enemy to take their vehicle in for service at this mismanaged, unprofessional center.

Editing my review after getting service done through a third party mechanic on the same vehicle I brought to this care center.Brought my truck in to get the differential fluid changed. After 10 minutes, they informed me that one of my rear axle seals were leaking and they of course recommend to get it replaced for around $380. They did let me come out to the garage and examine it (which I appreciate) and did offer a ride to where I needed to go. I denied that service as I was in a time crunch and it was a slow leak. I told them just do the differential fluid and I'll reschedule a different time for the seals. It was quicker than I anticipated which justified my initial 5 star review. I was back on the road again.I wanted to get quotes to replace those seals because I thought that $400 was outrageous including the cost of replacing the differential fluid. I found a trustworthy worthy individual who was recommended to me by a couple friends that quoted me $200 for the same job. A plus is he would do both seals (dealership never mentioned doing both driver and passenger side) and since my differential fluid was recently changed, he would just reuse that clean fluid after the seals were in place.When he replaced both of them, he said that the differential fluid he was going to reuse was milky like water got into it at some point. It was just done less than a week ago so I was a little confused about that. The mechanic said that it may either be because they didn't use enough sealant around the differential cover or they just didn't do it but charged me anyway. Either one is not good and I did see the oil later on so he was not trying to pull something on me. It was milk. I would have not lasted long with that in the differential that ford replaced less than a week ago. They made my truck into a ticking time bomb. So not only did I waste money on them for supposedly changing the fluid, they didn't even seal it up correctly. I would not go back here for any of my vehicles again.

This facility was great! When my truck was struck I had over $20,000 on repairs. This facility called and updated me every week until it was completed. They were very nice! Highly recommend.

First really hot day and the AC was barely blowing cool. Called for service, car is under warranty with less than 24k miles. Called on the 11th and the best they could do was an appointment for the 30th. Two and a half weeks of sweating - right. Called Performance Ford and they are taking the car first thing Tuesday morning.

I consistently have some issue every single time I bring my car here for service. It's either poor work that ends up not working two weeks later, rude customer service, or absolutely absurd wait times. It's definitely time I bring my car to a different service center.

I lost my key at Walmart near the Ford dealership. Called them. They could not help unless I arrived there with the car and the spare key at the house. Could not do either and knowing my vehicle they could not help.The price of the ford key replacement to work the car is astronomical.

Terrible - Don't bring your car here. They are absolutely horrible and dont understand true customer service. If I could have given this place 0 stars I would have. I've been a Ford guy my entire life. These guys make me wanna look at other brands

I broke down, had to betowed in. The mechanics came outside to help get the truck in. They started working on it before I was done with the wrecker driver. Very pleased, fast and friendly service!

I've had multiple vehicles serviced at Family Ford and haven't had any problem! They work quickly and do not try and upsell you on any unnecessary parts or procedures.

It's funny how you ask a question and they look at you like if your not from this planet. Very unwelcoming Especially the guy with the glasses at the front desk Caucasian. Oh well he did me a favour a $125 for an hour I have a ford Fiesta That's kind of pricey
