You will NEVER find a better auto repair shop. I have been a customer for over 15 years. I live over 25 miles away now and I have my car towed to Vic's and there are many shops nearby. The service, pricing, employees, product guarantee's andbookkeeping system of your repairs is OUTSTANDING!!

Vic s is a auto service garage that no one has to be afraid of getting taken advantage of. As a woman I can t tell you how many times I ve been over charged because unfortunately I didn t know any better. Thank you guys so much for your honesty and great work. If they had 10 stars that is what I would give Vic s!!!!

I changed a timing belt there. The experience was OK (by someone in the shop not the owner, Vic). Lately, I tried to get a quote and make an appointment to get the broken driver's side mirror and two slide door cables replaced. I visited the shop in person and met Vic the first time. He looked nice and he promised to take a quote and call me back the next day. However, I never got his call for several days. I called a few times but no one picked up the phone. I visited the shop again after a week. He excused that he was busy and forgot about it. This time he recorded what I was looking for and get a quote. I agreed the price and asked him to order the parts and make an appointment to drop off the car. Again, he didn't follow up. I went to the car dealer to get it done in the end. I feel that he is either very arrogant inside or cannot keep promises. It is very hard to call in as well, most time no one picked up the phone and no one called back. Certainly will not use them anymore and will not recommend to anyone.

I have been going to Vicks auto for about 3 years. Vic is a true gentleman and is instrumental in me starting my Turo fleet. All the staff there, from Joe to Alex are fantastic. Highly, highly recommend them!

Vic's Auto provides fantastic service and is very reasonably priced. I bring both of my vehicles here and soon to bring my wife's in for service also. They are very thorough with their work and have always been punctual with their promised timeframe. Thanks guys!

I was very pleasantly surprised with the service that I recently received at VICS auto repair shop. VICS was recommended to me by a very good friend who has lived in Bayonne for over 30 years.My car had a faulty alternator. I brought it in the VICS first thing Monday morning, and the repair was completed early Monday afternoon, far ahead of my expectations for having the car back.The work was performed professionally, albeit the price was just a bit high I will always trade good service and good work for paying a bit higher price

My car broke down nearby, and they took great care of me. Diagnosed the problem within minutes, car was ready 1st thing the next day. The cost of repair was very reasonable in my experience and they even took the time to explain everything to me, including a few other issues I should address some time soon. I always have great things to say about Vic s. I have older vehicles and it is never a problem for them to squeeze me in. Joe is great at communicating quickly and thoroughly. Their prices are reasonable but most importantly they are honest and trustworthy. Thanks for all you do.

After taking my vehicle to multiple different shops without diagnosing problem, Vic was able to solve my issue quickly and properly. 2 months later, no issues. Vic has worked on my car a few times. I like his honesty, he makes an effort to maintain trust. I feel comfortable knowing the job is done right and his prices are fair. I trust the guy to give me good advice about my car and performing the work without charging me an arm and a leg.

It was an awesome experience they were friendly and fair they had hot coffee a very elegant waiting Room they even showed me what was wrong and explained everything in detail I even was able to make a short video and take a picture of the work being done on my car It was an overall excellent atmosphere

Vic is an honest and helpful local mechanic. He does not unnecessarily recommend work on your cars and will even suggest delaying certain work to get more out of its life or if replacement is not required. His prices are fair and his shop has a decent waiting area.

I got a radiator installed yesterday. He offered me the best price out there. Even others I know were like "Wow." Vic is an honest person. He is NOT the reason why many do not trust mechanics. It's nice to have a mechanic you can trust. Thank you, Vic. May God continue to bless you.

I enjoy working on cars so I do most of my own work. It's pretty rare that I take it to a mechanic. But when I do, the only one who is allowed to work on my cars is Vic. He is spot on honest and I trust him completely. His shop does quality work and on top of that, its a nice bunch of people. Its the only shop that I recommend to friends.

Vic is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I know - and his business reflects it. he has serviced all of my family's automobiles ranging from foreign to domestic. He always looks out for his customer ahead of himself and his staff is diligent and thorough. He has saved me thousands of dollars over the years!

Been going here for my car needs for around 2 years now.It has mostly been a good experience however, after my most recent visit (yesterday) my car was returned to me with oil stains all over my front seat.Extremely disappointed as I am unsure if I will be able to get those stains out of the fabric and may have to spend extra $ to get the stains removed if I can't do so myself.I like this shop but I think they should take more care around things like this (maybe placing some plastic sheet over seats if you're covered in oil)**UPDATE**Vic reached out to me after I posted this and offered to help resolve the oil on the seats. Thankfully I was able to get it out but appreciated that he cared enough to offer to make it right.Updated to 4 stars as I appreciate him taking the time to reach out and try to fix the issue.

Easily the best, most trustworthy auto service shop in the state. The owner, as well as the mechanics, are absolutely outstanding. Pricing is up front and fair and the work is phenomenal. This is the one place, out of any industry, that I would ever put my credibility on the line to recommend to others.

Heard real good things about Vic from my neighbor and others. I dropped my car off and 15 days and multiple phone calls later he still didn't look at the car. Last phone call he explained that he was busy and new cars were coming in which meant that the new cars had to be looked at before mine which had been there for 10 days when he said it to me. When he finally got the car in he fixe something that I didn't ask him to and never addressed the problem I brought it for. 15 days later the car is now back at home with the same issue. I'll never go back there.

Terrible place if I could give it 0 stars I would. First off Vic only answered the phone once before we dropped the car off. After that he never answered the phone again and every time we would show up to check on the status of the car there was another excuse. More recently a friends car was taken for repairs and was told the repairs should take about a week mean while it's been longer and still nothing. He has more than inconvenienced us on multiple occasions and still doesnt answer the phone. The service and business practice is faulty and I strongly dont recommend. Today he has lost alot of business between my family and I but hope people head this warning.

Felt right at home in this shop. The whole crew there are friendly and informative. Vic is a great guy and his mechanics work hard to please the customer. Pricing is very fair.
