I recently have had an alternator replaced, this place is the best. Joe is fair, honest, and a really good guy. I have been here a few times now as I am only in Montclair about 5 years. No reason to go anywhere else. Go here.

Joe at Park St Auto is the best, the only place I take my car in for tuneups, oil changes, new tires etc. Him and his team are kind, helpful and honest, and get my car in and out when they say they will.

Great service and Joe and his staff are patient and helpful. It's not like going to a dealer and they upsell. Joe gives you pertinent information and you from there. It is refreshing to talk to a person that shows patience and actually helps. Big-Ups to Joe

I just had a flat tire fixed within 10 minutes and no notice to Joe. He pulled a big nail out of my tire and plugged it. I am amazed by his and his staff's integrity, honestly and the fact that they do not hesitate to go the extra mile . This isn't the first time they have helped me on little or no notice for extremely fair prices. It is a comfort to know that I won't be stranded when they are around. Thank you to Joe and his staff. I recommend them to everyone !

Our trucks hood latch malfunctioned and Joe was recommended. How lucky we are to have found him. The repair took under 5 minutes! But more importantly he was caring and responsive and had us on our way quickly and safely. He now has a new customer! Thank you so much.

I have been going to Park Street Automotive for a little over a year. The location of the shop is why I initially chose to go there, but their impeccable service has kept me coming back. I have a car for work that regularly needs service and have now started bringing my personal car there as well. Joe provides honest and direct feedback about issues you have and doesn t try to take advantage of the less informed customers like myself. This place is always busy and it s for good reason - they really are the best!

Just moved to Montclair and called the 2 closest shops. The first shop was a little rude over the phone, so I called Joe at Park Street Automotive. Joe was very polite over the phone and had immediate availability. Car was finished within the hour and the price was extremely fair. Thanks again!

Park Street Auto is just a wonderful place to bring your car. Joe and his staff are honest and straight forward. They will try to fix the issue in my car and then replace the part if necessary. My car is a 2002 Honda Accord I brought it in excellent condition and Park Street Auto are the ones who are maintaining that excellence, in a reasonable way. Thank you for your knowledge, talents and abilities.

Just had my first oil change at Park Street Auto and it was a great experience. Easy drop off/pick up, done ina timely fashion and the location is like an old school neighborhood garage which I loved. Moved to Montclair 6 mos ago and found great reviews on Montclair FB page and they were all true! Joe was very friendly.

Joe is quick, efficient, and honest. I've taken my car to other places where they didn't do a complete job and it would stress me out. After going to Joe, I know that my car is well taken care of and will never go anywhere else. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Park Street Auto is a pleasure to work with. I have brought the car to them several times and they always go the extra mile. If they can't find the source of an issue they never charge you time to troubleshoot. Will be back and highly recommend. Shop is clean and organized, which also speaks to the kind of standards they have with their work.

I've been coming to Joe for years now. Honest, quick, and quality work. This man knows what it takes to build a good business and keep customers. This is the only place I'll come to for everything as small as an oil change to bigger issues.Best place in town.

Just did a oil change there. Job finely and efficiently done. The waiting environment is not too good though, because you have to sit in the small office--you could have a good conversation with Joe (the manager) but otherwise sitting there may make you feel a bit awkward. If you have to wait considerable long going to the nearby town center might be a good idea (I'm not sure though as I don't live in Montclair).

We found Park Street Automotive on Angie's List some years ago, and we had been going there for anything beyond oil changes. Ever since our first visit we had found the owner Joe to be honest and capable. We'll use our 7/25/2014 visit as an example. We ran a piece of metal on the highway, which bounced up and ripped open the exhaust pipe between the catalytic converter and the muffler. Joe called his supplier to get a price quote on the OEM replacement, and found that the manufacturer only provide the entire assembly from catalytic converter all the way to the end of the exhaust tip, something that costs over $1000. Joe knew that all we really needed was the pipe, so he spent the time to find an alternative, ultimately finding a third-party-manufacturer pipe that was made to fit our make and model so that we didn't have to purchase parts that we didn't need to replace. When all was said and done, even with the additional labor time needed, it came out to be about $600. This was not the only time Joe was willing to spend the extra time to do the job right, even when he could just as easily find the quickest fix (sometimes at a higher cost to the customer) so he can service more customers and make more money.We moved to central NJ last year, putting an hour or two of travel time between our new home and Park Street Automotive. The greater distance had not yet deterred us from driving all the way to Montclair when we need car repairs!

Although I moved about 25 minutes away from Montclair several years ago, I still take my car back to Joe at Park Street Auto since he offers great service and great prices at a beautiful Montclair Center location.
