Took my Rogue in for complete oil change and filter and asked to have it prepped for the winter. Was done quickly and efficiently. Asked to have some other things looked at and taken care of and it wasn't an issue.Employees there are extremely helpful and professional in their approach. Always eager to help in any way.Will continue to patronize this establishment and also recommend them, to my friends, associates and all other newcomers who have moved into our development.Keep up the good work.Wayne S.

DJ demonstrated honesty and integrity when he serviced our car. He did right by us, at his company's expense. We asked him to install new tires on the car, but when he examined our current tires, he found our problem wasn't the tires--it was the rim. So instead of paying for 2 new tires ($387) and installation ($95), we paid $40 to make repairs to the rim, which solved our slow air leak problem. He proved to be trustworthy--and what more could a customer ask?? We will continue using Three Star Auto!

Took care of a highly complex wiring issue with ease. I m from out of town and have been dealing with this issue for a few years and figured out where the electrical issue was coming from. it was a do or die kind of thing since I travel all over the country for work. I didn t have the tools or capability to do this since I m about seven or eight hours from home, but I was able to find Lew who helped me out and saved my truck from further issues. I really can t thank them enough it s critical that I continue to keep moving so I can keep working and surviving in this crazy game called life. so thanks again and if I have any further problems and I m around the area I ll definitely be going to you guys.

Incredible experience. So grateful to have found such an honest mechanic. I went in thinking I needed new tires and I didn t. They could ve sold me new tires and they would ve gotten money because I thought I needed them but, DJ told me that it was not necessary and my tires looked brand new. Excellent service excellent experience Strongly suggest!!

Great news to report about Three Star Auto Service Inc. New to the area my Honda needed an oil change so I stopped in and spoke to a mechanic for service. Was greeted warmly and professionally. The waiting area was immaculate as well as the restroom. Can you say that about ANY gas station/repair shop that you have been too? Car was finished promptly and the cost was very fair. I got the best service ! DJ was beyond helpful. Every step was explained, he worked so hard to negotiate with my warranty insurance co., he answered all my questions, filled me in on what stage the repair was in and why. Not 3 Starts....5 stars.....my Kia needed an Oil change, tire rotation, and brakes cked, etc. DJ made the appointment and I showed up and 45 minutes later my car was done and all a pleasant experience. Listening to DJ speak with the customers I said u shd be called the Car Dr. I'll be a return customer and highly recommend 3 Star Auto Service :)

Came in for no headlights around 3pm, because I saw the reviews on Google. Was definitely not disappointed!! Best electrician in the county, the man loves what he does and it shows. He treated my issue like a puzzle that needed solving, and did not give up until he solved it. Was back on the road before sundown, thank you sir for having passion for what you do. Your attitude towards my issue showed a quality human being. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing services, A+.

My Lexus is a 1992 model and a 29-year-old car. The car is still charming and runs well. Because of its old age, it needs maintenance and problems fixed once in a while. My car's mechanic is Three Star Auto Service's Chris. Chris has been caring for my Lexus for many years, and whenever the vehicle was brought to Chris, its problems would be fixed. I plan to keep my car as long as Chris is my mechanic.I do not doubt that Chris is a first-class mechanic with exceptional professional skills and the ability to fix any car's problems. His diagnosis has always been quick & accurate. The repair price was always reasonable, and the skills were superb.After so many years, I find Chris to be diligent, friendly, honest, and reliable. Let me just say that any Mercedes owner should realize that it's a complicated German vehicle for which parts and repairs can be very expensive. With that said... there is not enough good to say about Three Star. I'm a bit of a mechanic myself but there are things I can't do or don't have time to and I've been through a dozen bad "pro mechanics." Recently my weekend car (pride and joy), my Mercedes CL500 AMG developed a leak at the valve cover gaskets. Then... a dreaded electrical issue. I had considered a Mercedes specialist but after talking to Lew he assured me he could handle both issues. I do not trust this car in just anyone's hands but my past experiences with Lew & Chris were good so I went with it. Well, not only did they do a stellar job but the price was extremely fair. I have my baby back and I'm a happy man! Trust is a hard thing to come by and they've earned it. Thanks again guys!

We are so lucky to have Three Star Auto Service nearby, their honesty and expertise are the top grade. Today I brought my car in because the tire sensor light was on, DJ greet me with my name as I just walked in and checked my car right away, and within 10 minutes I was all set. DJ's warm and professional help reminded me of the good old days when people help each other sincerely. I can't say thank you enough. Thank You again DJ!Service: Tires

Chris and Three Star Auto were life savers for me and certainly my car today. I recently moved here and have been very busy and distracted. I thought my car maintenance was up to date enough to wait another month to change the oil etc.Nope maintenance required light came on and when I checked the oil I was running on sludge. I mean seriously low. I saw the positive reviews on google and Three Star Auto is very close to my new home so I took a chance. I stopped in and when I told them what was happening they fit my car in although normally an appointment is required for this service.This probably saved me from destroying my engine. Not only that after looking at my car Chris said your windshield wiper blades are worn would you like us to replaced them? Wow thank you! I had been having problems with the driver's side blade and had noticed the passenger side was slipping but I never thought to mention it.They checked and topped fluids and did a visual inspection of belts, hoses, etc.Also a shout out to DJ when I asked if I needed an appointment to winterize my car like flush the radiator. He said who told you that? Ah my last mechanic? He explained that only if for some reason I had water in the radiator would it need to be flushed. The same product is used in the radiator year round now. So I learned something.And now I have an appointment scheduled for my NJ State Inspection after my visit to NJDMV next week.Great service, professionalism and caring too. When your check engine light is on and the car sounds like a truck you need to seek help! That is what we did and I am happy to say we went to the right place. Brought in the car and met with DJ, one of the nicest mechanics I have ever met. He was honest and up front about all the work the car needed and the cost. He explained he needed to keep the car for a week to get things ordered, replaced and fixed properly. As promised it was done. I m always weary when getting my car worked on. I found 3 star after a hefty search about a year ago when they did my first oil change on my Mercedes glc300, and the price was fair. The service was better. They drove me to a local Dunkin so I could work remotely while they worked on my car, and picked me up when it was ready. A year later I brought it back. Price was still fair and service was the same. DJ is very authentic and knowledgeable. He tells you why he does the work he does, and is kind. I have good intuition and my gut tells me I m in good hands. Highly recommend this business for your auto needs.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tire rotations, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I moved here 3 years ago and this is the only place I go to. Dj knows a lot about tires and gives great suggestions. He even notices mistakes other tire shops makes. He is is very helpful and explains work very well. Lew the owner is a great master mechanic. He figures out the issues with cars other shops can't. I have even seen another local shop come to him for help. Chris and Tony are great mechanics that know what they are doing and get it done fast and right the first time. Three star auto is the best place to get your car serviced and checked

I've been coming to Three Star Auto Service for a little over a year. I was waiting to post my review after I've been there several times. I have to say after several visits I'm very pleased with their professionalism and honest service. One of the things that I like the most is they perform exactly the work that you've discussed with them and agreed to. It's very hard to find and honest professional shop to take your car nowadays. I have been taking my car to Three Star Auto over the years and the experience has been great. The employees take care of your automobile when servicing and also the work is completed in a timely fashion. The pricing is also fabulous. Another reason for me bringing my BMW X3 to Three Star is the honesty of the employees when diagnosing issues. I just had an oil leak in my SUV and it turned out to be one of the front struts going bad. Again, an honest assessment from the employees and a fair price to repair. I had an oil change and two front struts replaced and the price was fantastic. Honestly I don't think I could have done it cheaper doing the repairs myself. It is also hard to find a local garage to repair an import vehicle such as an BMW X3. I highly recommend Three Star Auto for all your vehicle repairs.

Hands down the best car service place in NJ. Even after moving I still drive out of my way to go here. Their prices are an par or better than anywhere else. Most importantly, they are honest and direct. If that wasn't enough, they are also really fast what a repair is needed. Highly recommended. The guy I dealt with was Chris and he's a true professional (they all are but he's exceptional). I don't know much about cars so it's nice to have a place that I can trust with workers who are both reliable and friendly.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes

My vehicle suffered a broken axle, and AAA towed me to Three Star. I had never gone to their shop, and at first was unsure about whether they provided this type of repair. However, I was pleasantly surprised at their professionalism and commitment to quality work. They perform traditional maintenance and complex repairs. My vehicle was satisfactorily repaired and back on the road the next day. I highly recommend them.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Three Star Auto is the only place I will bring my car, as well as my daughters. Lew is the most honest, caring owner I have met. His knowledge and experience is priceless. His mechanics are courteous and well diversified. These are just a few of the reasons why he has been in business close to 40 years! His shop adds such value to the Monroe area.
