Brought my 88rx7 here last week and couldn't be happier knowing that it's in good hands. Can't wait to get back on the road.. but I'm not even trying to rush it. I appreciate a thorough and dependable job, and I just know Paul and Ihor will treat my car with the attention it needs. Their expertise and experience is also fair for being specialists. If you're anywhere in the nnj or tri-state area, I highly recommend.

edit....if I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. You guys are awesome.Original post: After a "mediocre at best" experience with previous shops, I decided to take my car to IRP for some work. Called and set up an appointment, took the car, and immediately knew this was the right place to be. Very good people working there and running the shop. Went over everything on a list I gave them and they listened to and addressed all of my concerns. IR had my car for exactly 2 weeks and I spoke to the guys almost daily for updates. Very professional and knowledgeable, got everything done very fast, and does not make you feel like the job isn't worth their time because it's not big enough. Really happy with IRP and will definitely be going back for all my rotary upgrade needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ordered their polyurethane engine mounts for my FD RX-7. Through my own doing, I damaged a component of the mount while installing. I reached out to Paul at IR to place an order for the replacement component and he went above and beyond to help, he even overnighted the part (which I did not ask for). That level of customer service does not come often - I would absolutely recommend trusting IR with your rotary needs.

Top Notch facility with quality craftsmen.This place is rotary heaven. They have 7 lifts, a dyno cell, state of the art wire harnessing room, engine build room and a complete fab area. I got the tour and they had to keep lifting my jaw off the floor.Ihor, Paul, Nick and Danny all are friendly and courteous. They know their stuff. The facility is so clean it looks as though they can eat off the floors.I am so happy with my build, my car is fast and reliable. 2 things most rotary owners can't say. I also have to say my car came back cleaner then it was when I dropped it off.A++ Rotary Shop. Now I see why people ship them their cars from all over the world. I am happy my friend told me to go here.

Last summer I purchased a new RX7 motor from Paul that was to be delivered from Japan. Every month I was advised that there were delays and the engine was in transit. Eventually Paul completely stopped responding to my queries.Fortunately I purchased it using my VISA which offered me purchase protection in just this type of scenario.When VISA credited me for the lack of delivery, IR tried to dispute the claim even though they never delivered the engine. Eventually, it was clear to VISA when no supporting documentation was provided by IR and I was credited the purchase amount of $8000. This hassle took me over a year to resolve with a lot of wasted time and advance funds and extremely disappointed in the attempted scam.I read a similar review on FaceBook today with a similar story which is why I wrote of my experiences. Buyer beware if putting any money in advance

I purchased an IRP "upgraded" alternator and was not very happy. The alternator had some voltage dips, but IRP said the alternator tests fine on the bench and didn't want to refund me. After sharing some logs and clearing up some miscommunication they saw what I was speaking of and are in the process of refunding my order in full. I am happy IRP took the time and could be understanding of the situation. It shows they care about our awesome rotary community!

If you're an RX7 owner living anywhere in North America, this is the only place to send your car. Paul is a walking encyclopedia of all things RX7. FD, RX8 or FC, handled. Ihor and Co. are the best in the business and I'm blessed that that are right here in Central New Jersey. They replaced the engine in my beloved 2010 Mazda RX-8 and I was profoundly impressed by their knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail. What's more, they promised the work would be completed within two to three weeks and they 100% kept their word. Thank you gentlemen!

I bought an oil filler neck but in a hurry I didn t see the lead time on a non refundable part but they were understanding and refunded it anyways. Waiting my order since January have been calling from Greece over 100 times just to get in line once, no response on emails and the few emails they had the excuse that the whole staff has covid and its just the owner in the shop. Not recommended for anyone trying to buy overseas.

Paul and the guys at IRP are the best of the best. I cant accurately explain how good their customer service is, but by the end of my build Paul was like family. They took a car that was in pieces with a blown motor and built an absolute monster. If you have a rotary-powered Mazda this is the only place to take it! Hands down the best shop. I have many Mazda RX-7s and Ihor and the boys are the only ones who will ever touch them.

Ihor and the guys at IR Performance are the best in the business. Professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly. Any performance work I do to my car is done by myself or IR Performance, no one else.
