Great people and great shop. This was my first time here, per a recommendation from a friend. We've had some bad experiences with other shops, but Tony and the rest of the crew really redeemed it for the whole profession. Very easy to talk to, went out of their way to explain things, worked in a timely manner, and overall just good honest people.I will continue bringing my vehicles here and just the other day my wife went because her tire light kept coming on. We had patched one of the tires a year or so ago so wanted to make sure everything was okay. They checked to make sure it safe/wasn't anything serious, filled it up, and sent her on her way. They recommended we change it by next season and did not pressure or use any scare tactics in trying to get us to spend money, buying new tires. How refreshing. Thank you DAC!

Start of by telling everyone I don t go online and leave a review unless im wowed. Well I am!!! Living in Monroe 18 years I have driven by this place everyday. Figured it was an overpriced garage.I couldn t be farther from the truth. I hit a pothole today completely destroying the tire. With this economy I said let me give the little guy a job. Instead of a Big named Tire place.I walked in explaining what happened and I would like to replace both front tires. And if he could order and schedule install.Long story short they installed two new tires even dropped me off locally at my house and had it done same day with everyone and I mean everybody was friendly down there. Also the price was more than reasonable.I found a local shop if you need tires or repairs Give this smaller shop a try you won t regret it.Thank you to everyone here.

Great honest service. I took my 2021 that was 11000 miles out of Warranty they talked me into going to GM and the dealership with a service bulletin in hand. Gm is splitting the cost with me

This place is my new goto. All the mechanics are knowledgeable and fixed a prob 3 other places couldn't pinpoint. I'll be coming here for my maintenance and god forbid I break down this is the place I'll be. Prices are also more than fair.

This morning, I discovered a screw in my tire with a gradual pressure leak; and a couple places I called wouldn t plug it because it s a foam tire but the nice guy at the front desk was able to do it for me in no time during my lunch break. Highly recommend! Very efficient and professional!

Went for a quick tire replacement (mount & balance), and Joe was so nice! Took the rim and tire, told me two hours, and that they would check the plugs in the existing tire to see if they could save it. 15 minutes later, they informed me the plugs were not good, but did not recommend double plugging. They changed the tire... Called 15 minutes later and told me the tire was done! Great service... Will go back and try them for more maintenance items!Service: Tires

Let me start off by saying that when it comes to repair shops, I am very picky. But this place right here is where to go! They are professional. The waiting room is clean and smells so good. Mind you I don t live close , I m 45 min away . The tow was worth it because Tony came through with his promise. He gave me a peace of mind when I called him balling my eyes out. My car was FIXED AND RUNNING BEAUTIFULLY THE VERY NEXT DAY .Services: Electrical, Battery

We've been taking our cars here for years! They are always friendly, courteous and honest. Today, I dropped by without an appointment because I couldn't access the area to change my tail lights. I haven't been there in 2 years, but the owner remembered me and even where I worked. He stopped what he was doing (and he was busy), took the lights (which I bought at a chain auto store but THEY didn't have the tools to change the lights), got out his tools and changed them both for me in 10 minutes. Then he wouldn't let me pay him. I can't say enough about this place. You're in good hands here.

I have had multiple mechanics through my life but have not come close to finding one better and more professional than at discount. The owner Tony has the best customer service than anybody I ever dealt with in the business. Ever! He also has a tremendous amount of automotive knowledge. He and his staff are the only ones who have touched my vehicles in years. Great prices. Great atmosphere. I have been going to this repair shop for over ten years. Over the years with different vehicles. My three daughters also drive now and also have made a few stops here. Tony has been very accommodating and trustworthy. Friendly service, honest estimate, and charged me what it was worth and nothing more. The only place that will ever touch or look at my cars again. The owner Tony was a blessing to deal with, and mechanics were great. I went in for some repairs when they noticed my hitch should be welded for more support and did it for free. Oh and for comic relieve and company while waiting Smokey (sleepy not sure) Joe is probably sitting there

Want to thank Tony and everyone at Discount auto centers for the great service on my 2007 Monte Carlo SS. I was very nervous to find a place to take care of my car and after speaking to them about the problems with my car they had found they are very honest letting you know exactly what is wrong. I will 100 percent recommend them to anyone who needs work done on there vehicles. These guys are amazing! They saved me so much! Another place was trying to over charge big time. These guys fixed my exhaust quick and perfect! We used to go to this place for several years and were really happy with service and people. But it turned out this place is care about the money only.After major repair at this place my car started to get reoccurring problem with bearings. After changing (and being charged for parts and labor) them twice had to go to dealer and they found out first installation (major repair) was done wrong and started to cause all sets of problems. Also, at discount auto care I was told it is safe for me to drive even with the noise from bearings. Turned out my wheel was nearly falling. I could get into really bad car accident just because we trusted the place shouldn t. We spent extra $4000 just because of the mistake they made and when we tried to say it to the owner, he didn t listen and just blamed the dealer trying to kill small businesses and didn t admit that was their mistake.Another episode happened with the other car we have. A/C didn t work and we were told we need to change compressor (estimate $770).We had it done for $130 at another place, because they actually looked instead of blindly changing (and charging for everything). Turned out compressor was perfectly fine, but not connected.I have all the screenshots and pictures as proof if someone is interested in details.Please, please, be aware, they seem nice and friendly and acting on your behalf, but they will use your trust just to get extra dollar.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

Took my car in because of a flat tire. Found out it was because of busted rim. Told me I needed to get part and would do it. I had no problem with that. When they told me I had to move my car. Because I was taking up valuable space. So of course I am like where do I park it? Anywhere but here. Nice way to treat people. Yeah AC scam. I had a great experience with them on my first trip so I went back. They asked if I wanted the freon in my AC filled. Sure why not?A week later my AC wasn't working- they didn't put the whatever cap back on correctly so all the freon leaked out. Luckily we have a car savy friend who was able to ID the real issue, because these guys were trying to say it was a component issue and would cost $600 to fix.Sucks because I thought I had found an honest mechanic and we all know those are worth their weight in gold :/

I have always been a customer of DAC. Over the years I have brought all of my cars and my family s cars to them. Roy, Tony, and their staff constantly diagnose and estimate the repairs accurately, completing them on time. They continuously show good faith and excellent judgment when discussing any work with a friendly neighborhood approach. I am thankful to have a local auto service center that always gets the job done right. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Don t take your car anywhere else. This is it. This is where you take any of your vehicles to be repaired and maintained period. This crew will be honest and give you the legit best deal. It s only been a short time I ve been using them, but it s always a pleasant experience. They make you feel like family. This is how it should be. Horrible experience dealing with Tony today. I've dealt with Roy in the past and he was very fair. Tony charged me 90 dollars for an oil change without out even warning me how much it would be. Then he hit me for 25 dollars to rotate my tires. He also wanted to charge me 20 dollars for an oil filter that I could buy for 12 and which he probably gets for about 8 dollars. Shame on you Tony, you just lost a customer and any future referrals. Anyone know an honest and trustworthy mechanic that I could give my business to?
