Dominic is without a doubt the most honest mechanic in the area. I tried to give him $50 today because he spent a good deal of time diagnosing my car and he absolutely refused to take it given he did not end up performing any service given I decided to go another direction. Very knowledgeable and thorough as well. Go here before going to the dealer.

I was referred to Dominic by a good friend and fellow Jeep owner. Needing some urgent service after a poor dealer experience, I was told Dominic will have your back! Dominic was able to get me in (right before Labor Day), diagnose the issue and had the car back after the holiday. Not only was he able to quickly determine what needed to be done, he advised against some services that the dealer had recommended - likely saving me significant money and further stress. He s very personable and customer service was top-notch. I had my first experience with Checkered Flag Auto Service today and I will definitely go back there again. Dominick kept me aware of what was going on and what he found and was totally honest which is a breath of fresh air considering other repair shops I have dealt with. I couldn't recommend Dom enough, he was able to fit me into his schedule and get our work truck back in service right away. He was very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining what was wrong and the correct way to fix it.

Have driven by Dom's shop a million times in the last five years and never stopped. Glad I did recently. It is the cleanest shop around and Dom clearly takes pride in his work. The job I had was seemingly simple, oil change and change the three filters. He ordered in the parts and let me know I could drop the car off the next day. As he was towards the end of the job he called me to let me know that he wasn't happy with the quality of one of the parts he received. He ordered another, which arrived a day or two later and he had me come back for a quick 15 minute install. He deducted some of the labor charge, since I had to come back. He is obviously takes great pride in his work and I highly reccomend him. He even had bubbles for my kids :)

I cannot express enough how fantastic Dominick is! He did an incredible job with my 1967 Corvette and my Aston Martin! His knowledge of cars is unsurpassed! Prices are extremely reasonable. Everything was great from the start. I was referred to Dom at Checkered Flag by my employer and have been very happy with the service, prices, and overall care of my car. I had my brakes replaced first and then went back a few months later for an oil change. My car was due for a new battery so Dom recommended a few and made sure it was done on time so I could pick it up right after work. Very knowledgeable and fair prices. I felt like he took care of my car is if it was his. Awesome service from local shop. Very professional and very thorough in detail of what needed to be done. Good work, no short cuts. Again, phenomenal job! Easy to work & communicate with. Repair was done in a timely manner and car is in great operational order. Great service and very knowledgeable mechanic! Called and was able to get an appointment that day for issues with my car starting. Dom didn t have the battery in stock but was able to get one delivered and installed in under an hour. This was my first time here and I ll definitely be coming back for any future car issues I have. Honest Mechanic!!! Yes, you read that right, Dominick did a great job repairing our truck and guiding us through the process. When the job was completed the cost came out under what we paid and he refunded us the price difference. My wife owns a Nissan Murano and the car just wouldn't start. We contacted mechanic Dom, and by the time you know it. Dom came over our house to check on the SUV and told us exactly what the problem was. On the same day Dom gave me an estimate of what the total cost would be and when he can have the car ready by, this dealership is legit and I would 100% be using them again. Dom had my car back on the road the day that it came into his shop. I was extremely surprised because most places take forever. Dominick saved my Engine! Subraru V6 and it had the check engine light on for a while and I was not open to draining my wallet at the Service center or consider a new Vehicle in the inflated market we're in. Very very fairly priced and he went above and beyond the service hours he charged for to make sure that the job is done perfectly! Honestly, trust him with your car's toughest jobs, he is very knowledgeable and skilled and will patiently explain what he is doing in detail (that the common folk can understand). He caught other things that were wrong when encountered and he just fixed it on the spot. Very hard to find Mechanics and that have integrity, very skilled, and don't cost an arm and leg... Customer for life

I found checkered flag through Google and calling around to see what shop would be willing to do a clutch replacement on my 04 Subaru Impreza WRX, I usually do my repairs on my own but I didn't have the downtime or the tools I needed to do it so I went with Dom as many other shops weren't willing to do it.I met Dom and he was very straightforward and open with parts and labor costs and it may have took longer than we both expected to get it done because of some unseen challenges with bolts being the wrong size as well as them being seized into the transmission.Dom didn't charge me for the extra labor hours over the expected fix time even when it was double the expected time, and when things weren't running exactly the same afterwards I went and picked up parts and he installed and/or fixed the problem for no extra charge.Overall great service and a great guy to talk to especially if you're into cars!Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Transmission repair

Dom is a great guy. My car had the check engine light on and needed brakes. He did work for my for my uncle so I decided do use him for my repairs. I thought I had a leak, Dom found out that I actually had a cracked fuel tank and thankfully he was able to get it replaced quickly. He s an excellent mechanic and I highly recommend his services. The man s prices are fair and honest, and honestly he ll probably work with you if you need it. 100% will go again for future work as needed.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change
