They only got two stars cuz I got my inspection. New Jersey is so backwards... I was turned away by one inspector because I didn't have my paper registration. Circled back through and got a different gentleman and had no problems. Consistency please?consistency please?

I arrived for my test at 2:30 and the guy I got (he was African American and large, I don't know his badge number) was very rude and inconsiderate of anything I asked/said. I greeted him very nicely and he just stared at me. I was being kind the entire time, using manners and he would just be rude or not say anything. He made me feel extremely nervous when I wasn't before. He told the adult I came with that I did everything correct just after my parallel parking, I brushed a cone. I did not hit it, he wasn't paying close attention. I don't understand why people like this work here if they are going to be intimidating, condescending, and make us 17 year olds feel uneasy. I hope I don't get him when I go back.

This location is quick and efficient. Of course you want to avoid the end and beginning of any month as people are rushing to catch up. Once in , the whole inspection took less than 10 minutes.

Instructor #5329 is so rude. She said I didn t come to a complete stop when I did. She was so being rude, I cried afterwards. I hope I don t get her next time, I ve read past reviews, everyone says the same thing about her all the time.

Rooms are always clean here. Breakfast is very good. But the location means rooms are noisy from Route 1 traffic and almost every time I go something in the room is broken.

Instructor 5239 was extremely rude, she treated both me and my companion so bad during the car test. There was no valid reason for her to ask me to repeat the test. She is one of the worst people I have ever met in the USA.

Typical DMV. Web site says open till 4:30. Arrived at 1:50.. its closed. Our tax dollars hard at work.. btw. Weather is 42 degrees and partly sunny. No excuse.

Not a long wait. It's nice that you can go online and see how many cars are there waiting. When they took my car in, it took like 4 minutes and I passed. They were all very friendly.

Took my daughter there for her road test and had the worst experience ever with a female instructor. NOT surprised to see so many negative reviews about her and SAD that this continues to happen to already stressed and nervous teenagers who are learning to drive. I am not sad that she failed us but i am frustrated that the only thing my daughter learned that day is how NOT to treat anyone ever!! I wish she had a chance to learn what she can do right and what she needs to work on more. This woman was rude and she clearly hated every minute of her job. I hope she'll find some happiness in life.

Had a very pleasant experience here today doing my road test today , instructor #7579 was very professional and had a great attitude I am very glad she was examinerPassed road test, didn't wait long great service.

Examiner #5239 is a rude and arrogant human being. As soon as she got into the car I said hi how are you she replied with go straight I brushed it off and still had a positive attitude even though I was nervous. I stopped at the stop sign a rulers distance away from the white line and she said you need to stop before the line . I responded with oh I m sorry I thought I was she then goes I m not here to argue with you I then brushed it off because I was not going to argue with someone who has the ability to pass me or not. I am also not a rude person. I started the test with respect and followed that through the whole way even with her being very disrespectful. I then asked asked which way she would like me to go she responded with I said go right you need to listen I again brushed it off and turned my right signal on I then slowly accelerated as I was making sure there was no cars coming my way. She had her eyes closed the whole entire time. I then had to turn into a roundabout time area and when completed I asked which way she wanted to go and she responded with that way . She did not point she did not say left or right. Then as I stopped and asked which way again she proceeded to throw the steering wheel left and said go straight . How would going straight result in me having the turn the wheel left? Then we get to the parallel parking area and she said go to the cones. I asked which ones because there was a whole bunch of them. She then said the only ones over there as she huffed. I said I was sorry as went over to the cones. I have been practicing parallel parking for months and I like to say I am very good at it. I feel as though the mirrors are better than the back up camera. As I was reversing I turn my whole body to see out my back window and indeed parked straight. She mad me do it again and then asked if I thought I was good I said yes because I was confident in my parking. We then went back into the road to go back to the front and she told me I needed to slow down. I had my dash set so that it would have the mph in big letters. The speed limit was 15, at the turn I was going 5. I said I was sorry and I thought thought that this would be a good speed for turning. She again replied with I m not here to argue with you little girl . At this point I was defeated I came into the test with a smile and a positive attitude but this lady broke me down. We get to where my dad was waiting and she proceed to say that I was argumentative and not fit to drive. She failed me. I have never been told I was a bad driver. I did driving school and frequently practiced driving. She had something up her butt the whole time and SHE is not fit to be an instructor. This facility has had multiple problems with examiner # 5239 and has done nothing about it. I will be calling to file a report against her as well as this facility. DO NOT COME HERE.

staff was so rude, first time i came, they denied me, then second time i came, they failed me just because i was too anxious and cautious . way to embarrass and make fun of new teen drivers. i wouldn t even recommend my worst enemy to come here. go literally anywhere else.

What an awful experience for my daughter all because of #5239. She was so rude & nasty from the minute she walked up to the car. It seems as though she immediately wants to make these young kids feel intimidated & nervous. She didnt pass my daughter b/c she said she did not stop exactly where she needed to at the stop sign. She gave no explanation & said you failed go back. It wasnt even the fact that my daughter didnt pass, it was how rude & terrible & unkind of a human being she is!!! We went to Salem for the 2nd time & had the most pleasant positive experience. The instructor was everything one should be!!! If you are reading this I highly advice going to Salem to avoid the risk of having instructor 5239!!!

The motor vehicle driving instructors in Mays Landing are the most rudest folks I ever met. They are very rude to the people trying to get there license. Took my daughter to get her driving test we had instructor badge 5239 an African American woman. believe her name is Rochelle and she was so rude and mean. She denied us the test and was raising her voice to us. She had my daughter in tears and me as a parent had to step in and say something about her conduct. Her response was I know what I am doing I work for DMV. So working for DMV gives you the right to be mean to folks. I seen the reviews and complaints for this lady. There are way to many. If you see her be prepared to have a rough test if she lets you take it. I am going to contact the higher ups about this place. They are unprofessional at this place. Please all beware if you pull up and see this person. I rather deal with a lion than this woman. She is taking her job and using it for power trips. Any how anyone who has this chic praying for you. I had to take myself out of licensed driver into parent mode. She didn t like what had to say but what she not going do mistreat my child. I will be again calling corporate and filing a complaint. The managers need to give them sensitivity training. If I treated my customers like this at work I be fired. The DMV should have rules of conduct. Beware of this lady and Mays Landing DMV.

#5239 is very rude and disrespectful, and while I was taking my test she was on the phone, she had her AirPods in and then has the nerves to talk about safety like what? #5239 is just very rude

my worst experience today, 5239 The examiner was very rude, rude, arrogant and very racist, I don't understand why they can't be friendly, that doesn't stop them from being and behaving like a professional, generally people, even if they know how to drive, get Nervous, and it is something normal, but when you see such a bad attitude or know that you like it or not, you have to put up with it so that they don't fail you without having started, that type of people are not suitable to work in that type of job.

I can never figure out why everyone complains about getting their vehicle inspected because this place rocks. Always professional, always kind, always fast service. I think they're probably the best I've ever been to. Maybe they're a hidden gem, but everyone should go to this location. They truly are great. Wonderful service, Wonderful human beings.
