This was the worst motel I've ever stayed in. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The room was very outdated. We had an ant problem in our room. When we made the staff aware, they gave me a bottle of disinfectant and a rag. Our room had a jacuzzi. It had brown slime foam in the water when we turned the jets on. (From the jets not being cleaned). The mirrors were so filthy. Bath towels had big holes in them. The pool was disgusting. Soft spots in the floor of the pool. It looked like it wasn't cleaned in quite a while. Way overpriced for what you get.

An overall great value. Rooms were decent with all the standard amenities. Floors were a little dirty but right outside of the door is the sidewalk and parking. Floors were new wood lament. With renting two rooms, one tub would back up during showers but the other was fine. Plenty of towels and toiletries available. The continental breakfast was standard with bagels, waffles, toast, coffee, juice and cereals. Forrest and grassland views in the back. The pool was open and functional; my kids who swam gave it 4 stars because the small kiddie pool was not available. We would stay here again.

As we walked into the room, there was a roach on its back right at the foot of the door. The water smelled of metal/wet Pennies even after running it for 25 minutes. Bed was comfortable but there was stains on the bed pad and sheets. I would recommend booking for 2 nights max if you re in a budget. The rooms smelled of smoke from the connecting room/s. If you plan to hangout outside, expect lots of bugs swarming the whole property. Other than that, our room was cleaned daily and the employees were very friendly and respectful!

One of the worst experiences I ve had at a hotel. After driving around the building to the room we were first alarmed at the door to the room not being closed all the way. Upon entering the room, we were greeted by unmade/dirty beds, a slew of trash from the previous guest, and stained and damp towels in the bathroom with a lovely surprise in the toilet.Back at the front desk, the owner/manager had seemingly no idea the room was not ready for guests, and decided the best customer service for the situation was to have the room quickly cleaned, while refusing to offer any upgrade, discount, or ultimately a refund. Luckily we were able to get a refund through the online booking website to avoid losing all our money or spending a night in this dirty horror show hotel.

I m going to be honest service and staff seemed polite but this is absolutely a 2 star hotel. My sink wouldn t drain and couldn t get the tub to turn off so while I m trying to get ready to leave I couldn t even bathe my child maintenance ran in and out of my room. Luckily tub didn t overflow, there is a free breakfast just bagels, cereal and had I had less plans and the weather would ve been nicer pool would have been nice feature (did look at in person just didn t have time, looked clean)

I really appreciated the time and the service to accommodate our needs, and for a low price during the busy time of the 4th of July they were still accommodating to our requests. They also had a light breakfast in the morning for us. This was the most pleasant stay and worth the price we paid for. This is a great place for families because there is a pool , basketball net, and a lot of land nearby for kids to play in, for coming from the ocean city which is exactly 10 minutes away from here, this was the perfect place for me and my buddies to stay at.Noteworthy details: The pictures are different on the website and more modern in person.

We were given a king room with no less than 80 dead roaches that were on the floor, bathroom, tub and in the bed. I politely told them and they offered to move us to another room which was also infested. They told us they would have housekeepers take care of it the next day. There was no way we could sleep here. They refused to refund us our money

Absolutely disgusting. $400 for two nights. First room they gave me was very dirty. Hair, dead flies, dirt all over the shower. bed with crumbs on it. Some lights didn t work. Requested a new room. The new one wasn t much better. Not as disgusting and clearly also wasn t cleaned, but at least the lights worked! Bed and sheets smelled, I felt creeped out even sleeping in it. Took a wet towel and wiped the floor to test cleanliness.. The white towel turned black after one wipe. Also a few Degenerates living here. The types that live in motels . That should tell you enough of the type of place this is. Stay away! Save your money. It s worth spending an extra $50 -$100 for somewhere else that has clean rooms. Not worth your health, money, or time staying here

Terrible hotel. First room they gave me - was ALREADY occupied by someone else... Use my key, Walk into the room, and there's a pizza box on the bed, a suitcase, and someone was in the shower. Obviously left immediately.2nd room they gave us was dirty, didn't have hot water in the showers. Zero hot water... And shower was falling apart...and when looking for an outlet, I found a random pair of women's underwear/spanks in my bed, that was not removed during cleanup.Absolutely terrible experience, and not worth the money at all. This hotel should not charge 20, let alone 150+

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriend, it was a nice stay, with quick access to the beach. Ofcourse the rooms could use an update but it was good for the price we paid. The only negative i could say, was the shower is very small, & there is no wifi on the location.Nearby activities: Ocean City beach & boardwalk is 10 -15 drive from this motel

Could it use a update? Yes! Are the rooms 5 Star rooms? No! BUT, for the price it isn't bad 17 mind from ocean city boardwalk 30 min from Wildwood. The pool is a nice size and CLEAN! there is 1 little charcoal grill there to cook on and some grass space if you bring kids they can run around on. We just came for a overnight stay but will be bringing the kids for a few nights and I have no problem coming back. I'm here to go out and do things not stay in the room! Therefore for the price I will be back.

The first thing you notice is that the walls are peeling, everything is absolutely filthy, the air conditioner is caked with dust, the headboard is just a piece of the flooring it s terrible. For their Continental breakfast you have the choice between moldy bagels with chunky cream cheese or bug infested cereal. Yum. The keycards didn t work on multiple occasions and EVERYTHING smells. The reason we chose this hotel was because they had a pool however we weren t able to use the pool because it was overrun with algae (think the toxic green color you normally only see in cartoons). The tile around the jacuzzi was very slippery & due to the hotel s negligence & lack of proper warning signs my husband slipped getting out of the jacuzzi and hit his head on the tile floor really really hard. There was blood everywhere and he didn t move right away and I literally thought he was dead. It was absolutely traumatizing. We obviously had leave to seek medical treatment. He had significant blood loss and ended up with numerous stitches. When I asked about getting a refund since we had to leave, they became very rude and hostile and complained about the fact that there was blood on some of their towels. They said we should have just come back after my husband was released from the hospital to finish our vacation. They showed absolutely no concern and never once asked if my husband was okay. In fact, they flat out said it wasn t their problem and hung up on me multiple times. Now they refuse to correspond with me about the issue.

We paid $190 a night to stay here in June, this was way too expensive for what is really a very low quality motel. We had multiple rooms, in one room, the hot water knob fell off in the shower. In my room, the toilet ran all night and the shower was terrible. This morning, some sort of bug took a stroll across the floor of the bath. The fridge's freezer in the room would not freeze anything. The TV got just one channel. They repainted my room's walls, but didn't bother to spackle all the holes in the wall. Just outside my room, there were cigarette butts strewn everywhere and there was other trash all around the grounds.A complete lack of maintenance overall. This place is a 1 star, or less.

Everything in the room was brand new, and I really enjoyed the classic motel layout and touches, highly enjoyed my stay! And just as importantly all the staff I met were so kind and lovely. Chairs and table were outside of most of the rooms, the coffee was good, and I enjoyed the relaxing nature surrounding. Right next to Wawa, Shoprite, local bakery etc. Recommend to anyone looking for a more classic shore stay <3

This motel is so musty, the bathroom walls are peeling, there are holes in the walls, the beds aren't even clean, the towels are wet and stained, the pool is never clean. If i could rate a -5 i would. When i attempt to fall asleep you always have a feeling there is something crawling on you. Also, some neighbors are horrible, one of them yelled at my family for chilling at the pool .

Nastiest, most out dated, horrible smelling hotel I've ever seen and also the most expensive. The headboard for our bed was a piece of particle board screwed to the wall. The toilet was leaking water on the floor. The chemical smell from I guess what they used to "clean" the room was so strong that we checked out after being in the room a short period of time because we all had headaches from the fumes. Over 300 dollars for the nasty room and the owner wouldn't give any kind of a refund at all nor cared how poor the condition of his "hotel" was. just told us we could leave. Completely unsanitary.

It was great for a last minute stay up here I give it that but when we went in we found out quickly why it was...the sheets were dirty on the one bed the paint was chipping and peeling so bad in the tub we didn't even shower there. There was holes that were badly patched up and the tiles were falling apart and put back bad. The floor was sticky also we walked around in our shoes. The curtain was broke so we could not close it all the way. It was not a good night for us.

I have no words to describe how utterly disgusting this lodge is. The first thing you notice upon stepping in the room is a musty odor. The towels have stains on them. The bed and sheets have a disgusting musty smell to them. The wall paint is cracking at many areas. The furnitures are sticky. And hot water is not always available. Avoid this lodge like the plague.

Look, it ain t the Ritz, but it served it s purpose. We needed a place to sleep while we went to the shore, and while some of the accoutrements of this hotel are a little dated, it totally does the job and is a decent value for the money. Our room was also very clean and the wood laminate floors make total sense for the sand that you will inevitably track in from the beach.

We just love it here. Stayed here and this was the place for our guests/family at our wedding 9 years ago because they gave us the best rate. Doesn't look like much, but the sheets aren't nubby, it's quiet, and in season they even have a pool.

I would not even give this one star. There were cockroaches in the room. The toilet didn t flush. It smelled dirty. My keycard didn t work. I was there a whole 15 minutes and the guy refused to give my money back as if this was my fault that i wanted to cancel. It is not my fault the place is not kept up right and is dirty. I would not recommend this for ANYONE.

Price is great, only a 5 minute drive to Ocean City boardwalk, free breakfast is fresh and tasty, staff is very accommodating and friendly, nothing smelled bad, stores are within walking distance, and the lawn is huge making it a great place to play games with the kids or take nature walks. Only problems we had was our room card key didn't work and the shower is awful. We would definitely stay here again though.

Called ahead of time to make sure room would be ready by 2, was promised. Arrived after 2:30 and service had just entered the room to begin cleaning-rudely told us we d have to wait another 30 minutes. The woman cleaning was very rude about it. After our wait, our room key did not work. The host was nice about this and apologized, he also was there to open up our room for us right away even when we got back around 1 am after a night out. I wouldn't say the room was nice or the check-in was smooth, but it fulfilled our need and the host correcting the inconvenience did make it a little better.

Giving this place one star is to much. The place was swarming with teenagers, smelled like an ashtray, no handle on any of the dresser drawers, shoes sticking to the bathroom floor, burn holes on the comforter, holes in the bathroom walls, lock not working on the front door and when we got back to the hotel after being gone the whole day, our door was open. This place is a disgrace. After getting back to our place that night and seeing the door open, we wanted a refund. We didn t feel safe. The door was so damaged that you could see through it when it was closed. We never even brought our bags into the hotel when we got there because it was so disgusting. I demanded a refund and the man behind the counter refused. He said that we left the door open and this was a safe place to stay. Yea right. Do not stay here. Anywhere but here.

I checked into our room and left within 10 minutes. The room smelled, but we did choose a smoking room. I proceeded to go to the bathroom & I told my husband there was a puddle. We called the the attendant & he said he ll check it out when he arrived he said to lift the toilet lid when we want to flush & pull the lever. I have to touch the dirty lid & lever every time I have to go to the bathroom? My husband asked for a new room & the attendant said shut up, if you don t like it leave . Worst experience of my life. I feel like during this horrible pandemic, people should be more accommodating & especially clean!
