Bill and Gary are magicians with transmission! My 12 year old car is running so quiet and smooth and can actually accelerate up an incline without struggling now after a standard transmission maintenance service.Very reasonable pricing and turnaround time.They also rebuilt my transmission 3.5 years ago and I haven't had anymore issues with the transmission since then.

We took a 03 Mustang there with clutch issues. Gary was very informative when I first called about the issue and provided an estimate quickly. During the process, Gary and the team kept us informed of the progress and he was very patient with me when I called and asked questions. Got the car back today and the transmission shifts like butter. I am so happy I found this shop and will take all my transmission issues there. Thanks again Gary and team!!!Service: Transmission

Had my 2003 Acura MDX towed to Transmission Shop of Marlton when I was driving, and it stopped moving. Guys were great! Gary called me to tell me that the lines blew out of the radiator, that s why I lost all the trans fluid. Took care of the repair in a very timely manner, and now it drives like it did when I got it. Sometimes it s not the services that are performed on a vehicle, but the honest advice you receive that makes a world of difference. That was our experience when we had to push our Honda Pilot off the NJ Turnpike to this shop on a Sunday after it broke down 125 miles from where it was previously repaired by another place in MD that ripped us off and clearly didn t diagnosis or fix our vehicle. Their accurate diagnosis and estimate of the cost helped us make an informed decision that the vehicle wasn t worth repairing, and didn t even charge for the assessment. I brought my old 99 grand marquis in because the car was starting out in 2nd gear. I suspected valve body trouble or the trans required a rebuild. I was expecting to spend big money.The gentleman calls me the next day and says ok you re good to go . He stated all I needed was a drain and fill and new filter and that solved the issue. He was right!!It s been about a year and the transmission is still shifting perfectly fine.I think any other trans shop would have said it needs a rebuild. These guys are awesome. They re real men of the trade,they are not the typical big chain store auto repair shops looking to rip people off. They re honest,quick,and professional. After a quick Google search for shops near me, I dropped my car off at 930am with what was clearly transmission trouble. Bill was polite, effective, and straightforward about the problem. By 2pm I had answers, and I picked my car up around dinnertime for $200. 10/10, strongly recommend. It's usually "cheap, fast, good - pick two" this place was all three, hands down. Hopefully I don't need to go back, but if I have further problems, I definitely will.

Brought my SUV here for a transmission cooler because I use this vehicle to tow a 6000 lb camper and the trans was overheating. They took the time to diagnose why this was happening in the first place and opted not to replace the stock trans cooler and correct the problem. Went on a long trip last weekend and it worked great. Charged me less than half what a new transmission cooler would have cost. Great Honest Shop! Also, they are a separate business from Quality Auto, make sure when dropping off your vehicle you go to the right place.

Gary and Rob are great! They told me what was wrong and didn t try to come up with 5 more things I should get done, like most mechanics! I took it in about 830am and they called me about 1030 and said it was done! The price was reasonable and now I no longer have to put transmission fluid in my car every two days!

Took it in expecting to pay an arm and a leg and have no car for a few days. Dropped it off at noon and by 4 it was fixed and for something simple. It was a fair price which was really great. The owner is a great guy and his shop does excellent work. It is now a year later after they performed a complete rebuild on my Volvo transmission and it still runs like new. I referred them to a friend and he had his Volvo trans. rebuilt by them also and he is just as happy with their work. I can't say enough great things about The Transmission Shop of Marlton!

This shop does incredible work. I brought in my Jeep that had serious transmission issues. They properly diagnosed the problem, communicated with me in the detail, ordered special parts required, and did a super job with the re-build. On top of that, they were able to repair a leak I have in the slave cylinder. Highest rating.

The transmission started to fail right before we needed the Jeep for vacation. They were able to rebuild the transmission and trouble shoot and replace the faulty ECM in time for our trip. The price was very reasonable.

We thought we were having a transmission problem as the car was lurching forward & it sounded like something was grinding a bit. A mechanic said he could look at it immediately & drove it in the parking lot. He said that it wasn't the transmission but that the brakes were seizing up. He said he was surprised that we hadn't hit a wall or gotten into some sort of accident yet. He said he had trouble getting it to reverse & worse, had difficulty stopping the car. He put the car in neutral & showed us how the car wouldn't move when pushed upon. My husband admitted that he was trying to figure out if the car was worth fixing or if he should purchase another used car. The mechanic said he personally likes to use cars up until they're truly dead. Hub said he'll have to see if the repair cost is higher than the car's estimated value via Edmunds. He was asked where we usually go. After admitting to usually using Pep Boys the mechanic let us know he wouldn't use them. We admitted to using the shop next door (Quality, which is actually the building in front of Transmission Shop) once before with good results & he said that people have stated to him that they feel the prices there are high. We appreciated that he was helpful & took his time with us despite knowing that he wasn't getting our immediate business. We also appreciated that he spoke honestly about other businesses without trashing them or seeming like he was gossiping. He didn't seem joyful & was even slightly hesitant when passing on that others think Quality's prices are higher. After thanking him I told him that whenever we did encounter transmission issues that we would hire him. My husband was so impressed he told me he thought we should post a review for the shop. At 1st I wasn't sure as we technically didn't hire him for work. After thinking about it I realized that this was info I would appreciate having regardless as being open & helpful are almost as important as a properly done job. If we hire him in the future I'll add that info to this review.Lastly, I decided to drive the car home to see if I could experience anything. I stayed just under 40 mph & at one light it took a second for the car to slow then stop after hitting the brakes. It felt like something was grinding in the car during the drive, too. I was mad that my husband had been driving it, admitted that it felt like I was driving an actual death trap, & said we weren't doing it anymore. He said he hadn't experienced any braking issues at all just some lurching & grinding. I'm so glad the mechanic let us know how serious he thought the issue was because if he hadn't it wouldn't have been driven home so cautiously & I may have ended up rolling out into Route 73 end of work day traffic getting hurt or worse.

The service here was phenomenal! I am a young woman and consistently have terrible experiences at Auto Shops because they attempt to rip me off. Went in convinced that I needed a new transmission but they correctly diagnosed the real problem and had my car up and running like new the very same day. They even drove me home so I could get my son s car to go to work while my car was being repaired so I did not miss work. What a relief! Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

These guys were GREAT! Replaced my clutch in 1-day plus helped me resolve an issue with my turbo charger (not there normal work area). If you have a driveline problem clutch or tranny back, this is the place.

Great service and friendly staff. After having a small issue with my transmission, I received a quick answer and estimate. Far more than what I received at Pep Boys. They wanted my car for the day.

Took car to have transmission checked. It was shifting rough and leaking. Gary checked and said nothing he could do about the rough shifting and said transmission working ok. The leak he would fix. I said ok fix leak which he did. 1 week later leaking again.
