Pep boys doesn't post the prices of an oil change on their site. it just says "$10 off" or something like that. I was shocked to be billed for $125 for a synthetic oil change for a toyota 4 cylinder. Way too expensive and I feel the purposely kept the price a secret until the service was complete. never again.

The Manager Dave took me in close to closing time. We had slow leak in the rear tire. He said no problem. He was very courteous, very quick, and very efficient. I definitely would recommend Pep Boys.

The technicians and staff were professional, courteous and fast In getting a flat tire repaired on my SUV! One technician in particular went above and beyond helping me retrieve the stuck flat tire out of the trunk! I highly recommend this facility!

The guys here are the best. I have gotten 3 oil changes and purchased 4 new tires from this same location and they are quick and I have not had a single issue with any of my services. I will be coming here for the foreseeable future.

Booking an appointment does not determine when the work starts on your car, that is crazy. How about I book a reservation at my favorite restaurant at 5-pm but am not seated till 9-pm that would be crazy right ?

BEWARE SCAMMERS - I took my car to this pep boys for an oil change. I had an appointment, but they told me they were short technicians and it would take 90 mins. I waited. When I was checking out, the tech told me you should make sure to get a tune-up soon and when I got in my car I noticed that they forgot to change the sticker telling me when I should get my next one. I thought that was all a bit strange. 2 weeks later, the oil light in my car came on. We checked my oil level and there was almost none. My husband had to put several quarts in my car and my car was not and is not leaking oil. I went and got the paperwork to show him what they had supposedly done and noticed a note typed at the bottom of the paperwork that said not sure which oil change. They scammed me and charge me for an oil change that they did not do. Since we had to put our own oil in the car just for me to be able to drive it, I have no way to prove it and am just out the money.

About an hour before closing, i called the Pep Boys on Route 38 and Lenola Rd. I spoke with Dave and explained that my tire was not holding pressure. He told to stop by and he have a tech take a look at it. My car was take in immediately and the issue was identified and fixed. Definitely 5 star service !

To ask to evaluate quality for a routine maintenence 1 day after a spark plug replacement. is useless. Less that 5 stars is a criticism of your evaluation process, not the guys in the shop

I went in to Pep Boys this week for an oil change. They worked quickly, answered my questions, and were very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me when we ran into an issue with a stuck oil cap. The didn't charge me for their time and helped me figure out next steps to solve the issue. I couldn't be happier with their customer service, a good outcome for me was clearly their top priority. Thank you Pep Boys guy in the black coat with the beard whose name I unfortunately forget!

Paid for a diagnostic. All I got was a verbal instruction that I needed brakes. Nothing on the written diagnostic report so whe. I brought it to my mechanic it was useless and provided no Information at all.

My battery died and I called ahead to see if they could fit me in for a battery replacement. I did not have to make an appointment but there appeared to be plenty on time slots available online. The service manager Brian Cortese very nice over the phone, and when I finally got jumped and was able to come in, he simultaneously was working the front end AND changed my battery. It's clear that they need more employees, but I'm grateful that Brian took the time to help me out even with other customers waiting. When I come here for oil changes, I usually make an appointment and it takes about an hour. I'm satisfied with the customer service I receive here.**Update 3 years later and I m still very happy with this store. Pete, Cooper, and Tim went above and beyond to help me. I had my tires rotated (I honestly don t know the last time I asked for it) and the next day this terrible sound started from my car. So obviously, I panicked. I came in to see if I hit something, and they re-checked my car, ensured I was safe, and then explained that the sound was just my tires from being worn down in certain areas. The team was professional and made sure I understood what happened. I will continue to use this store.

The Pep Boys in Maple Shade have been wonderful! They have quickly done services on our vehicles for a couple of years. I have never received poor service. Their prices have been comparable to other service companies, but I keep coming back to the same store because their service agents have been polite & efficient.Thank you and see you again soon!

I came in to get tires, checked and replace them if they would needed and I met the young man at the desk and the mechanic, they were both wonderful, polite, professional, and honest. They told me nothing was wrong with my car. They didn t charge me for anything they didn t go outside of the norm and try to charge me for something that wasn t broken. These guys are absolutely wonderful. I ll be back to see them again on route 38 thank you so much.

A dealership told me I needed a new tire. I took the car to Pep Boys where they confirmed a new tire wasn't needed because it was just a nail. They removed the nail, repaired the tire, and sent me on my way free of charge!

Great experience! We never felt pressured to spend more than we could afford, and we re kept in the loop throughout the experience. They didn t have the tires we needed on premises but were able to get the ones we needed in quite quickly! It only ended up being about a half hour delay. We got our two front tires replaced, warranty on the tires, and a leak patched on a back tire for a bit less than $300. The techs were very kind and knowledgeable. Recommended!

Had upgraded bushings and sway bars installed at another shop who told me to get an alignment because they do not have an alignment machine. Called this shop who said they could get it done same day for me. The alignment was not done properly after taking it back after picking up the first time. Also the printer for their alignment machine is broken so they couldn t show me that the alignment was properly done. The tech who I spoke to did not seem very knowledgeable as to what he was doing either because he stated that he only did a front end alignment on my car because I saw the steering wheel wasn t straight. I say this also, because I used to be an assistant manager at another Pepboys location. But atleast the guy at the front desk was pleasant.

This was a terrible experience dropped my car off told this young man Dave who took the keys. This was a Car Shield job evidently did not pay attention but the funny part is I got a call from their tech later on on my wife s 2011 Jetta saying that we needed to have another diagnostic and that CAR SHEILD was not going to pay for it was going to cost me out-of-pocket $120, I said no problem then I find out that the Pep Boys did not even call Car Shield and that I was going to be responsible For the amount of $564.14 I spoke to Chris much more professional and got the bill down to 403.00 between car shield and pep boys staff done with car shield and will never use pep boys againTwo problems here number one that young man Dave should learn about customer relations instead of acting like a little baby throwing things in front of Customers this is not a video game this is the real world such an attitude for dealing with people in public. If that if he was working for me he would immediately be reprimanded for his actions throws the mouse on the computer, while customers are standing there, and then walks into the shop, like some sort of spoiled baby.Before we got there I called up and tell them that I m on my way to pick up the car. I get there and the other manager Cooper tells me that we were supposed to wait for a call from them to pick up the car with a half hour earlier. I spoke to the other gentleman, Dave and told him we are on our way. Then when we arrive, we had to wait until Car Shield deducted $138 from the total bill These guys make the keystone cops look like brain surgeons and for all you people that are thinking about using car shield think again if your garage does not call it in your responsible for the amount (all of it )I had the platinum package with Car Shield . The only thing they covered was $38.

HAINSPORT, NJ location. Made an appointment and still could not honor the time slot. Every excuse in the book as to why they couldn t take me at my assigned slot. What is the point of booking then???? Never will go back

Great prices on oil changes. Honest mechanics that don't try to sell you on extra work. They are very knowledgeable compared to a lot of shops. Have only gotten tires and oil changes done but the best part is they always have promotions and coupons. Most times you can make an appointment same day and shop at the mall or others stores so super convenient.
