Best local mechanic around. Knows his cars and how to treat his customers. Great all around service and convenient night drop. PS, they are very passionate about regular oil changes.

We moved fairly recently to Manasquan and needed to find a trusted place to have our 3 vehicles taken care of. In the past 8 months we have utilized Frank's Auto Repair 5 times. Each time the repairs were professionally done, we were continually updated with progress, and the prices were very fair. Very happy overall with each experience and will continue to use Frank's Auto Repair for all future car/SUV repairs and maintenance. On my recent visit to Manasquan my car was in great need of an alignment and new tires. They took me rt in and ordered the tires I asked for and didn't try to sell me another brand . They did a wonderful job on the alignment and sent me off w my badly needed new tires and I was in my way. They were very kind and helpful to me. I visit the area often and will return again. Owners were beyond unprofessional and rude. I was told I was impatient because I asked for an estimate time of repair after my vehicle sat there for three weeks with no updates from the shop. I found much cheaper options with more competent mechanics . I have documentation of my experience if the owner would like to refute my experience.Edit: locally I have found a plethora of friendly and knowledgeable mechanics. Apparently, the mechanic had my vehicle sit for three weeks outside, while the shop waited to outsource the needed service and upcharge with a tax . If it had been fixed in a reasonable time, the owner (mechanic) would have been able to make a couple hundred dollars (upcharge). I see the owner does not care to comment.

Outstanding experience with Frank s!!! Kathleen, John and the team are very honest, friendly and knowledgeable! Called in the morning for brakes and a few other minor repairs. My car was ready early that afternoon! John even offered to drive me home when I dropped off my car!Excellent value and lifetime warranty on brakes - great deal! This was my first repair at Frank s, but they re now our go-to shop for my wife and I!If you re looking for a shop with people you can always trust, top quality work and very reasonable prices, please check them out! These guys are great! My car has a lot of issues. I was hesitant to take it to a shop out of fear that they either wouldn't touch it, would want to repair more than I could afford, or take advantage of me in some way. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast, honest and communicative Frank's auto was in fixing my problem. They called me and detailed exactly what needed to be done to get my car back on the road, and called me once again when it was completed just a few hours later. I'm very pleased with the work that was done. The quality of the repair is holding up beautifully and didn't cost nearly as much as I was expecting. It puts my mind at ease knowing I have a safe and trustworthy place to take my car from now on. Thank you guys!

This is the shop my employer uses for our fleet of vehicles. They are very honest and trustworthy, and always complete the work very quickly. I've even begun bringing my personal vehicle here because I know I can trust them for reasonable and fast service. Love these guys, highly recommended!

Talk about customer service combined with know how. I was in town on vacation and they helped me with a complex issue with my Subaru. Through no fault of theirs, the part failed within it's warranty but I'm not local to bring the car back. They worked with my mechanic and their parts company and refunded the work I had to do elsewhere INCLUDING the labor. Hopefully they will open up a shop where I live, haha, but otherwise I'll have them do any maintenance I need whenever I am in Manasquan.

Needed an emergency wheel balancing on a visit to Manasquan. They fit me in first thing the next morning and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Car drove perfectly on the way home. Friendly staff and great service!Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I had my car towed here and had no idea what was wrong with it or how much it was going to cost. Frank was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem and repairing it for a lot less than I expected. He gave me options for other work that could be done if I so desired. I would bring my car here again in a heartbeat!

Horrible Horrible Horrible. I once brought my 1989 car there and he said he was going to look for parts to fix it, two week later I had heard nothing. I called and he said they weren't able to find the parts needed so I asked "How much would this cost to fix if we had the parts" and he told me he had no idea. So I went to sell the car and the buyer called this place and asked how much the repair would cost and he quoted them 1000 to 2000 and the buyer then used that as a negotiation point against me. I just don't understand why he wouldn't tell me and made me look dishonest to the buyer.

First off, I am not related to the owner of this business. John works with integrity with all of his customers. Whenever there is a discovered problem, he always calls before proceeding with a repair. The complaining done by "google user" is unfounded. He has not identified himself nor does he specify what was done to his car. Incomplete information like this can be detrimental to the business. It isn't right or just that someone can put forth such accusations without merit. I have been a customer for ten years and John has always been on target with needed repairs.

I Bring my car here alot for servicing and this place does amazing service. They are honest with you. Upfront about the issue and always complete the job as quick and efficient as possible. I highly recommend anyone to go there . They are the best by far
