I went to get my brakes done/ checked thinking I just needed pads. Well they said I needed rotors and pads in which I didn't. I asked why I needed rotors they said because it was to thin. Quoted me 585. I didn't get it done. Took it to my mechanic and he checked it were the rotors were not thin and just fine. Pics to show. Beware that's all I got to say.

When Goodyear said No I can t help your emergency tire replacement because we are busy Mr. Tire came through for me and replaced my rear back tires. I had my tire explode off my mini van and Mr. Tire squeezed me in their tight schedule and got me back on the road within an hour. I had Mr. Tire replace both rear tires because the other tire had damaged to it as well. They quickly found replacements and gave me a great deal. Thank you Mr. Tire

Brought my Prius in to get all four tires changed out, balanced and get the alignment done. The guys were really nice and took great care of the car. Two weeks later I had to bring it back because the one tire was not holding air. They took me right away even though they were short handed and replaced the leaking valve. Very happy with their service and will absolutely use them again.

They've plugged/patched 2 of my tires now and did so effortlessly. We had trouble finding the tiniest pin hole in my tire that kept leaking and had to bring the car back but they patched it no charge and no questions asked. My now go to tire place having just moved to the area.

I just took my car there to get all four tires replaced. I had ordered tires from TireRack and I ordered the wrong size. The guys were great and they had tires there in the size I needed in my price range so we just did those instead. They did the balancing and alignment and now my 2013 Prius feels nice and tight again. The ride is smooth, quiet and she's not veering off to the right anymore. I had a good experience and would recommend others to go there as well. I ended up buy the Cooper Endeavor 15 inch tires in case you wanted to know.

Horrible experience. I wouldn t even have them put a valve stem cap on my vehicle. Thieves is what I m gonna say. Incompetent technicians that literally can t fill the air pressure on your tires to what the specs say, And then try to overcharge you for things you do not need lie to you over and over again and act like you re stupid and have no idea what is going on. They give mechanics a bad name.I called on saturday 1/13 to see if I could get 4 tires mounted and balanced on my truck. I was bringing my own tires with and was told they could get it done Sunday 1/14 and the price would be $39.99 per tire and $9 for all 4 old tires to be dumped. I dropped off the truck on 1/13 and waited all day Sunday for a call that my truck was all set. No phone call so I called at 3pm to see if it was finished. I was told that my lug nuts were to tight and they could not remove the tires and had to wait for the technician to come in on Monday to unlock his tool box. I received a call on Monday around 10:30Am and was told they needed to replace all my lug nuts because they were swollen. Honestly this is a joke because I am a mechanic and work on my own vehicles.The lug nuts are torqued by me to 130 Ibs and are aluminum capped so you can't use an impact gun to remove them or they will be damaged. I told the gentlem Clickoto Copye I was not paying $100 for lug nuts I don't need. He said they would only charge me for 5 lug nuts. They replaced 10 not 20 so obviously they all did not need to be replaced. In fact none of them needed replacing until the technician handled them improperlyAll I wanted was 4 tires mounted and balanced and this turned into a nightmare!! It should have costed me 170.00 per what I was quoted. I paid 248.02 and they were trying to charge me $300.00. RIDICULOUS!!! I picked up the truck and the PSI WAS AT 30PSI in each tire. I had them fill the air to the tire specs at 44PSI. I was asked "oh so you want the max pressure? We filled them to what the door says." I don't know who is working at this location but I will never ever return to have them touch my vehicle again. I was lied to 3 times and again all they were doing is mounting 4 tires!!!!

The only reason why I am giving any stars at all is for Joe's customer service. If this review was for customer service only I d give 5 stars for Joe. Unfortunately, the rest of my most recent experience here was such that I will not be coming back. This was my third time here, the first two services had their own flaws. Simple mistakes that anyone could make, heck even I have had similar mistakes when I was a service writer. One time his mechanic changed the wrong tire, and another visit I lost my hubcaps 5 miles after leaving on the side they replaced my tire sensors on.Not a big deal since I caught the problem with the tire and it was quickly resolved. I never told Mr. Tire about the hubcaps because honestly, I figured they would give me the run around like I ve seen my manager give so many times. However, this most recent visit was for a bigger concern because my vehicle needed a new radiator and hoses. The dealership was going to charge me over $2300 for this service Mr. Tire charged me just over $1000. I scheduled the service and had the work doneFast forward to less than a month later, and I realize that my vehicle was not warming up when sitting at idle. It would only get hot once the car was moving. That s an indicator that the coolant is low. Upon inspection, the reservoir was bone dry. I filled it up. Not even a day later it was empty again. Now, as of writing this the issue has been remedied. I was told it was one of the clips on a lower hose and that it was either faulty or not installed properly. The gentleman was not clear about that. And it wasn t Joe, Joe is very thorough. He s been on vacation. . Who knows how much damage was done to my engine driving with low coolant. Thank god I noticed it because I drive over 200 miles a day for work. I feel stupid for not noticing it sooner.Three service visits, three errors, three strikes. I won t be going back there. It seems that they have a staff of incompetent workers that can t even change the right tire. I should ve known better than to take the car there for the more serious of the concerns. It seems I was just a higher priced repair order and I knew what I wanted and was already willing to spend the money. They never conducted a MPI so when I asked about my brakes they couldn t even tell me. They didn t familiarize themselves with my vehicle. Very disappointing. I guess you get what you pay for.

The guys here are great and so helpful. I unfortunately got a flat tire on my way to back to school night around the corner from Mr. tire. I got my car towed here at 6:35 and the amazing mechanics stayed late after being here all day so they could put a new tire on. Huge shout out to them! Thank you so much!

Mr. Tire in Manahawkin. NJ service was Great the 2 times I went in. The first time was for front brakes and the second time was for an alignment. The wait time was NOT long and the service was Great. Thank You! Bill

This following review IS NOT at all what I wrote:"Had my Tire Rack order sent to Mr. Tire for installation. Smooth all the way around... like the tires".Yeah. No. The REAL REVIEW was a bit more like this:Brought in to replace 4 tires. Had first appointment. 3 hours later I'm waiting for parts delivery of busted lug nut. Lug nut arrives an hour later and then I wait 20 minutes for the final lug nut to be tightened. Which not occur until I finally FLIP OUT on them.Let's see if you SANITIZE my second attempt at a real review.AND as you always hear, if I could select NO STARS, I would.By the way, the guy behind the counter was decent enough.

Mr tire was always great. Unfortunately the last year or so the customer service is terrible and there is no communication unless you continue to reach out to them.

Stopped in without an appointment because of a noise related to, what I thought were, my tires. Joe said give me an hour and we ll take a look . It was done on time and, thankfully, no issue with the tires. Thetech, V, provided me with a detailed understanding of the issue. Highly recommend their service. Thanks Mr. Tire!

Took my car in for an oil change and as soon as I leave the car starts shifting/accelerating weirdly. I didn t have this issue before bringing the car in so I figured they must ve done something else to the car, never had this problem before. Tried calling and they insist we didn t touch anything else just did an oil change . I took it to a different shop, turns out they didn t change the oil or filter and instead drained all of my transmission fluid. The oil filter was my old one despite charging me for a new one (second picture next to a new filter), and the oil was dark and overfilled by 2-3 quarts just on top of my old oil (first picture). The guy that checked out my car tried calling them about what they did to my car and they hung up on him as soon as he tried to say they did something wrong. Ended up paying for a second oil change since they didn t actually do the service and sent me on my way insisting they did nothing wrong. Had I not taken immediate action my transmission would be way worse off than the current damage it took from their negligence.

If you want the wrong tires put on your vehicle, this is the place for you! They have awful customer service too, the guys will ignore you while sitting on the phone on personal calls. They put car tires on a work van, they re all terrible at their jobs.

Great job by John, Don and Rob the Mechanic. Rob fixed my broken rear axle, bearings and spindle, then road tested my car and got me back on the road! Special Thanks as this is my only Running car!! I will be getting my repairs done here in the future. The Team turned a bad day into a Good one!!

40 bucks for value stems ? Everything went fine until I saw the bill. Not sure if other tire guys charge this much for valve stems but I feel this is way to much !

I was definitely taken advantage of here. I went here multiple times for an oil change and the last time I did, they charged me $105.00 for a synthetic change. When I questioned the price, they assured me if I called around that their price would beat everyone s by a few dollars. I found out after that this was not the case. Lube Dr a few minutes away is $69.95 for a synthetic change. $105.00 for an oil change is criminal. I won t be going back.

With Joe M running the shop, all seems to go well. I am very confident in the diagnostics of my vehicle along with the workmanship that's applied.Now a days I have trust issues with mechanics but again I'm confident with Joe's evaluations because they're truthful. Other than that, unless Joe is in charge, I'd have to find another trusting mechanic.We know how hard that is!

Arrived to have tires installed and they said it was going to cost $166.00. Tire Rack quoted $94.00 when I purchased. Kid behind the counter said "he doesn't make the prices" great customer service...Took my tires, called Pep Boys and they are doing the job for $83.00. If this location wants to be a Tire Rack recommended installer they should honor Tire Rack quoted installation prices.

I have been bringing all my vehicle here for years. Everyone is fantastic. They are always super friendly and considerate. The work is well done and the prices are always fair. As a single mom I keep to a strict budget, but even when emergency repairs come up John and his team do everything possible to get back on the road again as quickly as possible and for the best price possible.

Called for appointment, arrived 5 minutes ahead of time and left 100 minutes later to fix a nail in tire. Don't bother giving appointments if you are not able to accommodate. Guy at desk wreaked of marijuana... Not cool. As a long time Mr. Tire customer, will use Goodyear next time. Very disappointing.

I stopped by, unannounced, with a flat tire. Well my car had a flat tire, not me. I don't even have tires. Anyway, they quoted a reasonable price for putting on a replacement, and i agreed to it because I'm a reasonable person, as I'm sure you'd agree. They completed the job in about 22 minutes and I drove my car home, with neither of us having flat tires. Mr. Tire seems like quite a catch, Mrs. Tire is a very lucky woman.

The location is great because it's just next to a shopping center, hair salon, places to eat, etc - BUT most importantly, it's a great place to have work done to you car. The manager is wonderfully helpful. He explains what the car should have done, but never pushy. If I decide not to have any more than an oil change, he prints the suggestions for next time I visit. That's really helpful so that I can plan for the additional cost.Service is always prompt and I've never had to return because something wasn't done properly.

Made appt Sept 26th to have 2 Michelin tires installed Sept 30th at 10 am at the Manahawkin location. Appt was confirmed. When I arrived for the appt the manager asked ME, "Do you know if we have these tires?". Turns out they did not - however he did say he could get them by 3 pm. Tires were installed at 4:30, but they could not honor the price I was quoted on-line and only after arguing did they reduce the price by $80 which was still $90 more than the on-line quote I was given (for tires only). Total mismanagement and a rip-off.UPDATE: I did call customer service based on their outreach below and both the overcharge on the tires and the overcharge on installation were refunded. I've updated my rating to 3 stars. If you are using this location from an on-line reservation I'd make sure to call ahead to make sure they have the tries (as they apparently don't look at reservations to see what they need) and confirm the price that is shown on-line.

John and Steve provided excellent service. I bought tires a few months ago at an affordable price. John highly recommend getting the road hazard. Thank god I did because my flat today only cost 35 bucks. They are not here to take you for your millions.but to provide you with quality service at an affordable price. Service is fast. I will.not go to any other place again, not even those wholesale store where you wait 2 hours. In and out in less than an hour. 10 stars in my book. One happy customer.

The employees at Mr.Tire we're all very professional and knew exactly what they were talking about. I made an appointment online and they didn't have the tires I wanted so they called immediately to inform me and worked with me until I was comfortable with the price. They got me in almost immediately and we're very fast changing 2 tires for me. Henry was extremely helpful through the whole process. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone with any type of car trouble in need of repair . They're the best shop I've dealt with.

From the phone call of setting up my appointment to payment Mr Tire associates were helpful and kind. Going there I know my car will be taken care of. They always have convenient appointments. The service is fast and accurate and they call when the service is complete. Don and the other associates treat each person with respect and makes sure the cars are safe and ready to go. I d recommend Mr Tire over any other quick line place.
