This was my first time at Wilson s and I can t emphasize how priceless FRIENDLY courteous service is to me. Smiling..speaking to me respectfully..taking time to explain everything patiently makes it worth every penny. I will definitely be back.

Don is not only one hell of a mechanic; he is a stand-up and honest gentleman who approaches your car repair in the most economical and efficient way possible. He saved me literally thousands of dollars in repairs that I would never have known about if he hadn't brought them to my attention otherwise. I couldn't be more thankful.

Had a problem with water in my van s sliding door..Three different places could not fix it..After reading all the excellent reviews, I pulled into Wilson s..In 3 minutes, Donny fixed the problem..He is an excellent technician and an excellent gentleman.. I recently had my Ford F-150 at a Ford dealership which quoted me over $15,000.00 for misc. repairs. I almost sold my truck because of the repair cost. Before selling it I brought it to Donny @ Wilsons. He was able to repair my, turbo, Cat. convert. issue, rear brakes, hood latch, tire pressure valves, E- brake cable and he installing my rear shocks and (4) tires for under $1,400.00. He Is extremely honest and a great mechanic. Two thumbs up!!

My sons car broke down while away at college. We are almost 2 hours away. I read reviews which were positive so I reached out. Don, the owner, was so helpful and pleasant to deal with. He was so easy to deal with and helped to put my mind at ease. We got the car to him which he diagnosed and fixed in a timely manner and at a fair cost. I would recommend this shop. For some reason I always think of the Beach Boys when I think of Wilson's. Anyway, very knowledgeable people, and helpful. They sell parts but also have a repair shop off the side, so they really know what they are talking about when it comes to all the pieces you need to put something back together. Also, one of my cars is an old Volvo with 400k miles on it. It runs perfectly well, but it's old. Some local shops have said disparaging things about my old car, along the lines of why don't I get rid of it. Wilson's admires my old car, they appreciate the fact that it has gone so far. They get it!

Let me start by saying I know my way around cars and try to do my own vehicle maintenance when I can. However, there are always those moments when you need an honest shop because the job is just too big or there aren't enough hours in the day to do it all. For those moments, there is always Wilson's Truck and Auto. I have tested many shops over the years and none match the standard here. Wonderful family-owned small business. I have been taking my vehicles here for over 15 years. Donnie, the owner, always stands by his work. Always fair and delivers service with the highest integrity. Wouldn't go anywhere else.7/28/23I feel like I need to update this review because Don consistently proves he's the most honest mechanic in the area. A while back, Don did a tune up on my wife's Prius. The spark plugs are hard to reach and nestled up right by the windshield. When I picked the car up, I drove off and noticed a crack in the windshield that wasn't there before right near the center of the hood of the car. I asked Don about it and he offered to take care of the windshield free of charge. I feel like other techs or shops would have denied cracking the windshield. Instead of debating it, Don just took responsibility for it and had a new windshield installed.I'm sure there are countless other stories that testify to his integrity, but this one was notable.

Probably the best and most honest place I've ever been to! Have gone here a while and also always very happy with the price and service. This last time I decided I had to spend a few minutes letting everyone know just how great they are. Brought in my sons older car for major repair. They worked diligently getting parts from all over to keep the cost down. I know I saved hundreds of dollars because of their diligences and caring enough to put in the extra time instead of just getting me top dollar stock parts. The car runs like new and I am a fan forever!

Very friendly and attentive for replacing the belt in my friend 's car. Had a 9 AM appointment and didn't take long was back home quickly. Reccomend this place highly.

They are a rare find! I use to go 20 miles to a mechanic for really half-good service. I have taken my new range rover to them and they did fabulous job. I took my not so new Acura and they diagnosed whats the issue and fixed it. Best part is they are not there to rip you off. Very very reasonable!

Great mechanic., always try s to help you. And fair on prices, good work. I ve been going there over 20 years. He will never cheat you, honest family owned business. He treats you with respect and answers all questions. He won t make you wait, if possible. Don alway wil a smile and Lee helps also. Good people. Everyone that I recamend to them are happy and tell others how happy they are with them. There are not many honest mechanics and repair around , and you have a great one here in mahwah ,NJ. I had Don look at my car. The radio didn t work and there was a rattle under the hood. Picked it up later that day to no charge. Quick fixes he said. Honest. Hardworking. Reliable.

Brought my car here for service, new to the area and don't have a mechanic yet. I will be going here for all future car needs. Very good service, price, and seems very trustworthy. Took time to answer all of my questions and explained everything in detail.

Fast service, excellent work!Well, I and my family went to NJ/NY for a hike at Harriman State Park. Our 1995 Honda Civics got overheat on I-287 since I forgot to check the radiator water. The engine went wonky after the overheat and smells bad. Early in the morning on Saturday, we brought our car to this place. Don, the mechanic, quickly solved the problem. We got back to Baltimore safely the next day. Thank you so much!

These guys are the real deal. Friendly, only use quality parts (auto part store in the building), good prices, efficient, and no sales pressure at all.Top notch! Over all great experience.
