I'm new to the area and this is my second visit to this shop. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Case in point, I noted that my steering wobbles a bit when braking after long drives. I was warned it may be my brake pads (cue my eyeroll and anticipation of having to spend a bunch of $'s on new brakes). Upon inspection, the owner walked me out to my vehicle, showed me how new my pads are, and then educated me on how rotors when heated up can cause vibration (especially if they aren't higher end rotors). No extra expense needed. That's an honest shop...and i appreciate the clear explanation to set future driving expectations. Great local business, highly recommend!

Thieves. Got a check engine light come on for misfire. I knew the issue was coming and told them that. 1.) They told me I needed a tire change when they only need a rotation.2.) They told me I needed to change my cabin air filter which was changed less than a year ago.3.) They told me I needed all my coils and plugs changed as well when in reality I only need the plugs.4.) I also requested an oil change prior which was my fault but they had already started it when the man had called me to tell me all this and how much it's going to cost.Which was 2000$. I came in for a simple fix.I drive a 2017 hyundai elantra not a Maserati.5. When I came in to pay, he threw my card back on the counter Like I was a scumbag and told me it's not to get mad at him and it's not my fault my car is broken.LOL, buddy the car isn't broken your just a huge their.I'll be honest I spazzed a little on the phone with the dude but as you can see I have fair reasons why. I would personally never send a soul here.

I called about a simple bulb replacement for a headlight and without hesitation was helped right away for a nominal price. The car dealership wanted an exorbitant service fee on top of the price of the bulb cost. Just moved back to the area and I highly recommend Bill & his team. Nothing else to say but AWESOME!

This place is sketchy, avoid giving them business.They stole contact information from my elderly parents and now I get emails from them all the time, even though I live in a different state and have never actually patronized Mahwah Sunoco. I have tied several times to unsubscribe, my mother talked with the shop owner, but I still get spammed.

Went to get my girlfriend s oil changed and they were super helpful and knowledgeable! I m a car enthusiast and usually pretend like I m not educated about cars when I go places to see if they try to lie/rip me off and they did nothing but be honest and were very friendly.

We started buying our gas from Mahwah Sunoco because of the friendly and courteous attendant. Our next experience was having our two cars inspected and again received excellent and timely service. Recently, we brough both cars in for routine maintenance. It was very easy to set up appointments and the work was completed the same day. Thank you to Bill Laforet and his team.

I was in Mahwah visiting my daughter on Saturday morning when the driver side window slid down into the door. I called the station, explained my situation to Bill. I was told to bring the car over right then and there!! He ordered the parts and I got my car back last night!!! They are amazing and deserve 10 stars !!!!Friendly, courteous customer service extremely helpful and knowledgeable!!!Thank you so much, Bill for an exceptional job and amazing customer service!!! I don t normally go back and give good reviews when a business does a good job but these guys deserve my time to do that . I had to get an inspection on an old truck and it had an incomplete catalyst and evaporator code. Which wouldn t have allowed it to pas inspection They told me what to do (drive a certain way and a certain amount of time and a certain speed etc) and it cleared the code enough to pass inspection. Really quality customer service and professionalism. Great place, very clean and welcoming waiting area. I would highly recommend them. .

I love Mahwah Sunoco! Bill and his team are true professionals. Whenever I have a problem with my Jeep, I give Bill a call and he and his team always fix the issue in a timely manner. They are friendly and efficient and a true pleasure to work with.Once again, we had service done this past weekend at Mahwah Sunoco. This time on our 2016 Jeep. We dropped it off at 8AM and by the time we got back home after running a couple of errands, it was done! Bill and his team are terrific! They provide sound service always and they are speedy and efficient, too! Since my battery died, they came out and started it then drove it back for overall routine checkup and winterizing. Then did Inspection. Called to get OK for all work. Polite, friendly, honest. AAA approved and discount. Then they delivered my car back. The most important thing to me is they get it right, and I completely trust them. They have all my records and let me know what I'm due for. A bit expensive but the dealer costs even more, and you get what you pay for, in this case. In today s fast paced world, the customer experience is often overlooked. Today, I had an issue with my vehicle and unfortunately no time to deal with this problem. A trusted source recommended I contact Mahwah Sunoco. When I did, the call was immediately answered and they fit me in the schedule within the hour. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a pleasant gentleman who arranged for my car to be placed on the lift right away. As it turned out, the problem was minor and could be handled very quickly, which it was and my car was returned to me within 15-30mins.The automobile service industry has not developed the best reputation - it s riddled with bad actors who overcharge and have no concern for the value of your time. Today I experienced the exact opposite.I ve never stopped by the Mahwah Sunoco before but can assure you the next time I find the need, I won t have to ask where I should take my vehicle for Service.To Bill, your wife and your service technician - thanks for turning today s unfortunate car problem into a very minor time drag, and I appreciate your attention to providing a superior customer experience.

Terrible customer service, once brought my vehicle there that required premium, always get premium there and told the gas pump attendant this each and every time. Received regular, engine started knocking about 10 minutes later and brought back the car and receipt in the afternoon and the owner told me to kick rocks. Would highly advise avoiding this place and just across the street.

Called for a price to re-thread a muffler stripped blot hole for my 2020 vehicle. This particular damage was not covered under warranty. I chose this place because it was very close to home and at the same time why not support local businesses. The person was very rude from the beginning, his questions were more interrogation style, I assumed it is end of the day and people can be a bit grumpy. He asked for my full name which I spelled out for him, then I gave my phone number. Next he asked for my full address, this is when I stopped him and asked for an estimate before I hand over all my personal info. When I asked for the price again, he hung-up the phone on me. If you re having a bad day, maybe you should not be taking calls. Way to do business!!

During COVID-19 when I needed an oil change but could not bring my car in, Mahwah Sunoco picked up my car, did the oil change, and returned it to my condo. It was the first time I used them and they were very pleasant. I will definitely use them from now on.Bari

I brought my cars for inspection. One of the cars had a brake warning light on. They found the issue and fixed it for me. Not only that, the clearly told me what the problem was. I will definitely go back there for future service needs.

My family and I have been bringing cars here for over 20 years and always receive excellent and honest service. I recently brought my car to a dealer for a series of check engine codes. They told me I needed to completely rewire the engine and even said I needed a new radiator. Bill and George at Sunoco offered me a second opinion and I'm glad I took it. They did the work properly and discovered the sensor causing all of the problems, and even ended up redoing some of the dealer's previous work that was poorly done and contributed to another problem. Turns out my radiator isn't leaking. If I hadn't given them the opportunity I would be in it deep with the dealer, unnecessarily rewiring my engine to find it wasn't even the problem, and have a radiator I don't need installed. I'm asking myself why I didn't bring it to them in the first place because we have always trusted them and know they follow through.

Place is a rip off triple A sent me here and they charged me 400 dollars for labor and I wasn t even there for an hour I could see maybe 200 but to charge 200 dollars to scan a computer and another 200 to change the part that only takes 10 minutes and only says it takes 30 minutes in the book I would definitely not be going back or recommend anyone to go there. So I have a 700 dollar bill between parts and labor when it should only be 500 at the most place is a rip off don t trust them
