Dishonest and not dependable. Terrible customer service. Avoid if your car is out of warranty. I took my mother's Fiesta here a few months back as the heater/AC blower had stopped working. Although it is a 2017 Fiesta, it only ~3k miles on it as it is rarely driven, and it suddenly just stopped blowing air. I took her car to Mahwah Ford, and we had a terrible experience.They charged us ~$170 to just look at the car, and came back to say that it would cost > $1600 to fix it, as there had been a major short out; when I pushed back, the mechanic said, well, it would necessitate taking out the entire dashboard, etc.. I balked at the price given the low wear/tear on the car, and decided to get a second opinion. I found an excellent mechanic who diagnosed the problem correctly - faulty relay had to be replaced, and who ended up charging me $178.08 - for the part and for labor. It is now working perfectly. Note that the mechanic I went to is not specialized in Ford - and he still was able to diagnose the problem. So if you have money to burn and don't care what you spend, go to Ford Mahwah Service. Two other notes as well: I had made an appointment for that service at Ford - and they pushed it back to the following day despite my getting there at the early morning time they had stipulated. Additionally, as they kept it an extra day and it had snowed, no attempt was made to clean the ice off the car windshield, which was very difficult to deal with given the blower had stopped working -- no thought to even just cover it given they knew what was wrong with the car. The guy they had who cleaned off windshields made a tiny hole to see through and when I pressed him he said it was my problem as I had elected to not get the car fixed at Ford. All in all, the worst experience I have ever had at a mechanic -- and note, we had bought the Fiesta at Ford in Mahwah (along with another Focus) -- never again. Quality Job One? Yeah, right.

I just purchased another vehicle from Mahwah Ford, from the time of placing the special order for my truck last year to picking it up this past week it has been a very pleasant and easy going experience for my first time ordering a vehicle and not buying off the lot. Doug was great to work with from explaining the ordering process to placing the order as well as updates on the order status. He even reached out when new options were made available for the vehicle during the waiting period to see if I was interested and made the changes. The best for me was how great Doug and the rest of the staff was with my 4 year old son and treating him and my family just like their own family hence why I ve bought several vehicles from them as well as all my friends and family I send to Mahwah Ford. Huge thanks to Doug and Chris for their help and their future help on purchases

Absolutely fantastic experience. I went here to purchase a new car after I had gotten into an accident and had almost everything finalized over the weekend. My car was completely ready by that Tuesday. The sale was handled by PJ Flattery, who is incredibly personable, efficient, and funny. He laid everything out incredibly straightforwardly and made the entire purchasing experience smooth and transparent, sparing no detail and being completely clear about everything. And the car itself is absolutely fantastic. Outstanding service and a great place to get your next car.

We bought our Mach-E almost a year ago and couldn't be happier with it. Neil Schwab was able to answer all of our questions about the unfamiliar EV technology and get us connected with the Ford app. But Neil's expertise and service has extended well beyond the date of sale, with prompt delivery of paperwork needed with respect to our move out of state and also at tax time! So very appreciative!!! If you're on the market, ask for Neil.

My third SuperDuty purchased from Mahwah Ford over the years. Each time, I've had a POSITIVE experience. Sales Associate, Dave Saunders on all (3) has been nothing short of Fantastic each time. We both respect and understand each other professionally and understand the limitations of what to expect once the Vehicle has been ordered. At point of Sale decision when Special Ordering both Dave and Chris Donnelly, one of the Principles involved - have been very fair, precise and detail oriented about what to expect during the delivery wait time. All avenues of the transaction... from Purchase Price, to Trade-in and Service [on previous Trucks] have been effortless. As a Business Owner myself, I respect and admire how they run their operations from the moment you're greeted on through to delivery!

Although there was a slight issue that came up while trying to get a courtesy car at Mahwah, the Manager Chris Donnelly corrected the situation immediately. He called me and made sure that everything went smoothly with my Ford repair. It's great to deal with a company that treats their customers with respect and cherishes their commitment to customer satisfaction. I also want to give a shout out to Mr. Shwab for helping us with our lease buyout and for Michelle who orinally helped us get a courtesy car when our Ford had a recall.

The worst company I have ever seen in my life. I asked them about how many emergency lights were on in the car. They said they would check and I would be charged an inspection fee. In the end, they charged me for everything separately, more than $500 Without fixing anything in the car, I suggest to anyone. Never go to this place they are a bunch of thieves. If they had told me in advance that I would pay this amount, I would never have agreed. Very bad treatment

The WORST dealership! Not sure who is worse, the sales department or service. Once you buy a vehicle you are dirt to them and don t care about the customer anymore. We purchased a new 2023 F-150 fully loaded, so we spent a pretty penny. Started having problems with the dealership on the day we we paying for the truck. That should ve been red flag number to leave and not buy the truck. After that we immediately had the light for our tailgate went on and never goes off. Brought it back to the dealership and they said they don t know the problem. We live over 2 hours from this dealership in upstate NY. I drove to NJ and the engine light came on. Not wanting to have a major issue and not knowing why the light came on I called the service department. They couldn t look at the truck just to tell me if it was safe to drive or not. Service told me they didn t know what to tell me, they didn t have a loaner and couldn t look at it. And of course the salesman who sold us the truck is never around to talk to when I called him. My biggest regret with this truck is where I purchased it. Wished I did more research on the dealership. Big warning to anyone not to buy from them!!

I recently had some warrantee work performed on my new 2023 F150 that I purchased while living out of state. Michelle (service advisor) was awesome about fitting me in for the warrantee work. I was having a water leak in my 2023 F150 sunroof area. While I wish Ford had better quality control, I ve had the same new car issues with Nissan too. Knocking on wood that the leak is fixed, but I felt Mahwah Ford service dept. was awesome. I ll be back for general maintenance.

Receptionist gave me attitude on 4/1/24 when attempting to setup an appointment to return a leased vehicle. They said they have too many cars and can't take the vehicle back. It sounds like a pathetic excuse for not wanting to do paperwork when they know there is no additional sale (hence scheduling an appointment). If they can't sell cars, perhaps you should look elsewhere as it is clearly an issue with their staff.

Worst dealer to deal with. The front desk woman is very nasty and extremely unprofessional with a loose temper. Rest of the crew is meek losers unable to keep their word or do their job.Don't step foot in this location.Take your business elsewhere.

Very bad service stay away from Ford in general. We bought a certified 2020 Ford explorer, two months after the problem started, the truck is getting water inside, ford claimed that the damage was not cover in the warranty, we paid for the repair and two days after the water is back inside and even worse. Called the dealer to find out that we have to wait two weeks to bring the car back again as they are overbooked.We also have received more then five recalls for different reasons Do not buy Ford worse cars ever!!!!

Purchased a new 2023 Ford Explorer from Mahwah Ford. As usual, Dave Saunders was terrific. He presented many options and was not pushy at all. He took out needs in account and was respectful and realistic. His many years of experience really shows. I have purchased a vehicle there before and will again in the future. I would recommend Mahwah Ford and Dave Saunders to anyone searching for a new or used vehicle.

2023- Not sure if I got someone was in a bad mood in service but I had recall on my mustang. Computer update Service gentleman said would take 2-4 hours. I was also Not allowed to wait for it. I then asked for a loaner and since i did not buy car from dealership I was not allowed to request a loaner. I called All American in Hackensack complete opposite. Will be taking my service there from now on. I was allowed to wait for car and I was completed in an hour.2022 - Greg was very professional and a nice guy. Appreciated his honesty with telling me what some of the 10k mile services were for. Hard worker was doing multiple jobs and never complained. Still a great experience.2021 - Very nice people, first time there servicing my Ford here. Definitely will be coming back. Nicole K. in service was a joy to work with, very happy and pleasant. Give me more Nicole s in the world that enjoy there job instead of grumpy old men behind the counters of businesses. I will be coming back and asking for Nicole. Mahwah Ford please give her a raise so she is there for a long long time. Car was serviced in time allocated. Plus they are doing all types of renovations to service department. Going to be even nicer on my next visit!!

Horrible service. Dropped my truck in for service to my sun roof which wouldn t shut. They left my truck outside open in the rain. All water flooded my floor mats and pretty much all interior of my car. Stay away from this place. Been trying to contact manager since last week to do something about this and they give me a run around. I would post videos of it but this dealer has blocked me from posting this.

Very happy with the Mahwah Ford sales team, their buying process, and the Ford truck we bought. They helped us locate a difficult to find truck and were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly in completing the buying process. Great dealership and great team. Sorry but Ford sucks, I own one and it always breaks down. I hate Ford trucks, they are so unreliable! I have a Toyota Tacoma also and it is the complete opposite, very dependable, reliable truck. Don't buy a Ford. Those are pictures if my Ford truck and its has one problem after another.

Great service as usual! Lou, my service writer, kept me aware of what was happening throughout the day. My car was ready on time and at price point discussed. Love that you can get a loaner car for major servicing!Folks at Mahwah Ford know me and they know my cars. Highly recommend their service deparment.

Great experienced, Dave the service guy was awesome. Although my prior oil change was at Maplecrest Ford (complimentary 1st oil change) who gave me my truck back sparkling clean, Mahwah was efficient and very professional. Thank You.

Yesterday we went to pick up a car that we bought and we had to sign the documents, before signing I asked the financier to show me the detail of the charge since I had a bad experience at another dealer who was charging me about $6,000.00 of services that had not been requested.The financier refused to print the detail and was a bit rude in the way he treated us, after insisting so much he printed it and in the same way as the previous time they were charging me $600 for an insurance that I did not request.This type of situation is really annoying since I believe that before signing and accepting a Credit I have every right to know the details. In addition, good service and treatment must prevail even more when it is the sale of products of a very significant value.When you make negotiations with this dealer, take your precautions

I just recently bought a pickup truck from Mahwah Ford. The sales person I had was very nice, not pushy in to selling you something you did not want. Thank you PJ Flattery. The reason for the 3 stars is for who ever does their detailing before you pick up your vehicle. They may have ran it through the car wash but for got to clean the inside. Photos to show. So before you pull away always check to make sure it is cleaned like they say it is.

I originally went in to get an idea of what I was looking to purchase. My salesperson (Mark) was very helpful and I did not feel rushed. He answered any questions I had and made the process seem very effortless. I appreciated his assistance and made sure I was taken care of. I just purchased a 2018 Raptor. The staff was professional with no sales pressure. When I returned to show them a mark in the paint in the roof they fixed it on the spot. Have used these guys to service my last F-150 and found them to be up front and honest. Highly Recommended.

During the most stressful moment in a while with my Ford Fusion 2019, Dave from Mahwah Ford from New Jersey showed me what a true professional a man can be. My Ford Fusion broke down during refueling and refused to start. Eventually I was able to start the vehicle and headed towards the Ford dealer my GPS has chosen. Despite I showed up without appointment and with some mayor repairs to be done, Dave was able to assure me I was in the right place and was able to squeeze me in the service calendar and out in four hours. Mahwah Ford NJ had the parts and technician on site to get the job done so I can go to my job. Thank you Dave and Mahwah Ford. WC
