Had a cat delete x pipe installed on my Thruxton 1200 R. My second time here and Sidi provides top customer service and I can tell he really takes care of your bike like it's his very own. This job wasn't easy but Sidi took care of it quick and at a very reasonable price! Highly recommend!

Sidi has worked on 3 bikes of mine a Suzuki Intruder, a Honda shadow 600 and a Honda VTX 1300. I am happy with the work I had done on all 3 bikes. He is priced very good and takes pride in the work he does for you. Sidi brings good vibes to your service experience and is always willing to go over his work and does his best to keep you as the customer happy with the service experience. I highly recommend and will continue to bring my business to Sidi!

Just got my Vmax back from City Cycles in Madison NJ! Had a few things done (fork seals, new exhaust, and tire) either I just didn't have time for or honestly didn't know how to do myself. The reviews are true, Sidi was awesome. Kept in touch, great communication, great price, I'm so glad I found an honest mechanic locally. Highly recommend. Five stars!

It is so hard to find someone who will work on older bikes and I am so glad I found Sidi at City Cycles. He is knowledgeable, fast, and very fairly priced.

I just want to start off by saying Sidi is a respectable person and it was a pleasure to speak with him. I happen to come across his shop unintentionally while looking for a place to eat because it is a little hidden from the main road but the driveway is right on Main street. He was willing to listen to my concerns, walk me through any issues i had, and quick to getting my bike back into my hands. He does answer calls and texts so if any updates are needed he lets you know while your bike is in the shop. Happy to have had my bike serviced there and will be coming back again!Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

I went to visit Sidi's workshop for balancing and assembling my tires on my R6, my rim was hit he tried to fix it did not work, he recommended me to buy a new one which I proceeded to follow his advice, the next few days when the new rim arrived he did the job super fast and he has even done more than I asked for for the same price, super good experience and good vibes.. I definitely recommend it and I will surely return for more.

Finally got to stop by Sidi's shop in Madison after being a frequent customer at his old shop in Mountainside. Happy to see you are doing well my friend and hope to bring my bike by for some regular maintenance in the off season. Always a great experience. Always honest, upfront and cares about cost to the owner for any repair. Not many mechanics like Sidi in this world anymore. Keep up the great work.

I own several bikes and it is hard to find a mechanic who knows multiple manufacturers. I called 15 places looking for someone to replace the starter clutch on my 84/85 kawasaki 900R also knows as the Top Gun Bike . The minute I spoke with Sidi on the phone and said no problem and began to describe in detail the work ,I knew he was a seasoned mechanic. I took a couple months due to parts that were needed but once they arrived the bike was down in a few days. Picker it up today and it runs like clock. I will be using Sidi from now on for my other 4 bikes.

The owner Sidi is very professional and knows motorcycles. I normally work on my bike myself, but in this day and time, I just didn't have time to do that. I trust Sidi to do the job, and he came through for me. The work I had done was electrical, and he also did some clutch work for me. His price was reasonable for the work that was done. Very happy with it. Thank you.Service: Electrical repair

Sidi was great to deal with. Texted him in the morning and he installed a new set of tires on my BMW R1250GSA the same day. Will definitely use him again in the future.

Bought my first bike used, brought it home then all my lights weren't working (headlight, taillight, blinkers). Was very upset because I wanted to ride, looked online for motorcycle repair and found city cycle in Madison. Reviews were good so I decided to go there, let me say I have found my permanent mechanic. Sidi the owner was great, I felt comfortable leaving my bike with him and just got a good vibe from speaking to him. Was thinking it would be a few days (maybe 3 or 4) before it would be fixed and sidi had it fixed the next day! I don't think I have been that suprised/happy in a long time. I definitely recommend city cycles for any and all repairs for bikes/atvs. Thank you sidi for making this fat kid smile Services: Electrical repair, Oil change

Sidi the motorcycle shop owner is honest, hard working and reasonable person. His pricing are very reasonable and work quality is very good. My 2010 Honda NT700V won't start and I tried everything myself and also tried to get help online/other motorcycle shop. Sidi diagnosed the issue and fixed it in less than 1 day. He is easy to very work and tells things upfront. I highly recommend him for any motorcycle repair. After many desperate weeks of looking around I am able to get my motorcycle to start and the electrical problem fixed. Thanks SidiOne note please call before going to shop so that you are certain to find Sidi at the shop.Service: Electrical repair

The best mechanic who provides the the best service for his clients. My boyfriend and I truly appreciate all the hard work Sidi has put into both of our motorcycles ( 16 BMW s1000r and 17 Honda Rebel 500) from oil/brake fluid changes, tire changes, mods, etc. He is creative and highly skilled in what he does. Without a doubt, we highly recommend anyone that needs work done to their motorcycle to go visit his shop.

Sidi loves what he does and it shows. He cared that my bike was taken care of and done right. I initially just came in to have new tires installed but wound up getting a cleaned rebuilt carb and brakes bled after seeing how quickly he works. My bike runs great!! I am so glad I found my new bike shop! Thanks Sidi!!Services: Carburetor cleaning, Tires, Brake service & repairServices: Carburetor cleaning, Tires, Brake service & repair

Went in looking for a repair shop to call home and found it. Sidi is genuine and isn't going to try and rip you off, actually, he does the opposite and tries to save you money without cutting corners. He definitely knows what he's talking about and his work shows his passion for bikes as he treats your bike like it's his own, cleaning and making sure everything he touches looks better than when it came in.

Sidi is a really great guy but had a really bad experience with my bike (2001 Honda CBR F4i). Our initial agreement was too have it maintance and to make sure the bike starts up. The bike was fully maintenance but numerous issues happened. The cable of the fan was ziptied and not plugged in (possibly because of the previous owner) the front tire was not aligned with the handlebars he told that the reason why it wasn t starting up it because of the starter but in reality it was because the fuel was not priming. I spend almost 900$ on the services. But really appreciate the service but little things matter.

Brought my bike here to get serviced based on the reviews and was disappointed. Prior to going there I called Sibi and let him know what service I needed done to my bike he said sure bring it he can do it. Once he got to the shop all of a sudden he tells me it's not worth it to work on my bike because it would take him 3 hours or more to install the wiring harness on my headlights. What can of business minded person does tht? Refuse a paying customer without even discussing price because I was willing to overpay just to have my bike ready to ride. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to no one....

Great service, exceptional communication, and reasonably priced. Took my 2011 Kawasaki zx6R in for service and repair. Sidi fixed it like it was his own bike! Highly recommended for motorcycle service/ repair.

Highly recommend Sidi for any work related to motorcycles. Very knowledgeable and talented guy. Went out of his way to help me get all the issues resolved on my machine. Tries to come up with different solutions to make things work instead of just replacing them.Takes his time to get the work done to your satisfaction.

I found City Cycles on Facebook. I was searching for a motorcycle/scooter repair shop to tune-up my moped / scooter and figure out the electrical problem that has prevented the scooter from starting with the ignition for a month. I initially found a shop that told me they would need the bike for a minimum of 1 week and maximum of 2 weeks. I use the scooter everyday to get me to and from the train station so I can then commute into NYC daily. I could not afford to lose my scooter for that long. I also only paid 1,500 for the scooter, so I was trying to find a place that wouldn't cost me too much. After weeks of searching and having to manually jump my scooter each morning, I stumbled across City Cycles in Short Hills NJ right across the street from the Short Hills train station. I found and emailed the owner Sidi Traore. I explained to Sidi what the issue was and if he thought he could fix it for a reasonable price and if he could do it and have it back to me within a few days. He responded and gave me an idea on price and told me to bring it down and he would fix it asap. So I did. I dropped it off in the morning before work. By early afternoon he had diagnosed the issues and made all nessesary repairs. He emails me and tells me it's ready to pick up that same day. I was shocked. I took the train there after work to pick it up.When I arrived the bike was shiny and clean. Sidi said he gave it a bath for me. It looked brand new!He showed me the long list of repairs he made. All of which were in line with the ballpark estimate he gave me initially. I was extremely satisfied. My bike works as good as new again.Let me give you some insight on Sidi. You couldn't meet a nicer guy. He is polite and calm, and explains everything so well. You can tell he is so passionate about working on motorcycles / scooters / mopeds etc. His passion comes out in the way he explains the repairs and the bike in general. In fact, when he started the bike to show me all was good with it, his facial expression looked like he was listening to something. He pulls out his screwdriver and makes an adjustment on the spot. I asked what he was doing and he said he wasn't fully happy with the idle sound and wanted to adjust. Passion and caring! He told me the belt had a few hundred miles left on it before it would break. He told me not to worry and just drive it. He said he would order one for me, and when it does break, he would come out to me wherever I am and make the belt change right then and there.Sidi is passionate about bikes and his passion comes out in his work. His prices were super reasonable, and he got the job done in 1 day because he knew I needed the scooter to get to and from the train station daily for work. The convience of being across the street from the Short Hills train station was great. I live in Berkeley Heights. I was able to drop the bike and get on the train going to NYC.I don't give reviews often, but just had to here. Sidi is awesome!

City Cycles 1st time using them . Being an retired mechanic I don't have access to the equipment to repair alot of things on my bike anymore. I am very sceptical when it comes to having otheres do work for me. Sidi made me very happy! Got it back running top notch.. He even cleaned it!! Sidi is a stand up guy. When he says he is going to do something for you he means it. He kept me in the loop the whole way through about the bike. For that I commend him. Thank you very much.

Worst experience I ve ever had at a shop. Dropped off a running 2000 v star that I needed a jet kit in and picked up a non running bike a month in a half later. It looks like this guy is only good for C level work. So if your not going for just an oil change stay away. Siddi the owner/ awful mechanic was extremely rude when asked for a refund on work that he wanted to get paid in advance which he refused to give me. Drove by his shop in Mountainside NJ and his shop is cleaned out and up for rent. Looks like another fly by night operation where once he wears his welcome out he shuts down and opens elsewhere. STAY AWAY!!!

Sidi is really nice, really knowledgeable, quick, fair priced, everything you could ask for in a mechanic and then some. If you're in North or Central Jersey, (even in Brooklyn like me) and you want to get the best deal and service, go to City Cycles.

Expert repair and top service on all bikes at very fair prices. Safety is most important to me but I hate the franchise dealerships that charge high prices and act like they do you a favor. At City I get the safety of a dealership with very fair prices and excellent customer service.
