Steve is a world-class carburetor guru who has been rebuilding, fixing, building and modifying carburetors for customers all over the tri-State area out of his Lyndhurst shop for over forty years. Not to mention, a standup, funny, honest, reliable and trustworthy guy. The Clifton machine shop I work at has both referred and sent dozens of carburetors to him for overhaul over the years (stock OEM, performance/racing and marine), and not one has ever come back with a problem. He is simply the best at what he does ! Hoping he never retires !

Steve is the best in the business when it comes to carb overhauling, it comes back like new and runs better than new when he is done with it. Always a pleasurer to do business with, a true expert in the field of carburetor overhaul & repair. Very fairly priced for the quality of his work. Highly recommend his services and had many carbs overhauled by him myself.

Steve's carburetor shop is old school but is exactly what you need when you need a carburetor rebuilt and done right.His wealth of knowledge is incredible. Steve is well verse in is profession I told him the year of my vehicle which is 1986 Chevy P30 and right away he know what Carburetor I was looking for. He was the only one that could have assist me. Everywhere I look couldn't find it Steve was the only one that could help me out. Right now my truck is running beautifully.

No free Wifi and No Flavored coffee brewing in the waiting area. BUT if you're looking for an EXPERT to rebuild your carburetor this is the place. I dropped off a non working trapped out 34 year old Carburetor from a ford industrial motor and got back a work of art.He is fairly priced and his quick turn around was better than expected It Looked almost brand new. I installed on on the engine and it ran perfect. I didn't even have to adjust it. Steve knew the carburetor just by looking at it. Its refreshing to use the service of a true High quality craftsman of his trade. I would not hesitate to use him in the future , I just wish I knew of him earlier. Shops like this are few and far between .

Steve's carb shop and Steve as a person is the best out there . I am in the automotive business for 40 years and I know when someone is a cracker jack ! Steve is exactly that . Look no further Steve's carb shop is one of a kind. You are waisting your time trying to find a repair shop that even comes close to his experience . Steve himself has integrity that you will not find in all mechanical repair shops . Thank you Steve for having pride and the knowledge that you give to all your customers.Keep up the great job you do ! the first carburetor Steve did for me was about 50 years old and not only did it work perfectly but he got all the corrosion and rust off of it and it looked brand new. I was impressed . I have since given him many more Carburetors and they all worked great. I have been in the automotive repair business for over forty years and I would highly recommend Steve

Steve's carburetor shop is a well known and reputed shop in the industry. In all honesty while my vehicle is not running perfectly, Steve literally changed the condition and performance of my car completely. Steve made a world of difference in the vehicles performance in one fix. I was hoping that I could have a perfect functioning engine, but it is a gamble when you deal with older cars. This is coming from someone who has been to 7 businesses and not have any positive results to speak of, even though I don't have any faith to speak of in the auto repair industry, I am glad I got good results with Steve and I am confident that you will have a great experience too.Steve is a fixture in tri-state performance and restoration carburetor work, but he doesn't only deal with classic cars or domestics,you can tell by the parking lot. If it's carbureted he will get it running right for you.The shop is able to work with a wide range of carburetors and if you need additional work he is right across the road from a repair shop. It's a pretty good setup. You can do a whole lot of wrong if you take chances with fixing your carb, but you can do a lot of good if you go with Steve.

The professionals at Steve's Carb Shop are exactly that, "PROFESSIONALS". I've been in the automotive industry nearly 40 years, and have had plenty of sub standard Carb rebuilds from so called experts. The cost quotes have always been honest, fair, and exact. I am completely satisfied and I highly recommend them.

Amazing guy!! My car started up immediately with no pump of gas. My 1969 Oldsmobile sounds like thunder now, Steve really knows he's stuff, glad I came here.

What a pleasure! Has shelves and shelves of parts probably everything imaginable regarding old carbs. Went in with an 86 Camaro Holley 600 double pumper and needed help tuning. He taught me how to remove my carb as he only works on carbs off the car. So once the carb was off he immediately started work! Got it put back on maybe 10 minutes later after he adjusted it all and tested it on his rig. He then fixed some of the previous owners mods and my Camaro runs way better now! Definitely recommend this shop for any carb needs! Really improved my car!Service: Auto engine tuning

I took in my Rochester 2 bbl from my 63' Chevy Impala that was absolutely gunked up from 60 years of use. I recently got the car running but wasn't able to drive it due to the carb. I took it to Steve, he got it done in 2 days, and once I put the carb back on the car it started right up and drove no problems. Not to mention the carb looks brand new on the outside. If your looking to get your carb rebuilt, look no further.
